Easy and save way to host videos online
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to upload videos to your account, organize them, and set privacy settings. With the Pro or above accounts, you can set it so videos can only be embedded on certain domains.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may not be cost effective for you if you don't have many videos and don't need branding or privacy settings for your particular situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Vimeo for simple online hosting of videos for courses and promotional videos for websites. We organize into folders and set permissions accordingly. Team access is configured so it is easy to keep videos in the right place and anyone can upload them after a recording that needs to be placed on the website. Every player is on-brand so we still look great and profession image is preserved.

I like that Vimeo allows password protected video content.

The monthly cost can be slightly pricey.

Awesome Way to Get Free Stock Images for Designing Courses
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of images available and the reliability of open-source.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform glitches for me at times and I have to reload pages to get images to show up. Also, it would be cool to have GIFs play a role in Vimeo availability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The importance of visuals in design is obvious, but they are very important to the learning process as well. There will always be a need for visuals and with Vimeo Stock I have something to rely on.
Great for social media managers!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vimeo Stock to make on-the-fly content for social. The videos are wonderful and I love that you can turn any video into any format. The Vimeo Create app is also perfect for saving the video directly to my phone and posting on Instagram stories in just a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we could pay for this service peruse, instead of having to buy Vimeo Pro or Vimeo Business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was paying for Wipster but it makes sense that Vimeo Pro or Business users have access to these types of tools without having to pay an extra amount
My favorite Video Hosting App for working with clients.
What do you like best about the product?
We do video editing for clients and use the review function the most. It allows us to share videos with our clients and they can make comments on the timeline - helping our editors clearly understand what they need to change. Really awesome. Once edits are made, the editor replaces the video and the client can toggle between the previous version with their time-stamped comments and the current version to check edits. Works like a charm
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not exactly cheap but it is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we are solving is client communication. Although we really started using Vimeo to host our videos because Youtube started showing the other video ads at the end of their videos. We embed many videos on websites and really do not appreciate having some competitor's video pop up when a visitor finished watching ours. But after we started using it we found the review function and it changed our workflow completely.

It is a great addition to my existing Vimeo account, in other words, a good perk for those already using Vimeo.

Not quite as many options as other platforms such as Adobe stock or others.

Access to additional footage to supplement other platforms.
Paradise for the creators
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is such a great site that I keep visiting it for its curated collection of stock videos and songs. However, the most fantastic thing about Vimeo is that it has a section where you can get video clips according to your creative need. Just download it and edit it as you want on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course their subscription plans bruv!! Being in an exorbitant business structure with a numerous number of competitors, the pricing just doesn't honestly make sense to me. You yourself look at it. They charge around $70ish and provide only 5-6GB of upload in a week!!!! Whaaatt??? we must use youtube that's super awesome. Vimeo's unlimited plan is fake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Vimeo being a place where creators can upload their work to be used by anyone else who wants to use it the same way my advertising firm's creators used to download clips from youtube to use it in their video which was not possible to be shot, If you know what i mean.
Vimeo Stock Footage Review
What do you like best about the product?
Has a great collection of stock footage options to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs to offer better free high resolution options. If not high resolution, maybe 720p or 1080p
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do alot of video work for my company. As a result I need to have access to stock footage to include in my videos. Vimeo Stock is one of my first choices when it comes to finding stock footage. The benefit is I can typically quickly find what I need.
Better than most platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The easy search engines and free videos.

The membership fee is being too high with covid and all.

Lack of entertainment for underprivileged people. The best benefit is the no legal issues.
