Life-changing platform for SDR outreach
What do you like best about the product?
Out of all the sales/email automation platforms I've used, Outreach is my favorite because of its power and features. It's the most customizable for email sending, dynamic fields, sequence building, and prospect stages. Our sales team needs a tool like Outreach to effectively prospect and do outbound outreach. My favorite feature is sorting tasks by "most engaged prospects."
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some problems with email deliverability and emails landing in spam, but I'm not sure if it's because of Outreach's servers or our own domain reputation. Outreach's support hasn't been very helpful with addressing our issues or making recommendations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're reaching out to more prospects than ever before with automated emails, calls, and LinkedIn, and tasks help us focus on what's important. We use a combination of manual and automated sequences to add personalization to our campaigns.
Outreach onboarding & usage during the pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach's interface is very easy to interact with and the ability to sequence hundreds if not thousands of contacts is very impressive. Outreach also has a great technical support team that helped us onboard the platform very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to mark campaigns that are transferred for SFDC can be challenging. It would be great if this functionality could be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I have solved using Outreach.io is being able to reach thousands of contacts via the sequence/cadence feature. This has allowed me to save thousands of hours in manual email time.

Great tool to scale your business and manage multiple campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can have multiple sequences with unique analytics per sequence. The real-time results allow you to modify and implement new strategies to overall achieve your goals as a company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations are tough to get a handle on and troubleshooting them does need some expert support at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass outreach to customers all over the world. Having consistent follow-up is helpful to nail down meetings. It allows you to keep working when you fall asleep and helps you appear more productive.
A flexible system for sales teams
What do you like best about the product?
The system is fairly configurable, with many options for call/email sequences & cadences and so many customizations to track!
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is "siloed" - it isn't a system designed for multiple sales reps to share contacts/prospects easily - if Joe has a "sick day", having Phil take over his dials can be a bit of a trick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to organize prospects and dial en masse for a variety of customers using this system - it helps us track easily across a huge spectrum of customers and sequences.
One of the best tools for SDRs
What do you like best about the product?
That Outreach can organize my day so easily. I can cleanly manage my pipeline and sequences.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with our Microsoft Dynamics CRM took a lot of time to set up efficiently for BDRs to use. Setting up the correct sync/refresh intervals was a significant hurdle in the beginning as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to manage daily outreach tasks for sales development. The benefit I realized was how easy it is to collaborate with my other sales colleagues to create templates and sequences to support our company's sales initiatives.

What do you like best about the product?
The panel view that sits aside salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not having choices to pivot cadences. When a prospect is not ready to end, I would like to keep a cadence going through the conversaton.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inbound lead communication, as well as optimization of the time in my day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend and like to see options for cadences. Almost like a tree, if the prospect goes one way, there is a cadence. If they go the other, there is another choice.
Solid team to work with, but consistent product issues
What do you like best about the product?
The people at Outreach are great. We have a great AE and CSM. The Professional Services team and Product team are also top notch. The Outreach team has dedicated resources and has partnered with us to work through systems issues. Once we were able to determine the appropriate path forward, Outreach leaned in and provided excellent support. Working with our AE has been a great experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of the tool is great - when it works. Once WFH became a regular thing, it took far too long to determine how to investigate, identify, and resolve issues. Lots of finger-pointing at first from their support team. Not clear enough messaging to the right people on our side regarding what resources we needed to provide in return.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales tracking and dialer. Ability to template and easily track actions.
Outreach has been a great transition. Reps have been thrilled with engagement features!

An easier way to integrate into Salesforce, there were a lot of moving pieces to make sure mappings are fully synced
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting with tailored messaging and importing data into Outreach from Salesforce.
Great technology, great customer accounts team
What do you like best about the product?
The product itself is slick and strong alignment between user experience and user persona/priorities. In app reporting and Salesforce integration are spot-on!
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few instances of slow Customer Support response times or overly simplistic tips provided, but that's not the norm (I'm really grasping for something negative).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating and streamlining customer communication actions that would otherwise be overly manual or just not happen. Our customers are booking more meetings, our CSMs are more productive, and we now have the reporting ability to prove both!

There is a ton that is helpful. Leading and enabling remote teams was made easy with outreach.

Some bugs occasionally. It's cutting edge software, nothing is perfect.

Increase in rep productivity, increased visibility, email marketing gains with sequences.
