Outreach is the reason I'm successful

  • October 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use it to customize my workday! I can use Outreach to create sequences, to add people on Linkedin, to call people, and to email people. This tool has helped me stay on top of my prospecting and allowed me to become very successful in my sales role. I think about life without Outreach and I can remember the headaches I used to get trying to juggle it all!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a hard time with Outreach when it goes down. This has happened a few times and it has thrown me off my day. There are also times when it's pretty slow. I have to wait for things to load a lot of the time and that gets pretty time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has helped me track how many people are engaging in my emails, calls, etc. I know how to target specific people when I am using this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get Outreach if you are looking to improve your sales teams! This allows reps to be on top of their work!

Great for lead generation

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is wonderful at keeping all your leads and prospecting organized. You can create sequences for various groups and automatically send out emails on specified days.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have an integration built out with Salesforce, and sometimes the information does not sync over perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all your prospecting activity organized so you know exactly when you contacted someone. Great to keep detailed notes about each prospect

With proper training, this tool can have a significant impact on your workflow

What do you like best about the product?
The features I use the most are snippets + templates (and the associated analytics with each). I am working on getting more in the habit of using Outreach to manage my day to day activities (instead of in Salesforce/google calendar) because the integration is very seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could connect outreach to our single sign-on but that may be specific to my company, not outreach. Almost every other software I use on a daily basis is connected to single sign-on (we use one login) and that makes it very easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of hundreds of prospective customers in various stages of the sales cycle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn this tool for maximum efficiencies

Not for Account Based Marketin

  • October 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Of course, automating emails is great and it's very simply to set-up templates or emails in a sequence.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no reporting that provides insights into the data from an account level. Business Development and Sales benefit greatly from seeing a broad "picture" of what is being most opened and clicked at a particular company. That allows you to tailor messaging around that. Account Based reporting does not exist in this application, therefore no insight into valuable information for sales.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated my emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for reporting, geared more toward account based marketing and selling, this application does not provide that. If you're looking to automate emails and more concerned about follow-up to individuals, maybe you're mostly B2C, then the application is fine for you.

Accessing a potential scope of study

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has a nurtured and compatible team with Salesforce, Linkedln and Zoom. It saves me time in communication with other people, there is a period of time where I send several emails at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
CRM tend to weaken if you do not work with Salesforce, ideally, this type of links becomes sufficiently trained whether or not it is used with this integration. The calling function is adequate but if Outreach uses cookies, it automatically saves time its function renew.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every company is maintained thanks to its sales, much of this development is left to Outreach because we send emails where we get positive reports and comments that transform it into strategies with great results. We capture potential customers where we identify expansion opportunities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Creating and maintaining a stable communication we achieve with Outreach is an email software, a sales door that opens successfully for the purposes of companies. Expert in keeping thousands of customers interacting with their best proposals by providing fully trained tools.

The one stop shop

  • October 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how oytreach is a one stop shop for all of your communications. It acts as an agenda, outlining all your tasks, as well as the place to see emails, calls, and prospect engagement. It is the best organizer!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes outreach can act a little funky, such as when new contacts take awhile to be pulled in to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No serious problems. I have realized that this platform is so helpful because it directly integrates with Salesforce, therefore keeping all accounts organized and parallel on both platforms.

Boost your Growth

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows me to track open corridors, make reminders of all the tasks that are of the utmost importance and I have to finish on time. Your synchronization with Salesforce even Drift is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve the sending of emails because it has happened that I change the size of the font, the style of colors and space can be distorted from the view of the recipient.Add new integrations such as Hubspot CRM is never too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Outreach because we connect with millions of people through pre-written templates and it is best that they can enter their names, titles and these emails will remain personal. We apply it mainly to our sales perspective projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We know our customers thanks to Outreach because we get a history and manage many contacts. Previously we tried to use Yesware, Contactually and none can be compared with the efficiency that Outreach shows with the company.

Great for enterprise selling - never ending followups :)

  • October 18, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's marketing automation for sales people. Think Marketo for Salespeople. Love how we can set up playbooks for leads (inbound or outbound) and make sure we get a clear yes or no.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike, more of a caveat - there is a learning curve. As a sales ops or manager, you'll not only need to learn how it works, but need to do the heavy lifting of understanding your customer, how to message or approach them, and then training your sales team so they follow a clear protocol.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Never ending followups.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand your customer and prospect personas. Build your messaging accordingly. Also, train your sales team on how to use the system!

If you dont use Salesforce its great.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to run leads through an automated sequence. Tracking of emails being opened, and the recording of calls. The ability to AB split test different steps in my plays.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is designed to do everything in Outreach. I prefer to spend my day in Salesforce which is our company system of record. The popup window in Outreach is Clunky. I find myself going into Outreach for data that should be in Salesforce. Functionality within Gmail is lacking compared to other similar tools.

I think my biggest dislike comes with the dialer. This really seems like an email tool, with a dialer added on at the last minute as a good idea. It lacks the simple ability to click to call inside of Salesforce. You do not have the ability to call from from a view or list inside of Salesforce. No email functionality in Salesforce. Everything is done through the frustrating Outreach pop up bar. I have to hop back and forth between Salesforce and Outreach to view my reports because the data doesn't live in Salesforce it lives in Outreach. Everything seems to live in Outreach which is frustrating when so much of my day is spent working out of Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach allows me to effectively run a set of plays through its sequences. It is amazing when it comes to blasting emails at mass. Very similar to a marketing automation tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research and due diligence on whats available in the marketplace.
