Easy to Use Live Stream Software
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is user friendly and efficient when you need live stream video options

Sometimes the connection is spotty, but that also could be helped with internet connection

We are solving the problem of not being able to meet due to COVID so using vimeo videos to supplement meetings

What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of videos I am able to access on Vimeo. I show a lot of videos and clips which I cannot always find elsewhere and the quality and accessibility on Vimeo is good.
I think this will be another good tool in the distance learning tool box. I am always seeking new ways to connect with my students.

What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some issues with the "not appropriate for classroom" thumbnails/videos which show up. Sometimes, if I am projecting a video, or getting it set up, I'll notice something which is not appropriate for me to have onscreen below the one I am pulling up. I am not super comfortable linking Vimeo out to my students knowing that's there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found access to documentaries and even some network shows which are perfect for my Sociology and Psychology classes. The stream is usually very good. If we have problems streaming, we can usually solve that with a quick refresh.
I am interested in using the livestream feature. I will use that during this pandemic. I didn't know this was available.

Fairly user intuitive and straightforward.

Had slight connection issues. I am not sure whether it was Vimeo or on my end.

Customer Service Stinks!
What do you like best about the product?
Livestream looked like a good solution for our church streaming needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of limitations when interfacing with Wirecast, we tried to cancel our account after only one day. Their website said they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. The cancel button would only let me cancel the renewal for the next year, and not my current subscription that was only one day old. Tried calling but can only get salespeople, who say they can't help. I've gone through their "support" email system twice with no reply, other than the automated email that says they received my email. I get a help ticket number, but no replies in over a month. Customer service is horrible. Looks like I'm going to have to pay $900 for something I can't use.

Vimeo plays videos with high resolution
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to upload videos that don't contain ads and other distracting elements that can take our viewers focus away. The price for the upgrade is good compared to additional hosting costs associates with high quality video streams. The look of Vimeo is minimal and more professional than other popular video hosting solutions. I like the extensive options we get such as embedding and disabling video suggestions at the end of our video's playback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into substantial issues with the performance of our Vimeo videos. If I wanted to make it better, I would probably add more advanced editing features that could give us the same caption control and effects quality that YouTube editing tools have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a competitive price, we can use Vimeo to publish web videos that are easy to access through our website, Facebook and through the Vimeo website. We can add keywords in our title and description to have them pop up more frequently in related Google searches. We can also add links that can allow viewers to learn more about our services and other business items.

I think it's good to use a thumbnail that can capture people's attention. It's also good to use keyword in your video title, because much of the keyword weight in search engines might come from words in the title.

What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo provides a wide range of features that suite every need of our organisation. This includes support for multiple video formats for upload, embedding to any social media platforms, information security features that provide privacy of videos and a great and fast reaction support team whenever there are issues that arise (0 downtime).
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we mainly use Vimeo in corporate videos, we have set the privacy settings to high this setting is applied to all videos when you configure this on the settings. We hope to have a feature to set privacy to individual videos and also allow folder organisation so that we can structure how we upload videos on the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The privacy settings is a charm. Although a bit to tough, we have managed to safe keep our internal videos to just our organisation. Vimeo also has the feature of sharing videos as link this also allowed us to share videos to external stakeholders but with read only access. The download options was also beneficial to our organisation as we have offices globally and sometimes internet hinders a good stream the download option was the best shot of getting the communication out with out any issues.

We can manage our videos with tools on Vimeo that allow us to add descriptions.

There are things that I do not like about vineo as it is the high cost of their plans are very high but in one way to another you can choose the plan that suits your pocket this application has to have a good plan for the software to work well and you can upload your videos faster than if they have a very economical plan it makes it difficult for you to upload the videos or share them but it is a good tool for my taste. It is not very different from most other video websites that exist today. When I upload videos, loading times are generally not as long in relation.

What has been progressively improving is that we can upload our videos to any web page is impressive as you can see your videos immediately on the web and with an incredible warmth, this tool I love has been improving its applications very much, so continue thanks.

vimeo is a web page with online video service, that is very clear, the service offered is very intuitive, it cannot be denied.

Vimeo does not have exactly much quality in what it offers, its main disadvantage is its plans, since they became extremely expensive compared to how much they were, and if you do not update the membership they limit you a lot, your customer service system It is totally a waste of time, its speed when loading the videos is totally slow and the loaded video is always cut, it can be said that there are many more points against that in favor of vimeo.

From the beginning I subscribed to Vimeo to use it in the company where I currently work, since it is a good alternative to upload video links and play them later, whether they are personal training videos or others, but now I consider the price of the plans, since they are extremely expensive, vimeo used to be one of the best pages in his field and I hope he will be what he was before.

vimeo is a very nice platform, has a very intuitive interface and is very easy to use, but details such as the price in particular followed by the slow transmission of video, customer service problems and others, make vimeo a page not very reliable in front of its competitors, however I am certain that Vimeo will soon recover and launch updates, all in favor of the development of the company and that is where Vimeo will do what it was before, a perfect website for hosting and broadcasting videos in general.
