Outreach couldn't be more necessary
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows me to keep track of all of my prospects and make sure nobody slips through the cracks. Because of its robust insight capabilities, I can see who is opening my emails, and who is clicking the links I have sent. It proves to be very useful to me every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to learn and it is very robust. Because of that, it's easy to get lost in it and feel overwhelmed. However, the capabilities that come with it outweigh the usability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of not having enough visibility and volume of our prospecting process. Outreach allows us to have greater visibility into our process and lets us send out much more volume regarding emails and calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pull the trigger. Just do it.
Great for both high volume and high touch outreach
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about outreach is that it supports data-driven decision-making that enables us to optimize both our high touch and high volume outreach efforts. Our business development teams use Outreach within the context of an Agile framework where we continuously experiment and adapt in short cycles. The A/B testing allows us to continuously improve. The new opportunities feature is enabling daily standups with the team. The availability of email threads and notes is providing us with a level of transparency and data that our stakeholders appreciate and trust.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike is the lack of ability to manage at the account level. Stages are tied to prospects, but we need to have a sense of stages for accounts. The opportunities are new and definitely need some tuning. Ability to pull all activity data would be very helpful. Ability to track and undo account deletions is important. Full backups of all data (including activity data) for restoring the database is critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problem is the need to scale high-touch engagement with thousands of contacts in order to achieve a very personalized journey for each. With Outreach, we are able to nurture relationships and grow the ecosystem for the companies we serve at a scale that was previously unattainable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cleaning up account data caused by importing duplicates can be extremely painful. Make sure you manage your data well and remove dups before importing.
I use Outreach as a Partner Manager at Pinterest.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like it when the Chrome extension works and it makes my job so much easier and faster. Also, I really like when I'm notified if my emails were opened or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Chrome extension doesn't work for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to stop sequences/emails when someone doesn't want to be contacted anymore. I really benefit from being able to load automatic replies so I can just input the message that I want to send. Super easy and convenient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! It is so helpful.
Outreach is the ultimate sales suite for Predictable Revenue enthusiasts
What do you like best about the product?
Sequences are the easiest way to set and forget email outreach. You can also add in other tasks like calls and linkedin if you so choose.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now the biggest challenge I face is with the product comes from wanting to integrate it into more things like calendly instead of using the tools they've built
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of making individualized email out reach scaleable. It has solved this well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you consider all the options out there like MixMax, SalesLoft, etc. All have pros and cons
Great timesaving tools, yes still a work in progress
What do you like best about the product?
I love the behind the scenes work, and integrations with Salesforce. I know we are still learning the ropes, but excited to use Outreach to the full extent when we have the bandwidth in house.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the incoming calls are not recorded. Its frustrating for training purposes. I wish outreach would recognize the overall account and associated prospects within, so there are not multiple sequences to many contacts going out at once. It can get messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More touches in a time saving way. Helps keep me focused and on task. Makes my to do lists easier to get through.
Business Development
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use with the software. It has a simple layout that makes it easy to move quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont really have any dislikes at this time besides that fact that I would love a way to have an auto-dial feature to rapid call tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for Outbound calling and outbound Email communication. The notifications on the email cadences is very helpful to know which prospects to focus time on.
Best Sales, CS, and Marketing Tool on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Sequencing call email, email call, inserting call scripts, metric tracking, local presence dialing, click to call, and I Could go on...
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike on our end, but Outreach is the lamborghini of sales automation tools. Without a good driver, you can crash. With a great driver, the possibilities are endless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding SDR, AE, and CS Roles. Renewals workflows - we leverage to remind and connect with anyone who has a renewal. Product announcements from our CS team. Email and call logging into SFDC. We've scaled with the same 6 person SDR team to be able to grow our business 200% in 2 years without adding a single head. Have a sub 10% churn rate and increased long-term renewals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find others, attend an AA-ISP meeting, and map your use cases before you start implementing. Consider access controls (I.E template proliferation) and who owns your messaging.
Great tool for Sales Automation

It's a great tool that works without any bugs and accurate reporting functionality!
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much customization may be overwhelming for beginner users

Organizes my day
What do you like best about the product?
I extensively use Outreach to manage my day. From opportunities in pipeline to sales follow-ups I use Outreach to remind me on a daily basis what I need to be doing to manage my sales process. I would be in big trouble if we ever switched to another tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sales mapping process can be tricky. You have to make sure everything is mapped back correctly or else you might miss activities logging to the right place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the question of "what do I need to do today". Once I have a sales call and follow-ups identified, I sequence the prospect and I never have to worry about forgetting to follow up ever again.
Used Outreach for 4+ years now and have been a huge internal champion for it at my company.
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach continues to find ways to make sales people's lives easier. I can tell there's a precedent on continuous innovation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve so it's been challenging bringing people up to speed on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making me more efficient so I can scale my territory and make more money.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it now! Don't wait.
