Can't imagine outbound without Outreach!
What do you like best about the product?
As a sales rep, I spend almost all my time in Outreach! It's incredible for automating my sales outreach - as the title suggests, I can't imagine how sales reps get their job done effectively without a tool like Outreach. There's so much functionality - from task management and sequencing, to templates and calendar scheduling, to powerful reporting and insights. Pretty much everything you need to get your outbound efforts off and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit clunky and confused to navigate at times. In particular, I'm not a fan of how small the window is to send emails when moving through tasks. I find myself wanting to use the Outreach extension in Gmail for additional formatting (not the worst thing though).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach makes my life as a sales rep so much easier. Automating all my outbound activity (emails, calls, LI), surfacing up account insights, tracking engagement and metrics, etc. Templates/snippets make it simple to do personalized prospecting at scale. Seamless integrations with Salesforce and Zoominfo make it a one-stop shop for both lead generation and pipeline velocity. Great for performance management across the team as well, to track activity on a daily/weekly basis.
Outreach is my life 9-5 days a week
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to organize and manage multiple emails all in one place. Outreach has helped me complete processes that the matter of minutes that would have otherwise taken hours or days if I were to do it manually. If I did not have outreach I would not be able to operate and be at the level of success I'm at right now. I think the most crucial aspect to think about is the fact you are able to automate not one single email, but a whole sequence of emails until you achieve the main objective of getting responses to the emails your sending.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mainly my fault, there are some functions that come back as failed and each grouping of prospects has to be in specific formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving problems of managing emails efficiently and streamlining the number of emails I can send in a day. The main benefits would be email automation and email management with prospects. By using Outreach I'm able to save a lot of time by having prewritten templates that have custom fields that automatically input information that I organize beforehand. With the different custom fields its able to make each email unique and requires the least amount of customization when sending generic emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend thinking about how much time you currently take when sending out emails and think about the number of emails you send out as well. If you're interested in being able to reach out to more prospects or applicants or customers then this is the tool for you.
Pretty solid sales platform with room to improve
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has all the right features you need to create and use an effective business development program. The sequence, template, and snippet features seem basic but are done really well and make workflows a lot easier and save a lot of time. The engagement tracking features are a plus, as well as the ability to have certain events get triggered based on the engagement of a prospect. The calling feature is pretty robust as well, haven't encountered very many issues there. It also integrates seamlessly with a lot of the other tools we use like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. This is all from the perspective of someone in a BDR role, so I can't speak to the features for closing roles and customer success.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some clunky UX issues, like you're not able to create a one-off email from the quick actions page. There are some filters for organizing prospects and accounts that I'd like to see added, and you don't have the same filters available for prospects and accounts as well. Additionally, I'd like to be able to see the actual engagement score of prospects, rather than having to scroll through their activity log and count up for myself how many opens or clicks they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes our biz dev process much easier and saves a ton of time. I'm finding new tools to use even 10 months into using the platform and only getting more adept with using it. Main benefits are saving time and effort.
outreach review
What do you like best about the product?
i like that it's pretty easy to use for the most part, I like the tracking features
What do you dislike about the product?
i don'tlike that you can't see all your analytics in an easy to find place, I don't like how you can't log linkedin replies it's just "other", I don't like that you have to go back to the 360 view to find all the opens/clicks, it's not that easy to use...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reaching out to prospects that have never heard of GoodData before, I'm using it for outbound activity
Outreach Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the email sequence building and how you can send auto and manual emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how it's not as intuitive as other platforms. Training is definitely a must.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have to send follow-up emails, and it does that for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent tool; make sure you are provided some training since the interface can be a bit confusing.
Outreach is easy to use and allows you to follow up with new prospects on a consistent cadence
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create sequences that auto-populate salesforce fields, allowing your sales team to move quicker and deploy messaging that seems custom.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data and reporting could be more robust. You don't get a lot from their analytics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistently following up with prospects, making sure every prospect is receiving multiple touch points.
Fantastic for outbound prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
outreach is super slick for managing cadences, setting up "sequences", managing contacts, and generating meetings. Our company evaluated SalesLoft but thought Outreach was a superior product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's so much you can do (and so many analytics) it can take a few weeks to get up to speed and a few months to become really proficient, but eventually once you have the hang of it it's a huge time saver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is inefficient contacts with customers, and this tool helps us reach customers at scale while still personalizing the messaging to each individual or account. I don't think I could reach as many prospects or customers without Outreach.
Outreach is the best
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive, quick, easy to use. It makes follow-up and tasks a total breeze for the SDR team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the setup was initially easier. There is definitely a learning curve, and the actual setup to connect with Salesforce can be complicated. Additionally, texting is implemented but a bit clunky -- you aren't able to use your own phone number, and messages are housed only within Outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and automated follow-up. I realize both are vital to keeping a team successful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate to use it! It's an incredible platform that continues to improve.
The best sales engagement platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about the platform. It has all the capabilities and automation needed for making the lives of SDRs easy. The best I like about Outreach is its ability to automatically pick local numbers as of prospects when dialed. I don't have to worry about what number I should be calling based on their location. It gives me an instant view of the performance of my sequence, open/click rate ability to perform A/B test, and gives me complete control over my activities. I can either create a manual or completely automate tasks based on my discretion. It picks up the time zone of the prospects so I need not worry about ringing them at the wrong time and suggests the tasks to be performed at the apt time of the day. Totally recommend it to anybody who's still living in the world of manually tracking and managing daily outreach engagement activities. I have been using it for 5 years now and was never disappointed. Just go for it and you will 5X results!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about the platform. However, it would have been better if it didn't have the limitation of adding just 2 mailboxes per user. However, that's not a major deal-breaker, that doesn't impact in any other ways. Their Email support is slow at times so they need to work on it as at times they reply to your logged tickets in 5-7 days and when we look for the resolution on performance of the product, we expect them to get back in a few hours than in days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It automates my daily prospecting activities be it sending out email at the right time, getting reminded of my activities based on the sequences I built or reports on open, click, bounce rates etc.
