Outreach is like a to do list for Sales reps
What do you like best about the product?
Orgnised. It is much more organised than using spreadsheets, or just the CRM. Outreach super charges SDRs to increase productivity and to focus on the most engaged prospects
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and analysis. In the last year they have made huge improvements but you can never do with too much analysis
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure we have x number of touchpoints, making sure our messaging is personalised, and making sure we don't miss anything.
A Helpful Tool for Client Retention
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to prioritize different tasks, the home page, the prospect dashboard, the ability to add custom fields to both prospects and accounts, your new(ish) advanced reporting that includes email insights, etc. I also love the support team. They help me out quite a bit and are always very prompt, friendly and informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the very limited email capabilities. I wish that the email template builder was similar to a program like Mailchimp and offered the ability to add headers, call to action buttons and images that aren't file attachments. The limited capabilities often make the emails look not very professional.
I also do not like the limited task types and wish that there was more of a variety such as Facebook realted tasks, Instagram related tasks or even the ability to text prospects. We feel very limited with our task types and when looking at a sequence overview, it is really hard to distinguish between different generic tasks in the same sequence when they all say "generic task".

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a helpful tool for me for client retention as well as marketing new prospects to work with us.
Great Product for Sales and Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is customizable and works effectively. It's been great for sales to automate outreach and for marketing to improve processes around campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach could be more user-friendly. It isn't easy to train on and isn't very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has helped tremendously with customer outreach. Sales and marketing have saved a ton of time by using the Outreach triggers to automate sequences. The analysis and reports are also great.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Editing sequences can be time-consuming since there isn't drag or drop.
-It's not very beginner friendly
- Setting up the advanced features requires a dedicated admin, which not all teams have

We're growing our sales team and looking to increase the number of outbound meetings. We're able to reach many more customers than without outreach.
Being able to track activity also gives us great insights into what works and what doesn't in our outbound strategy.
The benefits are being more efficient with our time due to less manual tasks needing to be done.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to work with your rep on what you're trying to accomplish. Outreach may not be the right tool for everyone since Outreach has robust features.
What I mean by this is figure out what sequences you want, who you want to send these to, the time zones you want to send them in, the types of messages you're going to send to customers, etc...

Great platform with all the functionality you need
What do you like best about the product?
Really love the Outreach platform - has all the functionality we need to be a productive outbound sales team
What do you dislike about the product?
No functionality built out for Twitter yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of potential prospects
High Quality Software with Extremely High Quality Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Any time I have run into an issue our Customer Success Manager (or Outreach Support) have been quick to respond and help find a solution
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor limitations with reporting but most of those can be worked around through a salesforce integration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're verifying our customer outreach methodology and helping to measure effectiveness to train more effectively and grow our business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure all your admins attend all set up meetings and you keep recordings of those meetings. The setup is complex and you will want to reference later as you personalize for sales v customer success
Great marketing tool for medium to enterprise level companies
What do you like best about the product?
Since I've been using Outreach for roughly four years, I've seen them grow the interface to be better and better. The robust token system has been dramatically expanded over time, making it better and better for sending automated emails on a more extensive basis. One of the best features of sequences is the amount of things they've allowed to be added as tasks. You can add calls, emails, linkedin invites, etc. An aspect of the tool that I have only recently taken advantage of is phone number purchasing. As long as your company information is uploaded once, Outreach will handle purchasing phone numbers for your instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an admin, I see the backend of Outreach and help manage integrations. There have been improvements over the last 1 or 2 years, but I still run into usability problems that are not exactly intuitive. A big problem that comes to mind is the bizarre setup for integrating Outreach user profiles with Salesforce user profiles. While connecting Outreach profiles to their Salesforce counterparts, it is impossible to peruse the user list via users' real names using the search option. The search option doesn't work unless you search with the Salesforce user ID, which is frustrating when there are a few hundred users to click through manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has a significant amount of prospect outreach to accomplish each day, but Outreach's features make this far more accessible. Not only does the tool allow us to schedule these tasks, but it allows us to keep our prospecting under a specific format. Having each team member use the same form helps us document and track what is working and what is not, allowing for built-in and easy-to-use a/b testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach is a valuable tool as it allows for a/b testing. It is helpful to have a system in place before onboarding your teams that help them adhere to use guidelines. If everyone is allowed to do their own setup, you will lose a significantly important tool aspect.
Great sales tool to stay in front of top prospects and clients
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and ability to reach out to a large group instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach cannot track specific links. If you have multiple links or attachments, outreach only says someone clicked on a click, and cannot tell you which link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All too often, good prospects or clients "fall through the crack". With sequences, you can make sure to stay in front of them seamlessly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great service team and easy to use.
Outreach is a great sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Outreach everywhere that pops up when you are in Salesforce. I like how easy the templates and sequences are to set up. The AB testing within sequences is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The activity doesn't sync to outreach well. It's in Salesforce, but not all calls/emails sync to the Outreach platform itself. It also takes a very long time to load reports and they often time out before I get info. I don't like how you can't
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving issues with mass communication on an individual level. We also use this for non-traditional sales teams like onboarding and services teams who usually don't have access to sequence tools. It has helped with clients who have gone dark or follow ups to onboading calls as tempaltes and sequences are ready to go and consistent.
Easy to use platform that definitely has plenty of room for growth
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is pretty self-explanatory
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to mass-enroll or mass-edit tasks as the filters/groupings are not as flexible as different fields in a CRM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing prospect communications. Benefits are being able to track engagement rates and A/B testing.
