Vimeo is one the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo gets so many things right! The Developer API is very well-designed and documented. The live streaming service works very well and is loaded with interactive features for capturing live data from your viewers in real time. Live streaming services include a license for Livestream Studio, which works smoothly with NDI cameras. The customer support is also top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point for non-profits is not bad, but it could be better. I wish that there was more than one license for Livestream Studio included in the live stream service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our church desperately needed a better streaming platform when we found Vimeo. Vimeo definitely delivered excellent service at a competitive price. Our old streaming service was dropping our live stream feed during the pandemic, but Vimeo never had an issue handling the bandwidth. Our old streaming software kept having problems keeping our video and audio in sync, but Livestream Studio has handled everything like a champ!

What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is simple to use and easily accessible by all my clients. We use it in our video production process with clients to receive feedback, distribute and livestream events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I've run into with Vimeo is the upload limit. Our team shoots a lot of events which generate large amounts of deliverables. When delivery time is sensitive that upload limit can be frustrating for small clients who cannot afford to upgrade to a higher tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo has solved the distribution problem for me. It is really easy to deliver videos. Additionally, the no advertisements are extremely attractive to companies interested in keeping their brand clean.
A solid, dependable platform for any occasion
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo makes it simple to schedule live streaming events and has been reliable as a business platform for the past three years. Other than during the beginning of Covid when streaming was through the roof, we have always been able to get the job done with vimeo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vimeo's customer service / technical support sucks. there are no quick ways to get an answer to simple questions unless you are in the middle of a live stream. even then it was useless. I don't know if this is still the case but a couple of years ago when streaming a funeral the service went down and customers saw a screen " something's wrong in the magical forest" or something like that. It didn't go over well. Also during the peak times while our business was growing, they claimed unlimited streaming had limits based on other users stats. They would not give me a way to determine what that limit was so we could avoid it. They threatened to shut off the channel, effectively putting us out of business. I couldn't get anyone to call to speak to in person.

Vimeo provides a solid platform for all of our streaming needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The good design, the good usability, and the simple review and exchange process help us enormously in handling video projects of all kinds. Livestreaming for smaller projects is also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we lack a bit of clarity with Vimeo overall. Keyword: Organize videos, delete them, so that we generate less data clutter. The new subscription model, which is no longer called Premium, might also lead us to switch platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Vimeo helps us use the review process in a customer-friendly and efficient way. For streams (small), we particularly use the iframe function / embedding function.

I love having all the tools I need on the same platform. Streaming, Customer Review Page, Storage of all video masters, and the possibility of selling my services.

The incorporation of tools such as automatic subtitling, or translation is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The communication and distribution of the material, from the first editions for client reviews, to the delivery for download of the final editions.

Vimeo provides flexibility for our variety of needs in a user-friendly platform.

Periodic platform changes (such as new labeling) sometimes come as a surprise. Fortunately, they are usually easy to sort out.

Storage & file management: It provides a video library that helps us keep our media organized.
Distribution: This also helps with distribution. It is easy to share links from here.
Analytics: Analytics are then relatively easy to compile.

Excellent for Streaming Church Services
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of creating live events as well as the options for distribution not only to popular social media channels, but also RTMP options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the most recent navigation to edit a video. It takes more steps than necessary to get into the distribution section for a video from the home page. I have to go into advanced settings to do a lot of backend editing.

Vimeo has helped us be able to stream easily to multiple platforms.
Excellent video quality with endless customization
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is to make adjustments to access, share with reviewers, monetize video content, and grow an audience. Every tool is available, without a single ad. Its well worth the money spent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fees to upgrade to the OTT system are significant because it provides a service unlike any other. I would upgrade if we could prove the value to our community. But the cost is prohibitive for us.

Vimeo is helping us host video content behind a paywall and feature live content in a way that is always excellent. It is also helping us reach new audiences and grow our community.

What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo males it easy to setup livestreams. If you are looking for a professional service vor livestreaming, there is no better option than Vimeo. Setup, streaming, marketing and on top lots of very interesting tipps to gain knowledge.

Unfortunetly you have to buy a licence for a whole year.

It is a professional plattform that offers lots of important features like embedding the video player into a website or customize the branding and features of the player.
