What do you like best about the product?
It is a great repository of stock video available in category where as a video designer you can custom search as per the need of video footage. All video footages are Full HD.
What do you dislike about the product?
search engine needs to be better refined sometimes it gives irrelevant search results which is not useful and word suggestion is needed in terms of indicator for alternative search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for the creation of custom videos for advertising or filler footage for different case studies or client wedding footage.

What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is one of the best video cms platform I have ever used , great community around videos , good video editing options available , the analytics feature works like a charm ,our team found analytics feature really useful apart from that any video upload and download speed is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike but free version of vimeo should have atleast 10GB of limit , paid plans seems little expensive here in india , also the feed personalization I haven't got better recommendation on my feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking for a platform to upload, manage, perform analytics on videos and vimeo seems like good option for that ! Video upload and download speed is amazingly fast.

What do you like best about the product?
One thing I’ve come to really appreciate about Vimeo is how clean and distraction-free the viewing experience , especially compared to other platforms. It really respects the work. Whether you're sharing with a client or showcasing a personal project, the focus stays entirely on the video itself. Also, the review tools are a huge win — being able to get frame-specific feedback directly on the video saves time and makes collaboration feel smoother and more intentional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vimeo overall offers a great experience, but there’s always room to improve. One area that could use attention is mobile optimization — sometimes the review tools feel a bit limited or clunky on smaller screens, especially when trying to leave time-coded comments. Also, while the creative tools are powerful, a more intuitive onboarding or tutorial system for newer users could help unlock their full potential faster. It’s a great platform, and polishing these small gaps could make it even more accessible and seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is nothing to do to solve Vimeo stock. Talking about benefits, I realized that there is much stock footage that I use for my showreel. It's easy to download, and the payment mode is also hassled free.

Vimeo stocks like no others. I cannot compare it with another site .it is far better than other stock footage sites. It has uncountable stock footage; you can use your work .strongly recommend Vimeo stock.

What do you like best about the product?
The embedding features are extremely customizable. We can make the video player our own color, add our own logo and even control what happens after a video is complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough to find something to complain about. If I have to choose something I would say being able to display a GIF as a preview would be super helpful when displaying our content online for reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the software to send videos to customers for review and the note feature is HUGE for us. It allows our customers to not only make requests, but to attach them to specific time stamps throughout the video.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
The organization by channels, lists and folders can be confusing, so I recommend from the beginning to plan the way in which we will save the videos, you can also use the option of tags. I also suggest that you identify the best internet time to upload videos, sometimes it seems to be saturated and it takes longer than usual.
Robust video hosting platform with fewer social and discovery features than YouTube
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vimeo allows us to host and share videos in a package that looks a little more professional than YouTube without as many social and discoverability features that could be potentially distracting to students in an educational context.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new interface for editing videos is needlessly more complicated than the old one. It essentially just adds additional layers of pages that you must click through to access the old interface, which is still necessary for most critical administrative functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are times when we need to share video content with staff, students, or faculty outside of our LMS or external parties that don't have access to our LMS. We have also realized that Vimeo is a valuable platform for live streaming.

The best thing about it is the usage and quality of the videos it provides.

I don't have such dislikes but yeah, the performance might increase a bit.

Very affordable, and they have a huge selection of videos to choose from. Great for individuals wanting to do commercials or short documentary or explainer videos. We use this for a variety of reasons in our business. Lots of extra resources as well, such as video school where you can learn more about video production.

You can find stock footage available to a membership tier; however some stock footage is for purchase and can be a lot more expensive. It can be difficult to navigate and find what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an affordable solution for video stock footage that can be used to create ads or commercials or any marketing. It can also be used for informational or explainer videos to further sell to your clients or just to inform them. We use it for all of the above.

It is free to try, and if you like it, you can upgrade to different plans they offer. There is a great selection of stock footage that can be used for any project.
