Small-medium businesses beware - Outreach will leave you in the dark.
What do you like best about the product?
We really enjoy the ability to schedule and automate the outbound sales outreach with direct integration to some of our favorite solutions. This offers a robust approach as well as some decent reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely zero customer appreciation or customer service. We have tried to connect with support on multiple occasions, from billing needs/inquiries to technical questions regarding why our bounce rates are so high, and our project manager has left our questions unanswered and ignores our outreach. Billing doesn't have time for us, but when talking to our agency vendors, they are excited to work with Outreach support and never have any issues. It's not easy being a small fish in a big pond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales outreach at scale with integration into other platforms to provide a robust outbound strategy. This helps us save time and increase productivity because we can rely on the automation.
Easy and convenient to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is incredibly easy to use. The interface is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach is synced with my company's CRM and I see sync issues sometimes. Not sure if it's on their end or the CRM. But that's the only thing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses it for Email Marketing campaigns. We track the progress with Outreach. Who is opening the email and when, the pending tasks, and who added the customer contact. All these details and insights are very helpful for our company.
Clean UI and Easy to Use

Outreach comes with clean UI and is easy to learn for newbies

Salesforce and Outreach syncing is not fast enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily track all email and call activities off BDRs in outreach
Outreach started out strong, doesn't go the distance.
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a very approachable tool and seems to have many of the expected features that users look for, especially when looking for an alternative to Salesloft.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach support is notoriously slow, even when the issue at hand should call for more accelerated prioritization. For example, we had an issue that took our entire SDR team offline for over a week and while we working with the Outreach team, we would wait for over a day for an update. For us, this was a P0 and it seemed like it did not phase the team at Outreach, even when they figured out that the issue was on their end.
Another issue has been the less than stellar integration with Salesforce. Custom field mapping is not reliable, triggers that should update Stages or other fields on Contacts and Accounts do not work consistently; in all cases, there never seems to be a clear reason for the issues but over the last year, these issues have gone from infrequent to more than 1x/week. These types of issues accumulate into larger disruptions for our sales team very quickly.
Another issue has been the less than stellar integration with Salesforce. Just like any SaaS company right now, we need a tool for our Sales teams to run their cadences/sequences as part of their prospecting and deal management processes. Outreach was a better solution for us than Salesloft but we're now having to reevaluate our tool stack.
Great for staying connected
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to insert available times to meet directly into my emails!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to set up and use templates -- it's fine how it is, but sometimes I have to do a lot of clicking around because it isn't super intuitive.

Best prospecting & account management tool I have ever used. Period.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use, and there isn't any fluff. Sequences, account management, and success plans give you the best tools to convert deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Success Plans could be easier to use. Could be easier to attach prospects to them, and I wish you could send an actually email from them.

Conversion. It helps me track all my deals in a super organized manner.
Horrible support

Our team is able to automate email sequences.

What has triggered writing this review is that we have been having issues with emails not being sent (BDR team of 4 not being able to send emails) for several weeks.
The Outreach support team has been largely unresponsive or replying with generic FAQ style junk that has not been helpful.
Also, based on what our account rep has told us, there is no option to generate a weekly or monthly report via email.
As a leader, I need to log into the tool to see a report.

Sending higher volume of emails.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, sequences within Outreach allow me to keep track of prospects I am currently reaching out to. Outreach tells you when the last time a prospect was reached out to and does not allow you to add the prospect if it is in another sequence which eliminates over reaching out to the prospect. I use Outreach everyday!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in particular that I do not like about Outreach. The only thing the tool lacks is I wish that on top of letting you know when a prospect opens the email, how long they spent on looking at it. I also wish I could upload prospects right from Sales Navigator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
engaging with prospects and keeping them in an organized sequence. This allows me to reach out to multiple prospects at an account and add tasks to prospects that I need to be reminded of.
Best Marketing Campaign tool!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Indeed, Outreach is a sales engagement tool that works to engage leads and prospects across a broad set of interactions, with support to make your staff more efficient and effective. Think of it as a next-gen CRM and enterprise communication tool. Its functionality and usability are far superior to similar tools like SalesLoft, and in terms of price, it is highly competitive with other similar tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, Doesn’t integrate with Google Sheets, also sometimes uploading a large number of data of prospects for the campaign, and outreach doesn't respond quickly.

Outreach your prospects with ease
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friendly in-terms of interface and monitoring all your outreach like email , sequences, calls, e-mail sentiment, meetings etc under the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, but whenever I try to import contacts from Salesforce I use to get some error in completing it , integration could be seamless and that could've been better

Meeting management and sequencing and i like the analytics and metrics part the most. It obviously reduces my time that invested in reaching out my prospect, i can see results
