Better than another vendor I've used

What do you like best about the product?
what I like best is the customer support and how quick it is to get a response. Also, the UI is very clean and it's very easy to find what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are honestly a few things that are EXTREMELY frustrating about the platform. One is that setting up pure email sequence seems so daunting that I won't do it.. Setting up sequences in general is frustrating because of the sheer amount of steps and choices- I liken it to trying to decide what to eat at Cheesecake Factory. Adding people into a sequence and then starting them automatically isn't intuitive.

One of the most frustrating things that happens is that I have calls that drop constantly or a prospect just cannot hear me on the phone because it's crackling on the line. I have lost a couple meetings due to this and in fear of this happening, I found myself just using my cellphone in fear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my outreach timed to days is useful.

I would like it if Outreach sent me a notification that the sequence is completed and reminded me to try a new contact or a different avenue

Excellent tool for outbound sales emails

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is very user friendly, with a solid interface that is intuitive and logical. The ease with which you can create sequences is really impressive. Also impressive is the flexibility of the sequences themselves, again being very intuitive to tailor to your exact needs.

I'm also a huge fan of the Outreach support team. If something does happen to go awry, they respond very quickly, professionally, and I've yet to have an issue that didn't get resolved within a 12 hour window.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are some design kinks that irritate me, but overall I really like the tool. One thing I believe that would help increase productivity in using the tool to create and manage sequences would be hotkeys to navigate through the different tabs and screens. But that's nitpicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using outreach to send and track emails that we use as our primary sales and product awareness communications. We're definitely brought customers on from using Outreach.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is perfect for follow up emails and making sure a prospect never goes untouched. It has some great integrations, including pretty good Salesforce and Datanyze plugins. The ability to create lists in Datanyze and mass upload them to Outreach is very useful.

Perhaps the best part of Outreach is the ability to upload Salesforce reports into a sequence. This proves to be helpful after marketing events such as conferences or webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very dangerous tool. If there is one mistake made (such as a typo, spacing error, format issue, etc.), you can blast 100's of prospects with an errant message.

Outreach is also not very granular. If you'd like to tweak a second or third email in a sequence for a particular prospect, you can't. Once the prospect is started in a sequence, it's final. Very frustrating when you'd like to drop reference customers in a follow up email and you can't because there is no access to edit that step for a single prospect.

Also, the default formatting is slightly funky -- odd font. I don't know why they don't just make it the same as Gmail's default settings...my two cents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue of following up with prospects. It can be extremely tedious and cumbersome to remember to follow up with a prospect (particularly email 3/4), and Outreach makes it doable. It saves hours upon hours of time writing emails
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Phenomenal for following up with prospects (inbound requests), must be careful when prospecting to mass audiences.

What do you like best about the product?
As a sales manager, Outreach makes my job much easier. I can view all of our team members sales prospects and see sales calls and emails happening in real time. It automates the follow up process for everyone so we don't miss out on potential sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few additions I would like to see Outreach add, hopefully they will listen to customer feedback and start to implement new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating the lead follow up process allows us to not have to think about and try to organize all of our existing prospects. The system takes care of it for us so we can focus on new sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allow admins to send live calls to lower ranked reps at any time.

What do you like best about the product?
Just takes a few clicks and your email is out. No filling in a certain name or company, outreach does it for you and saves you time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somtimes Outreach doesn't pull everything from SalesForce and vice versa, sometimes I have to go in and change it in both. Wish that was easier to save me some time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass email campaigns, reaching out to as many people as possible and Outreach helps with that

Definitely take advantage because it is a time saver, even for smaller companies

Occasionally info capturing on sites is rather slim.

Getting a million emails into the right boxes - it's great for that.

Great experience with Outreach

What do you like best about the product?
We used to spend hours and hours creating excel lists and performing mail mergers, Then going back into those files and deleting those who asked to be removed or adding notes on those who are interested. It took HOURS. Now, we just put it in outreach and it does all the dirty work. We also have multiple departments reaching out to the same contacts and its good have visibility into who is already been contacted recently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally a sequence will get paused and we won't really know why. We will go into the settings and unpause it, but this doesn't happen often and if you keep an eye out it's not much of a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving our business problem of TIME. We were spending hours on cold leads that had little chance to convert and now that's all ultimately automated. I have more time to focus on bigger targets but my manager gets the satisfaction of knowing I am contacting everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try if you are stuck in mailmerge hell.

The ability to make it seem like that each email is personalized rather than something robotic

I do not like for the auto fill in's on a template it puts whatever and I have to go in and manually edit it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to blindly email prospects and get them in for a product demonstration. Outreach is extremely beneficial because you can send out X amount in a day and each one gives you the same chance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it van definitely help if you are cold calling prospectsd. You can only make so many calls in a day. With outreach you can pretty much send as many emails schedules as you want to.
