  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
makes prospecting simple and personalized.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish there was a "send later" feature for prospects (if there is i haven't figured out how to use it yet)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i'm reaching hundreds more people than i would have by prospecting on my own. sequences have allowed me to stay on top of hundreds of leads that have lead to amazing sales with very little effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
definitely get it!

I use it in my day to day in business development

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that it helps organize your day/workflow. Gives you the ability to send out personalized content, but at a larger scale. It gives you ability to send in certain triggers or pieces of information that are most applicable to the person you're prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
being able to track opportunities more clearly would be beneficial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher volume of work for the business development team

All-around Sales tool

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Sequences - create personal or broad email sequences that can be sent in certain intervals (ie. set it and forget it)
2. Task management - create tasks for follow ups, schedule emails, simple UI to quickly run through tasks (emails or calls)
3. Open/Click tracking - understand when they opened the email and what they clicked on
4. Support is very quick to answer questions and solve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email tracking isn't always true - if I were to open an email I sent to a client, it would be marked as opened. I have noticed an option for Outreach to recognize this, yet still see if being overturn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales positions are often inundated with keeping track of customers who you've reached out to and follow up at a fair moment. With Outreach, you can set up sequences which help the user stay proactive in an organized fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for task management, email/click tracking, and creating email sequences for future send dates. Overall, I use it on a daily basis which allows me to proactively reach out to my clientele. Highly suggest to my colleagues.

Outreach stand well above the rest

  • November 28, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a clear difference between Outreach and the rest of competitors in the space. We reviewed most of these tools available and Outreach stood head and shoulders above the rest. The main aspect is how well thought out it is from both a user and manager perspective. The other tools are decent at one or the other. Outreach wins on both fronts. Additionally, there are small features here and there that make a massive difference in the what can truly be automated. Not the fake automation but true automation where we don't have to touch or do anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only aspect I dislike is the price :). All kidding aside thus far compared to what our alternatives would be there isn't much downside. I would like in the future to see more direct integration with activity tracking to what is mapped in Salesforce at a field level but there are work arounds for this that serve us well so it's not even a big challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Sales Productivity - our team can easily build and set repeatable cadences for every scenario
2. Segmenting Buyer Personas - huge element of segmenting based on title which is a big need for our business.
3. Connecting Marketing & Sales - the triggers in Outreach allow us to automatically direct and react to buyer engagement on the marketing front. This ensures we have almost no lag time in touching potential prospects.

Outrech - powerful, but UI is heavy

  • November 28, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The A/B testing of templates, analytics, easy to use campaign creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is really sticky, I haven't seen people able to work primarily in SFDC with outreach as the backbone. ultimately, since sfdc is the point of record, it's probably best to live there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales outreach automation - definitely solved, but not perfectly. It's great having outreach tied to lead status, and conversion. Never double sends if someone replies like other, worse tools (tout).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think they're the leader in the space, you just need a savvy sales ops person to make sure sfdc and it play nicely. Particularly around data entry, keeping records up to date, etc. Also, we never really had inbound leads so that wasn't an issue managing those, but for others, I would just say I don't have much clarity into how it works.

I used to really like them. . .

What do you like best about the product?
The product itself is great - when it is working correctly. I love almost all the features and think if fills a big need in the industry
What do you dislike about the product?
For the past month or so, Outreach's product has been so buggy. When I edit templates the cursor jumps around and it is hard to put in URL links where I want them. At least 4 times a week I find that someone actually replied to my sequence but for whatever reason, Outreach doesn't catch that and they keep getting emails, making me look unprofessional.

When I deal with support all I get is an email thread back and forth with people that takes FOREVER to get thru and invariably ends up with them asking for screen shots of what I'm talking about (which I get) but nothing ever really gets resolved. And the support process takes a long time. I don't have time to be checking my email every 10 or 15 min waiting for my support person to reply - its very disjointed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Outreach as a recruiting tool. I think the product saves me a lot of time and the automated drip email campaigns are great. When it is working properly I feel like it is a good and non-spammy looking solution.

HUGE upgrade

  • October 25, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything in one place. Automation, data, A/B testing, history, sequencing, ease of adding new prospects...all of this is well and attractively put together and incredibly intuitive. Has all the features we needed to upgrade our sales practices and continue to hone, improve, and scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the search features could use some updating. For example, searching by company has been more difficult than we would have liked because our upload didn't properly place the company name of a prospect in the 'account' field. Easy enough to fix / get around but not as easy as most of the other features.

Customer service wasn't the best, and it took longer for Outreach to get us set up than promised. It was very easy, there was just an unnecessarily long delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales team needed more automation, more freedom to tweak sequences once they've begun, and better analytics and managerial metrics available. Since we launched 10 days ago, we have almost our entire database of prospects uploaded and sequenced with personalized messages and the whole team has realized immense time saving techniques. Outreach cuts way down on process time, and allows us to focus on business needs instead of administrative ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As an automation and basic CRM tool, Outreach has so far exceeded all expectations. We may pair it with Salesforce to truly get the most out of it, but if you are looking for a sales tool that all of the members of your team can use and share data and institutional learning from, this fits the bill.

Outreach is a total time saver!

  • October 24, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sequences allow my team to set up genuine and consistent outreach to passive candidates and makes sure Betts is top of mind when they do start their job search.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial prework is pretty time consuming, so that has been the hardest part. Getting the team to commit to that work at the beginning is tough since we are such a fast paced environment, but once they do they love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The constant touch problem. Our team has a 90 day candidate ownership, and many just reach out every 90 days instead of keeping in touch with relevant and thoughtful emails. This has helped a ton!

Powerful tool with a great feature set

  • October 24, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach makes marketing and cold-emailing very simple. Creating not just a simple email drip campaign, but one that also incorporates call tasks and other 'generic' tasks as well is very helpful for maintaining an efficient and effective workflow. The 'Outreach Everywhere' Chrome extension makes it easier to keep track of prospects from the other platforms you contact them from, like Gmail and SalesForce, while their Gmail bar is very useful for sequencing prospects or replying with a template right from within Gmail. 'Personas' make it easier to connect with prospects in the most relevant way, while their stats and reporting help with keeping track of your business and seeing where your successes and challenges are.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Outreach has a very rich and complex feature-set, this can also be its downfall. Many of the great features that /can/ add a lot of value tend to fail or be buggy, rendering them unusable. Examples include Outreach Everywhere pulling up the 360* view instead of the correct prospect when you are looking at their SFDC contact page or an email chain with the prospect in Gmail. When importing a single .csv with prospects from multiple accounts, the import wizard gives you the option to map these prospects directly to their (already created) accounts in Outreach, but this function has never worked. There is an inability to reorder sequence steps if a prospect has already been through the sequence, meaning if you want to make an improvement you must recreate the sequence and add prospects to a copy of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our (SDR) organization, we use Outreach to automatically follow up with inbound leads, perform higher-scale outbounding efforts with Account-Based Sales Development, and drive attendance to regional events. Using Outreach in conjunction with DiscoverOrg's extensive prospect database has helped us reach the right individuals, at the right time, in the right way. One of the great benefits of using Outreach has been the ability to maintain our inbound and outbound contacts in separate CRMs, and view activity histories for prospects that previous SDRs have touched or contacted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to Outreach! I have worked with their support team on a number of occasions in my short tenure here, and while they have not often been able to solve the issues or add the functionalities I was inquiring about, they have gone out of their way to follow up with me and keep me in the loop, as well as giving me background on when I might expect a certain bug fix or functionality add.

Worked daily with this product over multiple months.

  • October 18, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy navigation tools and reporting options. Very easy to run without much need for training. The support staff is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality I needed was not yet an option. Mainly around creating variable emails within a single campaign type.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business development issues and best processes around creating qualified leads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great options and gives you what you need without unnecessary bells and whistles.
