Decent

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features for Outreach is the automation of tasks. I think this tool is best used for the SMB segment or BDRs since it's good for mass, but tailored outreach
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it had fewer bugs when integrated with Outlook. We went through a long period of time when our reps couldn't just use the auto Sync Feature of Outreach to sync with Salesforce

It was a really slow roll out to reps and we found it hard to do change management. I found that Outreach was not super intuitive at the beginning so we had to do quite a few coachin sessions. Prior to Outreach, I used Yesware and that felt like a more brainless and seemless system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiencies for reps

The ability to easily organize our prospecting cadences

Awful support, terrible sync with salesforce

  • August 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It sends emails decently well. It can schedule around major holidays. It can dynamically insert html through its custom variables.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the product's inability to sync things properly over to salesforce. There's no bulk update or bulk sync function. Support isn't willing to help in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Send emails to prospects

Time Saver but Not Intuitive

  • August 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to send out mass, personalized emails on a daily basis. As well as snippets/templates according to a particular conversation that is had.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automated emails that are sent out without my control, as well as amount of times an automated email has been sent out after I have already had contact with a potential client. Blowing up their inbox unnecessarily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more wasting time sending out emails on a daily basis, everything is ready to be sent with one click.

    Computer Software

Very innovative software that is at times difficult to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the integration with Salesforce and the integration plugin with google chrome that allow me to move quickly between the applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't know why it is so difficult to stay logged in sometimes. It logs me out a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely saves me tons of time when making phone calls and sending emails. The sequencing feature is great.

LIFE-SAVING Sales Software

  • August 18, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It was designed for what a salesperson does every day, removing the repetitive tasks and teeing you up for success with just the right amount of automation as well. I used snippets all the time in gmail as well. I was a huge fan of the scripting of custom parts of sentences within emails as well - wicked smart stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the lack of sophistication around complex list building, related to how many touches a person had. The rules features were promising, but not quite delivering what we needed for success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've solved and cut out 60 to 75% of the all the wasted time in a sales person's prospecting efforts. ADRs could crank out 100 calls in a day with emails, no sweat.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start using it right away, and be systematic about how you use tags for tracking.

Outreach has been instrumental in our path from startup to game-changer.

What do you like best about the product?
Having a heavy hand in our outbound sales development team's motion for an extended amount of time, Outreach I would rank #1 in the list of sales tools that helped us scale. The interface for creating email sequences and the ease in which you can upload contacts and sync with your CRM makes using the tool initially incredibly easy - but don't fall into the notion that it's a simple tool Through the analytics, A/B testing, custom fields, and custom triggers, we were able to take our implementation of Outreach to extreme lengths. We're now leveraging their dialer to an immense level as well - you don't really need a tool for sales development outside of Outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will preface this by saying these are minor in comparison to the likes, but I do have a few gripes. First is the customization of the account and contact panes - it's pretty limited based on only the panes they provide you. I could do with a simple text field that's a basic notepad that syncs with a text field in my CRM - we'd leverage that immensely. Lastly, the tool isn't the best for having a large number of people calling through the same list like other tools might be. You must assign every individual calls instead of telling a number of people to dial a list and have the tool ensure they don't step on each others' toes. You also can't pull a list in SFDC and make a 'list' that stays up to date inside Outreach like you can in other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm scaling my team's email, call, and social outreach with this tool to an immense degree. We're also solving post demo follow up by creating custom triggers in both Outreach & SFDC with sequences to match in order to ensure each prospect gets sequenced with relevant content post-demo. One large benefit is A/B comparisons as well, not just between templates within a sequence, but sequence vs. sequence - the analytics Outreach provides makes tracking simple and allows us to make objective, data-based decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've considered a vast amount of products and their implementations for scaling the outbound function through email and phone. Go with Outreach, and make sure you leverage their wealth of knowledge on the outbound function as a whole - they're experts. The people and their expertise is just as valuable as the tool.

Prospecting made easy

  • August 16, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is an easy to use platform. It is perfect for task management and prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how it is not backward compatible with SFDC. What updates in SFDC automatically updates in Outreach but what is update in Outreach does not always update in SFDC
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am all over the place every day. Between taking multiple calls and sending hundreds of emails
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product. Easy to learn. Love the task feature and the sequence feature

A few rough patches in onboarding, but a robust tool

  • August 16, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great tools for a BDR or SDR. Really robust emailing and sequencing options as well as a great dialer.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a rough time getting it all synced up and working. We also ran into a lot of issues getting alias's and multiple mailboxes to sync and work inside the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to get a better tool to run outbound campaigns on. Definitely great at that as well as task management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool, just be ready to work out a few integrations.

Solid tech, terrible support team

  • August 16, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach makes it really easy to send bulk emails, and isn't permissions based so it is perfect for sending large numbers of cold emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The outreach support team is intentionally obtuse and unhelpful. Not only do they not seem to know their own product, but they will do everything they can to avoid answering questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most other email service providers are permission based, which is great for opted in emails, but don't help with cold emails. By allowing us to send cold emails on a bulk basis, we've been able to expand our sales and marketing efforts quite easily.
