Outreach serves our needs just fine and is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The templates and snippets are easy to create and share with the team - Then they can use them right from their email (we use GMail, so we have the Chrome extension). I like the previews on the right side so you know exactly how it will look when auto-populating information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with extra training from the Outreach team, it can be difficult to get buy-in from Account Executives on how Outreach can work for sellers. The outbound team gets great use out of the sequences, but we struggle with adoption for sellers. I also wish that importing Prospects into Outreach from Salesforce was easier/more intuitive. Right now it's very manual, which could be why not all the sellers use it as much as we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reaching the right contacts at massive scale through Outreach. As long as your messaging is right for the persona you're reaching, you will see responses at a scale far beyond what you'd get without using Outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you want to be able to analyze calls easily? Consider using an additional service that records and analyzes calls. Call review through Outreach is not very simple and does not record in every state. For email tracking, mass outreach, templates, etc., Outreach does just fine.

effectiveness in synching with salesforce and the communication between the two seems to always lag

What do you like best about the product?
I love outreaches task workflow and also their sequences. It allows you to set your workflow and fly through high volumes of activity without sacrificing quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the link with salesforce. We have some things that don't sync over well. Also the opportunity management in it is spotty along with good areas for note taking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving automated sequence problems with outreach. We used a very high touch manual method before in salesforce tasks and it was so hard to keep up and manage. Outreach simplified everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial it. It is a very powerful software that can most likely ease your workflows or your reps.

Can be slow, a lot a calls drop. Often goes down for hours at a time

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Outreach are the daily task logs. This is especially nice for employees new to B2B sales. It provides outline and direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a lack of awareness to bounced emails or reasoning for failed sequencing. When first using, it was unclear why my emails were bouncing or why I was being throttled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It clearly helps with productivity and contact to customers. With its' auto-logging into our CRM, it helps reps keep track of their activity with little extra work to them. This provides clarity to the rest of the team and lessens the confusion when territories are re-arranged.

Great for a growing/changing SDR organization.

Sales enablement and the ability to empower sales reps to automate their our email nurtures.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't the ability to automate system notifications for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales enablement and content/narrative control for go to market strategy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be certain with reporting requirements. Reporting for Outreach is very limited and if your plan is to monitor sales performance and activity, be prepared to have to manipulate the data in order to learn what's most important to your business.
Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea of sequences in Outreach. Makes prospecting easier to organize and integrate different types of touchpoints within the process. Outreach helps keep you accountable to make sure you're staying up to date with your daily tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach has a very strict rule on "bounced" e-mails (which makes sense) but I've run into issues when not having 100% correct e-mails. Once you hit a certain amount of bounces per day, Outreach will block you from sending any more out for 24 hours. If you have good e-mails, not a problem. But if you have a mass outreach strategy and don't have perfect e-mails it will be hard to track success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has automated our mass outreach e-mail strategy and helped us implement a new strategy for higher level prospects. There are many different types of sequences and touchpoints we are using for different events and prospecting.

I love how it has helped our sales team and our CSM. It has created more efficient use of their time so they can better prospect for leads and schedule time seamlessly

Nothing. This product is great! I hope they release new features soon

I like that I can easily sequence my prospects and very easily remember who to call/when.

I dislike the fact that it seems hard to navigate sometimes.
