Easy to Setup, Great Automation

What do you like best about the product?
Our BDR team migrated to Outreach. Our team has been able to run campaigns with zero issues for over a year successfully. The integration and stand-up process was relatively straightforward. Recently Outreach has invested significantly in the platform to develop the insights and reporting capabilities. It's very powerful. I also love the responsiveness to vacation/OOO responses so you never have to worry about hitting a prospect five times during their vacation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love a clear delineation as to my main point of contact after logging in to the platform. I'm aware of who the best person to contact is, but it would be nice to have it easy to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach enabled us to automate our campaigns and scale our sales outreach process.

Potentially a great tool if implemented correctly

What do you like best about the product?
We've had a great pre-sales experience with Outreach. They were clear on the timeline, parties that will need to be involved, the scope of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few things. The first one is the reply time. During the pre-sale phase team Outreach was almost instant to reply to any question/request. Once the contract has been signed, the reply time could be weeks. Our account has been handed over several times internally without notifying us. I had to clarify with their support team who should i reach out to now as there was complete silence on the other end.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you'll need a person working almost full-time to keep Outreach up and running, constantly adjusting the sequences and analyzing the performance of campaigns.
The last thing is some basic things like organizing prospects into sequences based on their SF campaign membership is just not available. For a company owned by SF, I feel like it's a big flaw.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have replaced Daktela with Outreach. The plan was to help the BDR team automate their daily tasks, but they mostly used it as a dialer. That happened due to insufficient training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Potentially a great tool, but need to pay special attention to the person/team implementing it on your side. Also think about who will be an admin on your end.

What do you like best about the product?
sequences, reports, integrations, performance metrics, workflows, all-in-1-place
What do you dislike about the product?
some sequencing issues ("active in another sequence" errors), not always easy to find support answers on-the-fly, not easy to differentiate positive vs negative sequence responses

scaling outreach, tracking responses, A/B testing, visualizing data

take time to show/train your users the variety of functions available as there are so many!

Don't Settle for Anything Less

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is easy to use, its UI is intuitive, and it comes with a robust suite of in-app analytics that helps managers and reps understand their efficacy and impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that comes to mind, but AI coachability (guiding reps) is something that can be improved / built upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Guru, we had used Outreach but tried another sales engagement platform. As a rep at the time, it was painful to lose this amazing tool. After using outreach, there is nothing that compares. It came time to re-evaluate our old vendor, and we (I became our SDR leader in that time) knew we had to return to Outreach.

The platform - its ease of use, sequence creation, analytics - are unparalleled.

What do you like best about the product?

Incoming spam calls tend to be distracting.

The occasional hiccup between SFDC <> outreach syncing can be frustrating

Sales bandwidth and efficiency - we love the platform for sequences, tasks, and templated follow up cadence

Best in class for sales outreach by far

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach streamlines and simplifies the complicated workflows of Salesforce or other CRM platforms. It gives you just the features you need to focus on getting sequences and responses done and out the door, and then syncs everything back to your CRM so you have a complete record of activity. Deliverability is super high since it goes through your Outlook. It's also really easy to send as other users in your org on their behalf, and manage a ton of users and their segments and sequences from within your account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Biggest bummer is the lack of the ability to set the default person sequencing as the prospet's owner. Instead every time I sequence for another user I have to manually make sure to change it from myself. I have emailed support and currently you cannot change the default. It takes a lot of time and could really end up badly for someone if they don't remember this critical step. I also don't like that the font choices are "small medium large" and none of them seem to match well with the default Outlook font sizes - they're too big or too small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to do sales outreach with better segmentation and metrics than we would with Outlook alone. We're able to use standard email markeing tools, like setting days and times to send, and scheduling emails in advance. We're able to reach out to more people faster, with very small / limited staff.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has enabled by Sales team to organize and integrate high quantity lead generation into our strategy. We have been able to double our revenue by using the platform and will be keeping Outreach for a long time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach is meant for a one company view, without a lot of customer types. It is a bit difficult to segment customer types for highly tailored product selling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are driving revenue into our pipeline and touching all corners of the market landscape. We have realized the benefits of automation and integration with mass quantities of leads.

Love sequences, templates, snippets, triggers, reporting, crm synch etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex tool to implement but once implemented, a joy to use

Central repository for messaging, one pane of glass to manage all 1:1 comms with customers and prospects (SDR/SALES/CUSTOMER SUCCESS). We now have sentiment analysis on responses, we can A/B test our sequences etc. Too many benefits to write about

Make sure Sales Ops, Marketing Ops and IT are bought in and ready to help you implement the tool.
