What do you like best about the product?
It makes the workflow process more efficient and takes out the work of who to contact next

Tries hard and useful, but has major shortcomings

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is an excellent prospecting tool and it has a number of positive features, but many of these can be buried by an overwhelming issue that plagues this program. The templates and sequencing functions are robust and with some dev time integrate very well with Salesforce, simplifying user workflow. The ability to quickly call or send emails from within Salesforce using the plugin is nice. Decent scheduling tools and I enjoy being able to quickly search for, bucket, and sort prospects. Great reporting tools, on everything from the best performing emails to the ideal times to call - makes it easy to push data-driven decisions. One feature I really like is that it automatically updates and adds contact info if someone replies from say a personal email - I'll take salesforce cleanliness for 100 Alex.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues within the email window, mainly stemming from a complete lack of support for 3rd party writing tools like Grammarly that makes the UX simply awful. Trying to insert a paragraph, copy paste a quote, create bullets, spell check, proofread, etc - such a mess. A single click can delete an entire email, reformat half the body, randomly insert some characters. You can be in the middle of typing and hit return, and boom suddenly Bold size 27 font blasting through a random paragraph. It's ridiculous. I've literally pulled my hair out trying to deal with this issue, and something that would take 5 seconds in a word processor or email client can take multiple tries over 5 minutes to do correctly in Outreach. Team - if you are reading this, PLEASE for the love of all that is holy, can you make the two play nice together? Other then that, no major beef. Simplifying how it works with LinkedIn would be nice as so much prospecting is done using that platform now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets us track rep activity, simplifies BDR/SDR daily processes, and brings together a number of disparate tasks into a single unified place. Removing the human element from prospecting and relying on the AI/ML intelligence built into Outreach is nice for everything from a reminder to followup, auto-stopping a sequence upon reply, or logging phone calls. It's much easier to keep track of a large book of business, and followup is simplified through good task management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An excellent tool with some minor imperfections. Try before you buy and make sure it fits into your teams existing workflow.

Lots of integrations so can get lost in the software. Takes a while to learn how to use it to maximum potential.

Outreach allows me to create email campaigns quickly and has analytic capabilities that help determine success rates.

Nothing really. Maybe not as sophisticated as some other platforms but does what it says it does.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is that you can track who’s read emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Emails that I’ve previouslt sent don’t always get sent through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track emails that have been read or viewed helps to expedite the sales process.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a good way to send out general email blasts automatically after a period of time
What do you dislike about the product?
This is less about the program and more about its actual potential. When setting up these auto emails, they have to be general and no matter how you write them up the emails seem too canned and fake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its does ease the time it takes to send follow up emails to prospects who have not responded to previous ones
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you know what you want to get out of it and make sure that your users realize that with so many firms now using these kinds of scheduled auto emails, it could be seen as too canned and not personal to those who get the emails

Couldn't Be Happier With How This Product Works!

What do you like best about the product?
I like to run campaigns for my book of business. Within this tool, sequences are amazing, and easy to use. It makes my job so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
While going through my prospect list with tags, I wish it was easier to navigate between accounts/prospects. When I am looking to edit 50-70 accounts, I want to be able to do it as fast as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am tracking my engagement with my book of business very well.

I am putting my book of business through great touch point sequences which helps me build those relationships at a higher level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a visual person that likes to look over your book of business, or have a structured process on handling your book of business, you would really appreciate this tool.

Software can be fairly buggy sometimes but understandable with a fast development cycle

What do you like best about the product?
The Outreach tool has provided my team with clear visibility into KPI's. It has also allowed us to focus on Account based selling and automating our email and call flow. The one thing I can say is that it has made the life of our BDR's 100% more efficient in the way they conduct their business on a day-to-day basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about this tool. If I had to pick something it would probably be the reporting features. It is at times a bit clunky and hard to digest. There have been some improvements made that have made it a lot easier as of late for which I am very grateful for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of efficiency with Outreach. Prior to purchasing the tool and business development reps were spending endless amounts of time prospecting and then emailing each prospect individually. The tool has allowed us to increase efficiency and let the BDR's focus on other important tasks.
