Must-have for BDR teams and Sales team in general
What do you like best about the product?
Sequences. It helps us, Sales rep. reach out to a wide audience through different mediums while customising the copy of each touchpoint. It's just brilliant and pays off every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for now. Perhaps make it even more obvious who we should be following up with when Outreach knows that there might be some interest from a specific lead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's time-consuming to do Outbound and there's only a limited time every week to do it so a tool like outreach that saves us time and makes it easier to customise the copy for each recipient is what we all need.
Excellent platform - Hopefully it continues to evolve
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to add a variety of tasks to a sequence, not just email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sequences and templates not malleable enough for bigger clients
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Triaging our inbound channel, mass outbounding - saves time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the amount of time wasted on inbound leads and how Outreach could help

Outreach- Easy to use for New Users & Sales Managers
What do you like best about the product?
I run an Account Management Team (sell to existing businesses) so my sales background is light on outbound work. Given that, in recently rolling out outbound responsibilities to my team, the tool was new to me, and I needed to get up to speed fast. The UI didn't make this overwhelming, and for the most part I could self-serve and figure out what I needed to do without help
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't save a particular data view that I weekly check (Candidly- I also haven't checked your help center yet to see if it's just user error on my behalf ;))
Additionally, in the first week of use, I found accessing sequences, permissioning them, etc, to be a bit clunky/hard to find, but the caveat is I jumped in feet first without training, documentation, etc (really just anecdotes from folks on my team) to get started.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has recently started outbound prospecting for the first time in our role, so it's helped with automating the outbound work, follow ups, scheduling meetings, etc. Right now the biggest benefit is time savings. Without outreach we'd have to send everything manually via Gmail.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of trainings prior to rolling out to your team

What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble setting it up and troubleshooting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks such as reminding myself to call customers back.
It's OK. There are some glitches to work around, but it does the job.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the sequences, I like that it ties nicely with Gmail so I can use my Google outbox and signature. I like the scheduling features, but they're pretty basic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are weird glitches to be aware of. Sometimes it just goes down, or sometimes notes disappear, or it gives weird "you don't have a number" errors. It can also be hard to find stuff sometimes and there's some digging to be done. You also can't combine accounts or contacts, so heaven help you if your customer entered themself in your CRM twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does our scheduling and calling for our sales department. The sequence feature is real helpful, and it's helpful that you can pick a local or your own number.
Outreach Review
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful with follow ups, especially with email. Can make calendar invites link automatically to allow prospects to self schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting for the calendar feature is a bit buggy and can be fickle when selecting. Also customers often don't intuitively understand they need to click on the time links to schedule. The Outreach extensions is useful for logging calls easily but often crashes. Also overall slows down my computer when using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier and more timely follow up. Ability to self remind on things in an organized fashion. Logging of activity for mgt views.
Key tool for any successful AE
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows you as an AE to efficiently prospect email and add into cadences all new contacts from an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we could add prospects on LI within the tool it would be super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email outreach and account planning.
Outreach - food for Thought
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to send sequences and see the insights to determine which emails are high performance in terms of views and click and which are not. I've only used Outreach for sequences no other tool than Marketo, but it wasn't self serve.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to move steps around in a sequence and change the name of each email to reflect its new position in the sequence. I realize there is a button to move emails within a sequence up and down in the order, but it's a bit clunky and I can't make changes swiftly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to connect and educate a large number of people on various topics removing the very manual previous process of doing it one by one. I get to sort through my leads and see who's opened the email and clicked, then prioritize them to call first.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great tool that allows creativity when messaging potential customers.
I work with Outreach on a daily basis and find the sequence functions to be immensely valuable.
What do you like best about the product?
The capability to automate my workflow is a huge benefit in allowing me to focus on the execution of the tasks directly in front of me. I strongly recommend utilizing the "Outreach Everywhere Extension" from the Google Store as it causes an immense boost in productivity when used in tandem with SFDC, Gmail, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The throttling of how many contacts I can have engaged in certain types of sequences REALLY annoys me and having my daily email capped for bulk sends is a problem for me. A key area where this causes me angst is when I am doing a bulk compose to invite a lot of people to our events; this cap stresses me out because I literally go through and plan out how many people I can invite per day and it just ends up being a significant waste of time instead of just being able to do one massive bulk invite. Phew! Venting session over - all in all - I still love Outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it most useful for a standardized means to transition "Top of Funnel" to "Middle of Funnel". It is relevant in both cold outreach and converting intent signals. Every meeting that I have arranged has been a product of a contact being placed into a Sequence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach has been an agile enough tool for both TOFU and MOFU processes: highly recommended!
