Best tool out there if you ask me
Incredible product
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has been a huge game changer in helping out team manage tasks and track activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve had a few problems with call quality and dropped calls but overall has been pretty reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to personalize outreach at scale has been extremely helpful to us.
Sales User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
User experience is very easy and intuitive. Customer support response time is very timely. Seamless integration with Gmail. I can manage multiple email sequences/campaigns very easily with reminders for specific actions and items. Outreach can be a way to manage your day to day action items and automate much of the outbound messaging to an account/company based on whatever filters you'd like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sending single bulk emails can be difficult to navigate. To my knowledge does not integrate with Freshsales. Honestly don't have many negative things or features I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach can be a place for managing email campaigns, action items, tasks, and day to day activities. This helps me say organized and limit the number of things that slip through the cracks. I can do more out-bounding and prospecting by having it run in the background of my other duties.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product has come a long way. I use to not like using it, but once I because versed in how to properly use its features I was able to vastly up my efficiency and productivity.
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Automates follow up - the 2nd, 3rd touch point gets the best response, but also requires the most effort to manually send - Outreach solves that!
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting of messages can be a bit wonky sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated our Inbound workflow to connect quickly and efficiently. It's like folks are scheduling demos unabated
Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create sequences, templates, snippets, and calls all in one place.
The view for recent activity view is way better than Salesforce and I regularly use this probably close to 100 times a day.
Setting follow up calls or tasks is a life saver. Especially because you can change the priority and how it notifies you. The daily digest email is cool too so I can see how my day looks from a prospecting prospective and reflect on my activity from the previous day.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty freakin awesome, but if I had to improve something it would be to make some of the analytics reporting more robust. For example. I wish I could sort my prospects by engagement and easily see a preview of the engagement activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes me a prospecting machine. Saves an insane amount of time and makes it super easy to set follow up reminders. The sequences also keep sales reps from giving up too soon or wondering when and how they should follow up.
Scales your prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach provides a scalable way to reach your addressable market
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of bells and whistles to Outreach which I'm sure I am not utilizing- it would be great for the tool to make recommendations within the app of other features that I should use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to send targeted, relevant emails at scale that net a higher return of responses, meetings & opportunities if I were to single-handedly write each individual email or send out a spammy, mass-blast email that is not customized to the recipient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Outreach for customized, prospecting emails at scale
Nice application, less support
What do you like best about the product?
The application integrates seamlessly with Salesforce and has lot of flexibility around controlling the items to sync, frequency, direction etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lot of unknowns, setup might be overwhelming. SSO and integration with email servers could have been better and different than just accessing the SMTP servers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales automation. Sequences solve the touch point for salespersons.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate the security concerns first than what the tool itself can do.
Still the best sales automation solution
What do you like best about the product?
Simple administrative management of prospects and sequences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports suffers, though most can be done through the CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to create a highly scalable inside sales org.
Great for BDR and MDR teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like out you can create and paste snippets into emails. Also love using the Outbox feature and see which prospects are the most engaged, which helps me prioritize who to reach out to and spend more time on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Salesforce isn't perfect, like most integrations. Sometimes it maps the wrong contact from Salesforce, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an AE, I work mostly inside of Salesforce and opportunities, but when I do prospect, it's very helpful to prioritize prospects who seem to have the most engagement. Sequences and snippets are great for time savings too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Let me know what specific links in sequences prospects clicked on
Buggy with poor customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can build sequences of emails that are pretty customizable. Can integrate to Gmail and to Salesforce which is useful. There are also some useful reporting functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is abysmal. Once you're out of the support that you've paid for, it's like you get dropped off of a cliff and the only help that you'll get will be extremely slow (hours to days), and in the form of an article sent your way. If you call them for support they direct you to email. For a system that's so buggy, they should have better customer support to keep people happily using their system.
Outreach is very buggy. There are always issues with speed and with prospects / sequences updating after a change is made. Changes made to sequences or prospects often take minutes to reflect. I often find myself making a change, then switching to some other task while I wait for Outreach's servers to refresh so that I can finally see if the change has taken effect.
Reporting could be more specific. For example you can't really drill down into Account level reporting. For someone who spends most of his day in Outreach instead of Salesforce, this would be very useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving email outreach and sales/bd/marketing cadences.
We're seeing our emails going out to the people that we've designated, reaching a large audience and getting metrics based on that like open rates, click rates, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely check out some other options. Work the trial that they give you to see how easy it is for you to use. The system is definitely not very intuitive.
You'll have to pay for your customer service. If you've gone through your paid hours, all you'll get is your customer "success" rep telling you that you're out of hours and that you'll need to file a ticket. Expect to wait hours *at least* to get a response, and expect that response to be in the form of an article from their website.
