Slow connectivity with Salesforce, spastic interface, and not user-friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Taking notes in outreach for easy personalization in calls/emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
User-interface, slow connectivity with Salesforce, over-complication of the sales process, far too many functionalities that 95% of the team doesn't bother to use and an overwhelming amount of notifications/actions popping up on the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales process. Nothing significant that the competitors can't already do.
Not great but not terrible
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not responsible for making my own sequences, so I can't really speak to how easy it is to make sequences. From what I understand, it's pretty simple, but if you're going for the "spray and pray" method, it can be pretty complicated to code a sequence by persona and change the content of emails based on that. I mainly use it for cold calls and I would say it's pretty easy to learn and use on a daily basis. It's not the best, but the UI makes it super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
These are all little things at the end of the day, but as a salesperson, volume for calling is pretty important and any repetitive, administrative task multiplied by all the prospects I have to touch on a daily basis, it can become a hassle. but I wish there was a way for the system to automatically log call dispositions for me. I don't like that you can't undo things you've done (for ex, if I accidentally skip a step, I can't do it.) Also, when I'm searching prospects or companies, it's super annoying that I have to reclick into companies on the left side, after I've searched under the "prospect" tab, if that makes sense. Again, super small, but makes a huge difference in the amount of time I spend on Outreach, NOT making calls or making touches, doing small non-sales tasks. I also don't like that a sequence has set times that emails are sent out for all people using the sequence. (for ex, 10-15 people could be utilizing 1 sequence at a time, and the sequence isn't able to take into account time zone differences).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is the automated nature of the sequences and I feel like it's pretty easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'm not sure if it's the way my company implemented Outreach, but the connection of information between Salesforce and Outreach is absolutely horrid. Especially with cold call tracking. I have to manually sync info in Outreach up into Salesforce. It takes like 15 extra seconds, but multiply that by the amount of new prospects I'm calling on a daily basis, it's super annoying.
Easy email campaigns and sequences!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set up all my sales sequences and link them to my Gmail email account. Outreach takes a lot of the manual processes out of emailing clients and helps me stay on top of my daily tasks. I like how easy it is to login with OKTA and see everything from one screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many templates in my organization...I would be great if my sales org would streamline templates with our marketing team to create a formal sales processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to stay on top of my client engagements and not forgetting about important follow-ups. I am able to manage everything from my Outreach and follow up with my clients in a timely manner.
Outreach allows the sales dev team to be more effective.
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach makes it easy to manage tasks and ensure prospects get followed up with in a timely manner. Its an excellent tool for sales development teams, enabling reps to be more effective in managing a multi-touch strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach could have better reporting and analytics capabilities. Providing more clear results on high performing sequences and ranking them based on success.

Reach your contacts at scale
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach helps me reach out to my contacts at scale, allowing me to schedule emails, organize communication that needs to go out in different styles and sequencing ways. It allows me to track my client activity, understand my own activity and following up with the help of insights and metrics from the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless contacts are already in the system, I have to go and manually search and add all of them which takes more of my time than usual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out to contacts at scale, tracking activity, following up with contacts and getting more organized in terms of communicating to my contacts.

Recommended product for outreach with scale, mass client communication, activity tracking and general communication organization.

It's very easy to organize prospecting tasks into sequences, and share insight on most effective messaging & sequences
Pretty Solid
What do you like best about the product?
Obviously how easy it makes outreach (haha) cadences and sequences are incredible with Outreach! And in a perfect world, it would always work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach can be super buggy at times (still sending emails/creating call tasks when prospects have been finished from sequences). Also, my team has noticed that the call connectivity is super poor and prospects have a hard time hearing us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obviously just organization and overall cadences and prospect sequencing. Definitely realized much more efficiency and organization. Activity tracking is also a big one.
Outreach - your best/worst friend
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Outreach- but it’s sequencing is unlike anything else out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is incredibly high. Once you get used to it, it’s worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to manually send 10+ emails per client! I can rely on outreach to do most of the work for me once I set up the sequencing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can get a team to help you, do. Outreach is tough, but an incredible tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Having tasks lined up for biz dev agents makes it easy for everyone to know what they're supposed to do, when they're supposed to do it, and the context around that potential customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The voice component is not extremely intuitive or reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our entire biz dev department relies on Outreach to stay on top of prospects and potential leads. We've noticed an uptick in conversion and retention.
If you are in sales and you do not have Outreach... you are totally missing out.
What do you like best about the product?
Massive gains in productivity when used properly to its full extent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could perform salesforce actions in Outreach so I don't even have to deal with salesforce -- But not sure that something like that would even be possible.

Keeping track of all of my accounts and leads.
