The best data collection and management application for Monitoring and evaluation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and on multiple devices, customer support is good, and questionnaires can be set with different settings with logics.
What do you dislike about the product?
On weak networks, can't be opened on web
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fulcrum is helping to solve the problem of unclean data which goes a long way in saving precious time that would be used in cleaning data.

Fulcrum is very user friendly and easy to navigate through, I use Fulcrum regularly / daily.
What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the detailed options we have to be able to give very detailed description of our Postwire Jobs from In House.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times & not often we get a glitch that causes the Fulcrum to freeze up and we have to reset our entire computer to reset the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fulcrum helps us to secure solid leads for our Techs daily.
Really enjoy working with this app on the field.

The map in real time. It's easy to use and easy to integrate

Nothing. Everything about it is good for my field of work. I work in exploration in the mining industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need interactive maps on the field that tells us where we are exactly and the app provides that. It also shows the direction in which you are walking which really benefits us when trying to find the right acces, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Fulcrum is practically limitless with possibilities of what you can accomplish. The platform is so versatile that customization can be achieved by any user based on their specific needs. This broad customizable approach has offered our company the ability to utilize Fulcrum for many other needs beyond what we were originally seeking it out for. Additionally, the ability to quickly modify and create apps blew my mind. Common sense is all that is required to set up your apps and keep them functioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limits on managing data between different apps and parent/child records, however the knowledgeable staff and university videos help in figuring out most programming needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fulcrum allows our company to perform monthly inspections of our substations. It is even programmed to print out and email me the report after each site has been inspected. IF that wasn't slick enough, it is also programmed to automatically send out warnings for areas that have issues or need attention based on responses from the individuals performing the inspections. Previously hand written reports were generated each month and scanned in for everyones reading pleasure. If there was ever an issue, it was often unnoticed unless the individual inspecting the substation directly reported the issue.
Fulcrum also tracks and monitors all of our companys assets. The assets are organized by asset type and location so it is easy to pinpoint equipment on the fly directly from your phone or ipad.

Timely and real time data collection and syncronization.

Sometimes it stops working during sunny weather.

Timely and accurate data collection with GPS stamp. It helps me validate the data.

What do you like best about the product?
So easy to edit to display what is required. Have had to ask a few learning questions along the way and always answered in a comprehensive and helpful manner and as timely as can be considering time differences between the countries.

would be great to include tables for data entry in the forms (separate fields in each cell of course

Is easy to use and implement, and integrate. I like to have all data in the same place

We can not make soil log (borehole) directly from Fulcrum in our case we need to use Openground. Also, we can`t use a pre-populate coordinate in one area without a cellphone signal as we can do in Fieldmap.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the map layout and the ease in which the tool can be modified and adaped for a specific use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When leaving cell coverage the app loses the maps leaving you somewhat "blind" without the map overlay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow amangement is easily visualized with the tool.
Simple but capable (with few caveats)
What do you like best about the product?
I most like how Fulcrum is separated into a number of simple application (e.g. for different aspects or parts of a work flow). So each, specific app is focused and simeple/managable (rather than all tasks being included in one large, "integrated" application with several menus etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be cumbersome to edit the report tables into final ones, and to associate photo file names with sample numbers. Would be nice to have a hyperlink or file name consistent with the sample number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile field data collected in remote field regions (mostly northern Canada). Sample collection on-site in field. Mapping observations on-site in field. Sample sorting/shipping in camp.
