What do you like best about the product?
Speed, Catalog, Search and editable options. Awesome interface. Super Reliable. The review links are so helpful. Comments and version control right on the review link is vital. The playback quality is superior to everything we tested.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some companies have web filter against all vimeo.com links this results in us being blocked, we bypass it by using vimeopro.com. Another thing that can vimeo needs is a caption/subtitle auto generator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Version Control, Client sharing, Hosting, MultiDevice access. Remote Work among editors is easier. Also hosting all our final projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the review links that alone is worth it. We could not function without them. Also their price is very competitive.

Uploading content is so fast and easy. And very user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
As a novice for video on demand, I've found the user interface to be fairly clear and easy to determine steps without having to dig into the training. The ability to share videos and establish privacy settings has been extremely helpful as we build out our library of lectures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not as intuitive as I would like, but I may just be biased based on other system experiences. For instance, getting to the subtitles/captions area can be tedious and doesn't seem as easy to find as other items on the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Embedding videos into our LMS is super easy using Vimeo and it allows us easier control when videos need to be updated or captions added than it would be within the LMS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend reviewing the documentation for accessibility items so you can find them easier if you select this service. Outside of that, everything is pretty straightforward so I think you will be able to evaluate it easily to know if it meets the need your company has.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It embeds well and is easily accessible and shareable via direct link. That makes things very easy to do!
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be lag sometimes, not always, depending on the video that is being displayed. It also happens more with LiveStream events than it does with pre-recorded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Vimeo to LiveStream our campus chapels so that we can keep our students distanced during this pandemic,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give this a try. You will find that using this platform is quite easy and could help solve distribution issues you may have using other platforms where you have to share videos or do live streams.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Vimeo is the audience is a bit mature and feedback is more on the mature side. Vimeo doesn’t have advertisements as their focus is not on making money from advertising which is a serious turn off when watching videos. You won’t see adds before videos or in the middle of any video. You will never be overwhelmed by unwanted adds while watching videos on Vimeo. You can easily download videos and watch them offline later. You can update any video once it has been published and you can still keep the stats of your previous video. All of the view count, statistics, likes and comments will still remain as they were there in a previous version. You can simply replace a video with an improved version of your video. It doesn’t disable your video as it’s not that strict but you have to be careful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike about Vimeo is that it doesn’t have too much of free storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best feature on Vimeo has is that you can put a password on your videos if you don’t want it to be seen by anyone else beside your clients. A password protected video will only been seen if you have a password. You can simply share the link to the video and share the password. And if you don’t want anybody to add comments to your video, you can do that as well. Similarly, you can also restrict viewers from downloading your videos if you don’t want it to be downloaded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You experience maturity on Vimeo. If you are targetting serious comments and feedback then Vimeo is way much better than alternatives which are available.

How everything in built in for you and you don't have to worry about liscening.

There are some features that I would like to see, but I'm sure they are in their pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Templetized content creation with liscensing built in is amazing. I can get my point accrossed without having to spend the extra time to wrangle all the assets.

Choice of stock, platform user-friendly (almost like a Netflix for stock footage), and designed for videographers

The pricing, while fair, can be high at times.

Video stock has the potential to work well for social media content (in my area of work).

What do you like best about the product?
Most of my clients don’t have the budgets traditionally needed to create compelling videos for their Amazon product pages and sponsored brand ads (both of which are essential for success on Amazon). I’m so happy that we’re able to create amazing videos for them in a cost-effective way. I’ve used several video editing platforms before and Wibbitz is by far the easiest to use with the most professional end product.

I love the templates and wish there were, even more, to choose from.
