Best product in this category
What do you like best about the product?
It's a well-built product with all the features that you need for comprehensive sales email marketing. I've tried a lot of the competitive products and this is by far the least buggy, best thought out product.
Easy to create cadences/sequences.
Can edit emails in any sequence to personalize
Easy to intermix calls
Very flexible

What do you dislike about the product?
Some odd bugs here and there. The gmail plug in is ok - it has a lot of odd views/behaviors in chrome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sales outreach
new adopter but so far so good
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the sequences/tasks integrate seamlessly into my daily workflow. The interface is visually appealing
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to schedule one off emails to send in the future, not a huge fan of the process to get to the 360 view and opened emails. Would prefer if there was more of a live feed that integrates right into gmail. The open/reply desktop notifications seem a bit delayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting web analytics community to introduce our data QA platform- has improved my ability to effectively follow up and stay on top of leads
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Many on my team live in Salesforce. We research accounts and contacts individually, then add them to a list of tasks including emails, calls and other generic tasks. If your goal is to create reports and send mass communication, this may not be the tool for you (outdated emails, inaccurate data). It works well for those that prefer more strategic, targeted prospecting. It enables you to increase your reach without compromising personal messaging.
Overall good product
What do you like best about the product?
There is great overall control and configuration of outbound email campaigns and the automatic notifications of key triggers is next-level. The UI is great and its intuitive to use. The in-app product release notes and training videos are best in the industry. The addition of Outreach Voice was a great value-add.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have had technical issues over the past few months and it became frustratingly common. The caveat is that they're usually quick to isolate and resolve the issue and they're very transparent as to what is going on. I wish there was more functionality to rolling together many individual emails into one group or catch-all. The quality of Outreach Voice has been an issue previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound sales through email campaigns and phone call campaigns.

Spend the money.
Sales Marketing Machine
What do you like best about the product?
- Building sales campaigns
- Replicating previous campaigns
- Building templates

- Robust understanding of errors in our data whether that be from uploading or lack of variable information

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish their plugin operated with less bugs. I would like to create my own reports and customize the information I pull out of my contacts. I am not of fan of the manual process of having to reengage out of office contacts that have been paused and pulled out of a drip campaign. The integration with Salesforce is not as seamless as we would like because it does not drill down into the Account or Opportunity levels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined our sales process by automating our outreach to our sales prospects. This has allowed us to reach to more contacts in a shorter period of time and also increase our reporting and email testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach.io is far superior than Yesware and other similar tools out there. Customer service is very responsive. I would recommend this tool to anyone reaching out to clients or prospective clients in a varying type of ways.
Best tool for account development
What do you like best about the product?
I've used a slew of these products. Outreach is definitely the most user friendly, efficient tool I've ever used in an account development/account executive role.
Being able to drop people in a (whatever number you want) step cadence is great. Being able to track open rates, clicks, replies, etc. is huge. Being able to A/B test is amazing. The best part about all of this is that it's EASY to view and digest analytics on the go.
The Salesforce integration is INCREDIBLE.

What do you dislike about the product?
Email cadences are supposed to automatically stop when a prospect replies to an email. I've had some problems with this. It's because I have four alias email addresses that I use - so it makes it a little challenging. I've had many email conversations and screen shares with the support team to fix this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making the web a more meaningful place. We proud ourselves on accomplishing a lot with a small team. Because of this, we all wear a lot of hats and being able to drop people in cadences/sequences has been a serious time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would be very helpful to have someone in the organization who already has experience with Outreach. That way you don't have to always rely on the support team. (which is great, btw).
Very useful and the new updates are very cool
What do you like best about the product?
Automating email campaigns has become so easy, rather than having to spend hours at at time just copying and pasting email templates!! The newest features detailing the prospect, their company, and competitor profiles are also becoming very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is still a little clunky from a workflow perspective. Adding leads via SFDC is a bit messy. I've also had a couple of bugs in the system or unexplained / non-intuitive times using the tool which has resulted in mass emails being sent at once rather than being throttled. The GMail plug-in has proved an issue in that it doesn't consistently work. In place of this we purchased Salesforce IQ.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating email campaigns. Strategic account growth and connecting with net new prospects. The whole team are now consistent with their outreach campaigns, using standard messaging and collateral whereas previously they were sending anything / everything to prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool, at a very affordable rate. Originally we had too large of a license which caused some hesitance on renewal but found the right solution with our customer rep.
The best there is for automated outreach
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is simply the best at what they do, and I'm surprised that there aren't more reviews on here for them. I have tried probably 5 other pieces of software to see if they can keep out with Outreach, and I always come back to Outreach because I know that I can rely on them.
Their campaigns, reply detection, template handling, and even their CRM areas are all top notch. While some software claims to do almost everything Outreach does, there is one thing that it does better than every one else and it has saved me so many times. If I send an email to bob@domain.com, but susie@domain.com responds, it notifies me someone else has responded for bob and stops him from receiving more emails in the campaign. It's unbelievable how good that level of reply detection is.

What do you dislike about the product?
The really isn't much I dislike about Outreach. The price? Other than that, it's very reliable and always gets the job done. I honestly don't think there is something I could suggest that it could do better. Maybe shareable templates across their user base?
Thinking more about it, their customer service is lacking. They have nice people that work it, but they're one of the only companies I use where I am regularly misunderstood when I ask a question. Maybe it's the complicated software, but it's frustrating having ask the same question 2-3 different ways to get an answer. I've just stopped trying.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach is my main software for automated outreach in my business development company. Without it, I wouldn't have a company and I wouldn't be successful. It is a software I'm confident in to always send out my emails, it has unbelievable reply detection, and it has all the settings I need to make sure my email looks personalized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One thing that I have started to do recently is to use Outreach as my CRM and my email software. While it doesn't do quite everything that other CRMs do, it does quite a bit. After many many months of searching and using other CRMs and even really liking some, I discovered it just made more sense to do what I needed in Outreach.
A CRM is only as useful as how often you use it, and setting tasks, tracking emails, and managing contacts is super easy in Outreach. Since my whole database has to pass through there as they get emailed, it made sense just to use it as a CRM as well.

SDR using Outreach
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to stay organized and make sure hot or warm leads don't fall through the cracks. I like that it tells you as soon as someone opens your email. The customer support is quick and very responsive. If they don't understand a question they will ask for screen shots or examples of the problem to make sure it is fully addressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some bugs where it seems Emails are opened less than in actuality. When a prospect is out of the office and you get an auto response from their email the sequence that prospect is in will be put on pause. You have to manually unpause those prospects to keep them going in the sequence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation of emails is fantastic. It customizable to territories so emails go out during business hours. The Tagging makes it easy to group prospects by certain trade shows attended, softwares used, time zone, drip campaign, ect. Makes it easier to find all prospects according to how they are associated to our outreach efforts.
Very useful, use it everyday
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of search and being able to group people with tags
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to connect with Salesforce has it's difficulties
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategic emails with sequences
