Sales Engagement at Scale done right
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach has been an excellent tool for engaging with prospects, picking insights on what's resonating, and also managing the workflows by setting up templates, snippets, etc. I particularly liked the interface and how customer-friendly it is. Some of the features I've loved using are: A/B Testing, Templates, Building collection of campaigns to organise content internally, time engagement insights, etc. Outreach University, Sam Nelson's tips & tricks on using Outreach and on cold outbound and Medina's book on Sales Engagement, have always been quite valuable. In that sense, Outreach to me, stands for good sales engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike it particularly, but it's sometimes been challenging to schedule emails that go out immediately. At times, Voice functionality hasn't worked well and almost always, low Internet connectivity has been cited as a reason - as a user, it becomes then a whole process to get that rectified even though Internet speed is good and never becomes an issue for other tools. I might like more insights from other companies, embedded within the product, on the best practices and ML-powered tips to amplify the impact of the messaging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Engaging with different set of prospects based in different time-zones
2. Helping organize and test the content for different segment of audiences to use the right fit messaging
3. Calling prospects at the right time in different countries with ease

Email Sequences and tracking. Creating manual and automated steps
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more local numbers like phone numbers for SEA and African countries
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Emails, tracking emails, Daily sales outreach activities

Essential for Sales, but the industry could fare better with some more competition
What do you like best about the product?
The end-users, generally your quota-carrying reps, will find the UI easy to navigate. Sequences are highly customizable regarding email creation and cloning and can be customized with wait, call, and email steps. With proper enablement, your org can also scale by using features such as snippets to maintain messaging quality and unify certain tracks. Also, their integration with CRM (in our case, SFDC) is robust; generally, you can customize your integration with a level of complexity that can support many business use cases. Ingesting fields is simple, and updating fields from Outreach to the CRM is also painless. Outreach also plays nicely with Google Workplace (Gmail, Google Calendar), and the uptime for our key integrations - CRM and Email - has never been an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their dialer runs into tech issues occasionally, and the lack of integration to Gong or Chorus is troubling but not surprising since Outreach has built a competing product. Support and pricing used to be topnotch but have become more inaccessible and opaque (respectively) as they scaled. Be prepared for rising costs once the product is sticky with your org. Most importantly, there are some hurdles in administrating the product's scalability since the ease of use approach for reps can lead to a sprawl relatively quickly. Coupled with some limitations on how email throttling, user permissions, and bulk exporting/importing rules can be set (not limited to these three), an admin-type role is highly recommended to extract any meaningful insights and reporting from this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More and more business transactions are being initiated via emails, and Outreach has been pivotal in enabling our Sales teams to land new customers. Every cold and warm outreach is initiated from this product.
Outreach - Great for enterprise prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
Without a doubt, outreach is my go-to tool for top-of-funnel prospecting. I've used Outreach at two different organizations, and so far, it's exceeded all expectations.
Outreaches sequences allow me to prospect at scale, working both inbound and outbound leads; the ability to create multi-stage, multi-platform arrangements automates a lot of the work behind the scenes.
When used as a daily driver, outreach allows me to login to my CRM and sequence leads every morning, allowing for personalization at scale and automated emailing and follow-ups.
Finally, when it comes to analytics and insight into how my prospecting is going, outreaches sequence analytics allow me to see which sequences are converting, what stages they are converting at and how I can better create higher converting sequences.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a rep with an international territory that spans multiple time zones, I would like to see the ability to sort calls by timezone. Furthermore, outreach has a click to dial feature, It's a long shot, but if we could have a dialing list function that will autodial for you one lead at a time for the call touches due, that would massively improve productivity.
I find at times when you are doing a lot of the tedious tasks within outreach (e.g, mass following prospects on Linkedin, it takes a little bit of time to load and can sometimes crash)

We use outreach at Gitlab to help with inbound and outbound top of funnel prospecting; reps can log in and see leads that marketing has generated and sequence them accordingly, then follow up on schedule.
Benefits we have realized include a streamlined approach to top-of-funnel prospecting, global sequences which standardize messaging across the org.
One of the most significant benefits outreach offers is working with territories with high lead volume but low conversion rate, the ability to mass sequence streamlines the efforts required to still reach out to all prospects

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach is great for the enterprise and if you are scaling out your sales org. If you want reps on the phones quicker and dealing less with making sequences, outreach is a great tool.
SDR review
What do you like best about the product?
best part of outreach is being able to organize my own prospecting in a way where i can continue to follow up with them efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
it does crash for us from time to time which makes certain days tough without Outreach
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of keeping track of my outreach efforts, Outreach allows me to know exactly when and who i am reaching out to
Powerful & Ease to use SEP
What do you like best about the product?
I like that not only is it a powerful engagement tool but in a way can function as a CRM. It allows for opportunity creation and some sales-focused elements. Many other SEPs only manage sequences, templates etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really have no dislikes for the system. I think it can be a struggle for team adoption at times due to how powerful it can be, however, once they catch on it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining a process for our sales team. Being able to leverage sequences, pre-created templates, and make sure our outreach doesn't fall through the cracks.
We have noticed tremendous benefits to implementing Outreach. We scaled our outreach & activity which led to a larger pipeline, conversion and closed dollar across the board.

Ability to set tasks, track them and see all notes about a prospect/account in one centralized place.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the software can be really slow and have glitches
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have been able to have a centralised messaging across the sales team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your integrations between your CRM and outreach are set up really well.
Outreach is okay
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are snippets that allow you to avoid having to type the same thing over and over again. Also, sequences make it easier to set yourself up with automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be a bit clunky. You have to double-click buttons (that should be a single click). Also, they have a fair amount of outages. It's not the most intuitive tool either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Among other things, Outreach allows for a good way to organize your calls and emails. It also helps automate your day and avoid the time it can take to manually complete customer outreach tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a way to make your customer communication tasks more efficient, Outreach is a great tool to have. It allows for customizable automated messaging, templates, integrations with other tools and more. Also, they have great support. It does have it's issues under the hood, though. There are about 1-2 outages a month. It can react a bit slowly at times. As a user who has to make 50+ calls a day and send/receive 20-30 emails a day, even the smallest issues can sometimes seem more than they are. I have used some competitors, though (8 in total), and I can confidently say that Outreach is in the top half.
A must have for outbound efforts
What do you like best about the product?
- Outreach is super customizable
- It goes beyond just a sales engagement platform. It provides you with additional AI and ML-powered features and products
- They have a great knowledge base and support
- It's easy to use even for non tech savvy people
- Great reporting capabilities

What do you dislike about the product?
- Syncing capabilities with a CRM can be improved: if a prospect is created in Outreach (for example via Gmail integration), Outreach will try to sync it into your CRM as a Lead unless it has a named account. We don't use the Lead object and we had to find a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach helps us to find out what subject lines and the sequence structure generate the highest number of positive replies. It also helps our sales reps and BDRs to cut down tedious manual tasks and lets them focus on selling. We also improved our speed-to-lead by leveraging the power of triggers and automated sequences.
Outreach is great and I qualify more leads because of them!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the sequence tool so I can stay ontop of my client's inbox. This way I can work without working and continue to follow up with an automated process!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could pause contacts via outreach into other crms. We also use salesforce and it would be really cool if I could pause someone in outreach, and salesforce would also know.
