Outreach is great
What do you like best about the product?
I like that outreach manages which tasks you have to handle daily and I love a lot of their bulk and automated functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can't compile contact lists very easily. If you want to create a list to call you can't really do it efficiently unless it's a task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm in sales and use it to keep track of prospects. I find the benefit in outreach by not letting anyone fall through the cracks. Outreach is very good at reminding you what you have going on

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I enjoy most about outreach is it's synchronization with salesforce. Lightning fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not enjoy the failed/bounced section. I feel it is not well organized.

I dislike the lack of multi user touch functionality. It would be helpful to have multiple people engaged on a sequence. I also dislike the lack of high level or deeper support. Outreach University only covers very basic information. There are users who have been using outreach for years now and often when I reach out for help, I am given basic answers that I already know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving a lot of Salesforce problems with outreach. Salesforce is clunky and does not have an effective workflow. Outreach has allowed the time spent in outreach to be minimized.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has completely changed our approach in prospecting. Creating pathways for our prospects through Sequences allows us to maintain the right amount of activities and touches for ultimate conversion. Our team is more aligned in messaging from our Marketing team and can test what is working vs what is not. We could not be as effective or successful without the use of Outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we have had with Outreach is more making sure our integration with Salesforce is kept up to date. Feature wise, being able to have shared sequences where you can assign steps to different user and mapping call notes from Outreach to Salesforce are the only things currently on our wishlist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting more out of our teams with maximizing touches, utilizing different tasks, and analyzing the data to increase the more effective touches. Our marketing team has become more aligned on the messaging our Sales Development team uses, helping us to create content and core sequences based on our buyer personas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach requires you to live more out of their platform than you may be used to if you currently complete tasks in your CRM. However, once you accept that, your team will be able to move over and mass complete tasks easily. You can use your CRM for maintaining data, notes, accounts, but complete all tasks in Outreach. It optimizes our power hours and we could not outbound as effectively without it now.
User-friendly and straightforward
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about the Outreach platform is how easy it is to create and personalize emails that you blast out to your audience. It's simple to upload your list and then blast away.
What do you dislike about the product?
You still have to be careful that your list is authentic and up to date. From my experience, they can't prevent you from becoming blacklisted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's far easier to reach my prospects with a personalized email using Outreach and know which ones have opened them.
Outreach - Worth the $$
What do you like best about the product?
I first used this as a IC SDR and I quickly saw an increase in my quota attainment and the speed at which I attained it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process and learning curve was a little tough but I think once that initial speed bump is out of the way it scales quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SDR/BDR Footprint to follow up on leads/cold outbound work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The earlier you can get someone using this in their time with your company the quicker they will ramp. I think this should be a day 2 training product. SDRs are able to get moving weeks faster than with out Outreach.

Mass import of contacts from SFDC disabled. This required a CSV upload which can be time consuming to populate manually.

Outreach - Simple & Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is super simple to use. As a transactional SaaS sales rep, my ability to quickly get work done directly impacts my ability to hit my weekly/monthly goals. Outreach’s simple email tracking, templates, and snippets feature allows me to quickly respond to customers and keep them accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a lot to outreach outside of the basics - I haven’t explored or used the more advanced features yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking open rates, reminders to follow up on emails not responded to, scheduling emails, templates and snippets for fast email creation. All wonderful tools helping me get work done quicker.
