Good Product - Support Could be Better
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a tech first sales engagement platform. It has a great look and is user friendly. The tool has allow me to 3x my outputs compare to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the naming is so "modern" it can be counterintuitive. For example - trying to teach someone to clone a sequence sounds a lot more confusing then just saying copy and the tech phobic are really put off
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the biggest is our last SEP was not correctly set up and had to be replaced to protect data, have correct activity reports, etc

Utilization of email sequencing and the analytics behind it

Just like any technology, there are glitches, and the reporting can be off
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilized as a tool for incarcerated women to gain knowledge and expertise in a call center environment
Do not recommend using this software, extremely buggy and has been a huge hassle for our sales team
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the automation with sequences, the ability to easily create and review reports, the simple way of managing tasks and updating accounts with relevant roles for prospects. Outreach is an all-in-one system, with outbound dialing, email, and tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Salesforce leaves much to be desired, tons of issues, and complex setup and upkeep. Customer service is non-existent, if you have more than a surface-level question, you will have a better time finding the answer on Google. The inability to create specific list views and the range of filtering available is very limited. An easier way to sequence an entire account would be fantastic, currently you can only sequence select prospects and when dealing with thousands of accounts this can become messy. Their software is extremely glitchy, having outages more and more often resulting in our reps needing to use their cell phones, rendering our use of outreach obsolete. We find ourselves constantly needing to update permissions and fix broken integrations. The experience started out decently positive but has greatly gone downhill, with both quality of service and lack of support. Buyer Beware.

The ability to automate the entire prospecting process (through sequences) drastically reduces the time it takes to perform email or calling tasks

The customization capabilities could be improved when it comes to iterating off of pre-existing templates. Also some minor UI gaps in navigating to the right settings especially for new users

Oh Outreach....I Wish So Badly We Could Be Friends But You Make It So Hard
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the (somewhat) ease of setting up and managing the Salesforce plugin and the reporting capabilities within SFDC around Outreach data. I also appreciate their content library where you can locate best practices and great virtual chat support when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to maintain Outreach as a newer resource after it was neglected for almost the whole time Visier has had it is a nightmare to be frank. I also hate how often our Outreach customer service and AE change and how hard it always seems to get genuine help from a real person as opposed to always using the virtual chat option which doesn't work for all the types of things I currently need LOTS of help on.

Outreach makes calling prospects easy and seamless.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the FULL visibility that Outreach provides. You know which prospects needs to be called / emailed / etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I dislike about Outreach is that is not very user friendly when trying to mass upload new contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit I have experienced through Outreach is knowing where and what stage all my prospects are when trying to get in touch. You can create and share public reports for fellow coworkers to dive even deeper into prospecting.

Figure out whether you do all personalization upfront and then sort how you want sequences to be made
The Perfect Organized Salesperson!
What do you like best about the product?
Before using Outreach, my team was using Salesloft. It was terrible and a very manual process. I love that with Outreach, I can stay on track to manage my customers with automated emails and sequences efficiently. The notifications are a huge plus for me! I love the forecasting tool that allows me to see the success rate of my emails over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The User Interface isn't exactly friendly. Sometimes, my co-workers and I will spend way too much time figuring out where to access certain features. As the expert on Outreach for my team, I don't feel like an expert.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend utilizing the notifications feature. Most of my team wasn't aware of the feature, so they used multiple software to track when their clients opened an email. I definitely recommend allowing notifications for an easier workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way this application making my work/job organize daily. It helps me keep track of my next step on my client and the companies I'm handling. the sequence is what makes outreach so powerful/ the fact that you can time, automate, and blast various email to specific personas at various b2b companies. most people don't respond after 1 email. By loading multiple folkas into a sequence.
It also acts as crm that keeps track of all communications. we can also use filters to find specific prospects who have been sequenced or if they've been opted out or if they're in a specific stage in a sequence.

What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is not straightforward; it needs a certain level of training for new users to hover and play around with it. there are some features that leave me wanting more. Instances where I'd like to add just a sequenced group but in order to do that, I need to have a reminder to catch the schedule email before it send out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made me solve my issue of working in an unorganized way. Providing me my next steps to do either email or needs to contact clients and provide me tasks daily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strongly recommend this to any sales company that wanted to be more precise and organized when it comes to dealing with clients' emails and calls. This will notify your AE's when is the best time to get in touch with your customers.
