A leader in sales engagement for a reason

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very intuitive platform for the end user. Training and enablement for new users is very straightforward, and the training provided by Outreach University is also very comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The internal reporting functions (which have been greatly improved over the last year or so) could be a bit more comprehensive. Data flows very well to Salesforce though, making reporting from there very simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales rep efficiency is probably at the top of the list. Our marketers can create sequences for our reps, and the integration between Outreach and SFDC gives the reps a very short (3-5 clicks) click path to get a person in Salesforce imported to Outreach and added to a sequence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is very simple for the end user, but requires the same level of planning and preparation as any other SaaS tool, during implementation. Spend the time up front to fully map out each use case, reporting requirements, fields that you'll want to sync to your CRM (including the direction of the sync) and you'll save yourself a lot of headache in the future.

Essential tool for any outbound team.

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create multiple sequences and analyze which emails are performing better. Ability to change the messaging quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics can get messy if you create too many sequences. Hard to keep it clean for a larger team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help organize reps priorities and have a high volume of dials/tasks, efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Super important tool for anyone doing outbound prospecting. There are other similar solutions out there, but Outreach has excellent integration with sfdc, and its easy to create/duplicate new sequences.

Great sales enablement tool

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to create sequences with multiple touchpoints and types of touchpoints (e.g. email, LinkedIn, phone, etc.). I also liked being able to report on sequence performance against different metrics, such as open, click, and reply rate.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I was able to report on individual sequences, I found it difficult to understand how sequences performed as a whole, and to be able to compare sequences of similar types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sequences provide optimized messaging for our Sales team for specific scenarios. This allows us to be more targeted in our outreach to prospects and customers. It also lets us test different types of messaging so that we can improve over time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach is a great tool for enabling your Sales team with optimized sequences to communicate with prospects and customers.

AE Experience with Outreach

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach makes organizing my prospecting activities a breeze. Having Linkedin SalesNav integrated into the platform allows me to create tailored lists to research and then add into my funnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach allows users to send prospects/customers potential meeting times for them to select from. In my experience, if a user includes multiple poeple internally from their team, when the prospect/customer books the meeting, the the additional internal resources do not recieve the invite automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach helps me keep track of my prospecting activities and holds me accountable to my KPIs. I can streamline calls, tasks, and LinkedIn actions within one place. Outreach also helps me curate custom prospecting lists.

Outreach is the dagger compared to Salesforce's bazooka.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple user interface and the automation tools that get the job done. It makes it easier for reps and managers to get in touch with their prospects. Many other CRMs have automation tools but often the bells and whistles make it less simple rather than more effective. Outreach is more intuitive.

I also like the Home dashboard which provides a handful of standard views for the reps to really understand where they are in their week and pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
The export functions are not uniform, so exporting mailings will include different prospect/account data than an export of dials or tasks. This means a little vlookup work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach is used by our reps to organize their pipelines and to automate most of their prospecting for new customers. It's also easy to organize future touches with ad hoc tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really make the most of the Outreach provided guidance and resources. Knowing the ins and the outs of this CRM doesn't take long and knowing the little tricks will save you a lot of time later.

When it works it is awesome

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create email templates, sequences, and snippets is awesome. Bulk composing is great also but it takes good alignment of your Salesforce fields which can be challenging at times (not sure if this is SF or Outreach issue). Automatic logging into Salesforce and being able to see opens is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will randomly kick you out of Outreach and if you don't notice, it sucks when you send a bunch of emails and realized they weren't logged. Also, not sure if our phone vendor or Outreach's fault, but the integrated phone to call and log doesn't really work most of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to bulk compose/email customers is huge. Keeping track of opens and clicks is also great. When it is stable, it really does increase efficiency. On a plus, I've noticed less issues with stability so I assume they are working on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have tight alignment w/ your internal revenue ops teams to ensure proper setup and regular maintenance

New to Outreach (former SalesLoft user)

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From an end-user perspective, very easy to use, similar to other sales-engagement platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin experience is not particularly intuitive; making larger systems changes/data-refreshes somewhat difficult; no way to do mass-uploads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with customer messaging at scale; SFDC integration is good; takes a lot of guesswork out of the sales process for our more transactional teams.

Intuitive tool to send mass emails

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I found Outreach to be overall intuitive and easy to send mass emails in a sales/marketing campaign. I liked that I could check each email itself to make sure everything looked right before sending.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a limited number of licenses per company and so we continuously need to allocate them throughout the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to send semi-customized emails to a large group of prospects at once. This was a big time-saver!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better than competitiors

Super SDR using Outreach for 2 major SaaS companies in Raleigh, NC

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The reminders and automatic updates for OOO emails and number updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prospect dashboards. Company insights are typically outdated or irrelevant information. In addition, the account notes should be first. Saves time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up with current metrics assigned by the management team. I'm also saving time by sorting out who is responsive and who isn't.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
