Perfect add on if your videos are already uploaded onto the Vimeo Server
What do you like best about the product?
Our videos are already on Vimeo for our institute, and, ideally, they have come up with a stock video library, so it makes it a one-stop solution rather than shopping around for royalty-free or paid videos. As we already have a paid plan with Vimeo, they have provided us a 20% discount on each clip and categorized us as "existing customers."
What do you dislike about the product?
The library at the current moment is not so comprehensive compared to other databases of stock videos. But eventually, with time, it should catch pace, and the collection will widen. But for our basic requirements, it has the perfect video library. We just require video add ons for the intro and outro of our lecture videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Vimeo Stock is solving is that we are not a group of IT or video editing specialists. So finding something in the same space as our lecture videos are uploaded makes life slightly more accessible.
The benefit we have realized is that even with the existing library, it fulfills the requirement for the majority of SMEs like us.

Great inventory, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of videos they have in their inventory - it is the most important thing when I use a platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't had any issues with Vimeo stock. Maybe more 4k videos would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been looking to include Vimeo Stock in the content that I create. I've been able to find relevant clips for my videos.

Vimeo Stock doesn't include any traditional videos showing different cultures around the world

I use Vimeo Stock to create promotional videos for the architectural firm that I work for
Not Your Cookie-Cut Stock
What do you like best about the product?
And what I like best is that this is not your typical cookie cut stock images and video. Sometimes you see the same images recirculate over and over again. This provides an opportunity to pull something unique.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand… However I do not like having to pay for another membership to access images. I wish there was a way to have access to some and then others are premium for a price per photo or video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I am solving is being able to have attention grabbing videos and images to access and incorporate into materials.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Vimeo, but my favorite thing about it is that you can upload as many videos as you would like. I switched to them from youtube and did not like that youtube makes you wait 24 hours each time you upload many videos; Vimeo does not make you do that.

There is nothing I have found that I don't like about Vimeo. It has been great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I stated before, you can upload as many videos as you want to Vimeo without having to wait a certain amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the overall ease-of-use of this platform from a video publishing standpoint, and also too the tools offered for video publishing on this platform. Generally, the breadth of these features are comparable, if not better, to other platforms/publishers in this space. I also find it is a faster publisher than others as well, which can be very helpful too!
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as platforms go, it is very good and serviceable, especially at the speed you can utilize in video publishing posting, but I believe that the internal/external audience could be improved, and by that I mean grown, at least from my standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video publishing and some light editing in a very timely manner (their internal posting process is more streamlined I feel)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very good platform for internal use, whether that be publishing, video hosting, or even some editing; I think the internal/external audience for this platform needs to grow for optimal, all-around use.

Best solution for hosting, streaming and, now, creating video.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to embed into websites, useful configuration tools for both live streaming and player embedding; RTMP features open new opportunities for simulcasts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to "edit" online since new features allow only to trim. Also, trimmed videos replace the originals, instead of being saved as a new one. Also, Studio is limited regarding gfx abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simultaneous streaming is sort of solved since a premium account allows at least two events streamed at once. Individual RTMP URL per event is also convenient for multi-channel live streaming.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you lack video hosting capacity, Vimeo is the answer. Also if you're stepping into live streaming, basic tools of oyur own combined with the power of Vimeo will boost your projects.

Vimeo is an affordable and efficient way to store and host my company's video projects. Its tools let me embed videos on my websites while customizing the interaction options.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's actually nothing I dislike about Vimeo. It's a better hosting and embedding option than YouTube and is significantly more affordable than other options on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a safe place to store video projects, but it's also a great way to host videos that I embed on my websites. The customization tools let me change color options to match branding, add calls-to-action on videos, and a varity of privacy settings. It also syncs with my caption provider, making that process pretty much as easy as it can be.
