What do you like best about the product?
Outreach helps keep me organized as a salesperson. Anything I need to do for the day is reflected in Outreach . The tool is incredibly user friendly and support is great. The data and analytics are very helpful and are always improving too. It helps to be able to know what is working and what needs to be tweaked, I am always surprised by the reports, including things you wouldn't think to reference like "best time to email".
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some broken workflows that could be improved. For example, when an email bounces and you realize there was a spelling error on the email address, it is a huge pain to correct and get the email resent. The same goes for duplicate contact entries, there is no good way to combine them. These are small things, but I would like to see more improvement to the workflows as these are a big part of a person's day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of the outbound sales motion and processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get it.

Stellar sales engagement tool and strong reporting/insights!

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is an excellent tool for brand new BDRs, seasoned AEs, and everyone in between. The user interface is easy to understand, so it enables a streamlined onboarding process.

Our implementation was seamless, and our management team felt highly supported as we moved onto the platform. We're able to create sequences, templates, and snippets (mini-templates that can be inserted into emails) by persona and vertical. The platform also allows for live call monitoring and syncs with our CRM in near-real-time.

The major benefit to Outreach is the highly granular reporting and analytics behind the scenes that helps our team to optimize for the best messaging, time of the day to call, and CTAs to boost reply rates through A/B testing. Our CSM is stellar, as well. Major fan of the platform and the entire Outreach team!
What do you dislike about the product?
A major improvement would be an auto-refresh for the live call monitoring so that we don't need to click "reload" every few seconds to see if new calls have shown up. (This became a greater need as we've gone remote over the past year!)

Additionally, it would be helpful if Outreach provided intelligent recommendations for subject lines, CTAs, and ways to A/B test to improve our open and reply rates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to accomplish two main goals: (1) Enhance our insights and reporting to improve reply/open rates with our target accounts and (2) Establish a task-based daily workflow for the reps to help the team remain efficient as we scale.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has allowed me to automate repetitive tasks that instantly doubled my activity and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downsides to using Outreach, but a struggle has been getting tenured sales reps to adapt to the latest techniques or modify their workflow to take better advantage of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A big problem Outreach has solved for my team is realizing when it's time to shift gears... The ability to see interactions with email campaigns and calling attempts provides insight on when one method is/isn't working and allowing us to change focus and try something different. Too many prospects I've chased for years, without knowing if they ever opened, read, clicked on an email I've sent... Now I'm able to quickly determine where my time is better spent, allowing me to shift to more productive activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of what you "spend half your day doing" ... Watch Outreach automate that, freeing you up for more productive activities.

What do you like best about the product?
Scalability of touches for prospects. Ability to tweak sequences as more data is available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard emails are pretty repetitive and I see a lot coming into me from companies trying to sell me that are almost identical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Penetrating new markets. Scaling up touchpoints with limited sales people.

Skyrocketing Sales!

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to navigate and clean. It integrates easily with our other software and provides clarity for our management team. Outreach makes it easy to reach out to more customers all at once. The idea of a virtual sales rep has allowed our reps to be in front of customers more and less time in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company is still new to Outreach, so the setup and figuring out best practices can be tricky.
The hardest part is figuring out how to best create a sequence that will get our ideal customer to purchase equipment from us. It takes patience to figur out which emails are more intriguing and which ones lead to more booked appointments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has opened so many doors for our sales team. They can follow up more frequently with customers, reach out to more new customers and stay organized with their daily tasks. Our reps have loved being able to keep in touch with customers who aren't currently looking to purchase anything. Outreach allows them to maintain that relationship without having to put too much thought into it. Because of this, these customers are coming back and buying more from us.
Outreach has also increased our new business sales. Our team has been able to contact more new customers and set more appointments with the help of Outreach.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create sequences and automate specific emails. I use the extension daily, particularly the integration with SF.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am running through 100s of outreach tasks daily for my sales leads. Also I receive a lot of bounce backs. I like that I can see when a prospect has read my emails and that is when I am most likely to follow up on linked in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can communicate product updates, and features automatically with out having to edit a manual email
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When you have a sequence with a combination of manual and automated emails be sure to stagger your accounts, so you do not have to run through 100s of manual email tasks in one day.

UX Lags Behind Salesloft

What do you like best about the product?
Has every feature needed to streamline my prospecting process. The fantastic customer support team has quickly resolved any issue or question that I've had at any time, with minimal wait at that!
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit more clunky than Salesloft and somewhat less intuitive in my opinion. Very similar though, so if you've used one it wont be hard to pick up the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating my prospecting flow so I can spend time during off-hours researching, building sequences, and selecting contacts. That way when it's time to start my daily prospecting, I'm able to focus on doing actual outreach by just completing tasks and not being bogged down with finding information in-between contact attempts.
