Amazing photos on Vimeo!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you only need to enter a couple keywords for the image you're looking to find and you get so many options to pick from! We used to use Getty Images but found the Vimeo has a better selection of images to choose from!
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using Vimeo for a little over a year and I have yet to find something i dislike! Easy site to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company i work for puts on webinars and we ask that our clients send a marketing image along with their content. Sometimes they dont send an image so we need to select the image ourselves! That's what we use Vimeo for!

The moving images on the home page are neat but really distracting.

What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo, unlike other video platforms, allows you to upload high-end HD video content. This is important for those who are looking to show video quality when sharing content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issue with Vimeo is that, unlike other video platforms, it is not a search engine. Therefore, when people go to this site it will be harder for people to find you organically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Viemo we are able to upload our video content and then from Vimeo's embed link, embed the video onto our website and landing pages. It also is a place to house all out videos.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I now only need one subscription for my video marketing needs. Not only do I have a place to upload and host my videos, but the marketing tools and analytic capabilities are great. I absolutely LOVE the review feature. Previously I would have had to subscribe to Frame.io or a similar video review tool, but I am so thankful that Vimeo includes this as part of their Pro Plan. The other feature that I use frequently is Showcases. This makes it incredibly easy to create collections of client work for an elegant way to present final deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that Showcases can't be private. It would be great if we could create a private showcase for sensitive or unreleased client work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo helps me to host, market, review, and deliver my video content to my clients.
Vimeo is better than most video websites
What do you like best about the product?
The video quality is very high on Vimeo. Everything is usually crystal clear as long as the original footage was shot well. There is a big community of creators within Vimeo that are more professional and/or art-minded compared to general audience platforms like YouTube. It has remarkable tools for video management. I also like the socialization aspects of Vimeo that allow us to connect with other users directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
They limit the amount of storage space we get on Vimeo. The paid option is great, but I don't like that my files might get deleted if I forget to make a payment to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can show our videos on websites and directly through Vimeo that are high quality and can load quickly with most users. We can upload big videos fast. We can also use Vimeo to store and access many video files online. It allows us to save local storage space. This enhanced management ability is more optimized for video than our existing digtal asset management platforms. It's also more capable of embedding and other quick-launch capabilities.
All stocks at one place
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to search feature stands out the most. As it is really convenient and easy to navigate through.
What do you dislike about the product?
They should add more of the 4K element stocks like smoke, fire, and other visual effects stock.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier I had to search across the Internet for finding the variety of clips. Now I can do it at ease with Vimeo.
Great polished library of videos
What do you like best about the product?
I use stock footage for making B2B videos and I like the quality and variety in Vimeo's stock footage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to discover footage and I'd say it is on the expensive side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In times of the pandemic, it's difficult to shoot videos and to make promotional videos, stock footage comes in very handy. Using stock footage has helped us deliver in spite of the obstacles.
Easy custom videos with polished look

Easy to find a lot of premium stock videos/templates!

Great collection and regularly updated
What do you like best about the product?
As one of the older players in the game, there is a wide variety of content to select from and it's being constantly updated. Great for adding to website, ads as well as social media campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall a satisfactory experience. It's my main go to place to get my videos. There is content lacking in the kids area. There is also scarcity with animated and 3D content.

Most content is used as part of websites. Curated videos are used to run ads as well as social media campaigns. Overall the pricing structure provides great value for small business.
Love the review functionality
What do you like best about the product?
The customizable video players are nice and we have been using these on our website for several years. Where Vimeo has really come into its own has been for providing feedback on video content that we have been working with different video producers to create. It has completely streamlined the review and approval process from something which was slow and laborious to being very efficient. Sharing feedback on drafts has never been easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike. Overall I am very happy with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously a lot of time was spent in logging and sharing feedback on multiple versions and re-edits of videos, with lots of back and forth discussion via email. Now we have moved the entire process into Vimeo making everything much faster and efficient. It is now much less time consuming

I would recommend vimeo to anybody who works with external video production companies. It is a great platform to be able to provide feedback through.
