Outreach Review
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to pair the crm to your phone and not have to dial each phone number
What do you dislike about the product?
Accessibility - it would be great if there was an app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy organization/keeping track of leads. Sequencing opportunity is great!
There are better sales enablement tools
What do you like best about the product?
It's good at organizing and managing emails, messaging and sequencing. Unfortunately, there is little else I like about it. I like that my management doesn't require me to use Outreach anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few headaches, namely around integration with Salesforce and importing contacts. And if you have any lists you may have made through Excel or other, forget it. I will create my own contact lists, pulling from LinkedIn Sales Nav, other sites and just working own networking efforts. Everything has to run through Salesforce so you'll essentially have to migrate everything twice if you want it in Outreach. The worst part about it is when emails are sent with/via Outreach, they are easily identified as "spam" and blocked from the intended recipients. Open/read rates are poor as a result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The idea is to make my life easier and more efficient with prospect outreach and sequencing, but you have to get through a lot of mess to get there. And once you get there and are sequencing, open rates are nil, on account the emails are often flagged as "spam"
Not the best experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of calling out to prospects
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many kinks, glitches, the syncing feature is my least favorite because its always wrong. Also calls drop frequently, doesnt work well with salesforce
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to my calls which is really nice. I can also set reminders on when to call certain people
Keeping track of sequences is very easy
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a great way to flesh out procedures and connect with individuals. Extremely beneficial when managing a group and excellent for measuring key performance indicators. Having the ability to dive into every user and prospect and determine their level of interaction with your campaign is incredible. This tool was essential for building a solid pipeline of deals to close.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I detest about Outreach is that I don't receive any training from my employer during onboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The program allows me to create lists for specific employees that have certain activities, and once they complete that sequence, I can choose whether they are dropped or added. This ensures that options do not get overlooked and assign specific tasks to enable me to stay in touch with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to use Outreach effectively, you need to familiarize yourself with the software. It's not hard to use the tool, but there's a lot to do to optimize its performance. You'll need to put your all into it!

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a great tool to keep you organized and, keens track of your prospects and automates your daily tasks when setting up emails, the ability to track which customer has opened your emails. I'm sure it has much more features that I haven't discovered yet but I highly recommend this tool to optimize your engagement with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I dislike. I had some calls dropping before or not able to add a contact but support team was able to help me out to fix the issues in a very efficient manner of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
organized daily tasks, the fact that I can automate emails saves me a lot of time and I know exactly when to follow up with customers.
The engagements analytics of my sequences has helped me to identify better my targets.

Great Product - Nightmare Service
What do you like best about the product?
The email activity tracking features are a help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is essentially impossible to get a hold of. I really can't recall the last time I had a support experience this bad. It takes days to get back to. When they finally did reply to me they asked if I could hop on zoom at 1 AM since they moved my support ticket to Asia - for no reason. If you don't have an experienced outreach administrator, good luck figuring things out because they're not going to be much of a help at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize sales workflow with task management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hire an admin because this platform can easily get complicated and you'll be waiting weeks to hear back from a person.
Some quirks and issues, but overall good tool
What do you like best about the product?
A very solid platform for both sending out sales emails and making sales calls. The ability to import from Salesforce makes adding contacts in bulk easy. Sequences keep everything organized.
Their reports have gotten better lately, allowing you to see success metrics and practices across the entire sales org.
Calling feature always works very well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Within email sequences, there are some quirks: inability to re-order steps after contacts pass through, the "A/B testing" on emails never really seems to produce useful insights.
Tasks can sometimes get re-assigned to the wrong sales rep, causing confusion.
Not a great platform for keeping track of longer-term relationships

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you need to contact a prospect and don't want to blindly email or call, this tool is great. Helps track email engagement, records calls, etc.
Outreach to improve your day
What do you like best about the product?
I love creating sequences that can reach all of my clients at once with auto follow up replies and branches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took some time to figure out how to use it on a daily basis, there is a lot of content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to reach hundreds of clients at a time to upsell our benefits and solutions, and Outreach keeps track of where they stand for me.
Most confusing psopect tracking software I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The built in dialer is nice. The fact that I can do pretty much everything from my Gmail account makes life much better in many respects, so I don't need to sign into the outreach system to call people if I need to call them. Very lastly, the outreach univeristy is helpful for me to learn the basics, but it is just the basics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost everything else about the system. The search parameters are only on the name levels.. accounts or "prospects". If I need to find text within a note left by a sales development representative, I can't do that. The most efficient way on a "prospect by prospect" basis is to download their logged calls and their logged tasks, expand everything and then open it in as a csv file and search within the sheet.
There is no distinction between "prospects" (leads) and contacts on the account level so as someone who works with signed clients, I get all the noise on the account level, not just the applicable contacts.
I hate that I can't search for a specific note or task. When I go into calls, it only shows the first line of the notes so I need to drill in to see content, and then when I click back because it was the wrong one, if I had scrolled to where I was, it would reset to the top of the page and I would need to start my manual search over again.

I am being forced to use it, it doesn't solve problems for me and I do not see any real benefit outside of the dialer.
I Wish I Went Salesloft
What do you like best about the product?
I don't like anything specific about outreach which other providers don't offer
What do you dislike about the product?
Their AE lied about functionality and best practices and support has been beyond terrible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has created more problems than they've solved for my team
