Vimeo OTT Review - VOI Plus
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo gives us confidence that our media content is secure and fully under our control—something we don’t always get with other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I don’t have any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the OTT side, they’ve been making great strides in designing a user interface that feels familiar and competitive with top streaming platforms. They also provide us with yearly roadmaps that outline their upcoming goals and innovations aimed at improving the user experience.
Vimeo continues to deliver streamlined solutions in a highly-polished package.
What do you like best about the product?
Clean interface, flexible presentation, and the ability to develop more opportunities for monetization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back-end (OTT Dashboard) leaves a bit to be desired in terms of intuitive navigation and functionality at time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to maintain a paywall in front of our content to create monetization in new areas, while also allowing us an avenue to communicate and market to our unique audience along the way.

What do you like best about the product?
Over the last year, Vimeo OTT has expanded its horizons and capabilities to stay on top of creator needs in the streaming community. With products that look as sleek as big name studios, Vimeo OTT allows creators the opportunity to showcase their work in an environment that's neatly organized, elegantly displayed, and easy to use.
From the initial on-boarding to daily use, the Vimeo support team is there for any questions and concerns. They make what could be a monumental hurdle feel easy with their ability to integrate existing metadata into your new library of uploads. Plus, the customization of your OTT platform allows your viewers to have an experience tailored to your content's strengths, giving you the control to put the creative you want to highlight in front of them in an easily digestible UI.

What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics currently available for Vimeo OTT are fairly barebones at the moment, however the Vimeo OTT team is actively working on addressing this. Additionally, there are no options for multitrack audio and the livestream engagement features are significantly limited compared to other livestream platforms. As Vimeo OTT continues to grow, I have no doubt these updates will be rolled into their future packaging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most concerning part about being a creator in the current environment is the ever-evolving landscape of reliable revenue. Having Vimeo OTT has allowed us a modicum of stability in an otherwise fluctuating creative field.
It's been great to use Vimeo for our OTT technology partner.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is easy to use. It's great to be able to organize all our content in an easy way to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is a bit lacking, and there are many functions that are not available. Seems like they should be soon, but not available yet. Also, a lot of our customers have issues accessing videos, and having technical difficulties. Not many want to go trough customer service. Many just give up and unsubscribe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a subscription service, and Vimeo handles all of our technical requirements. From hosting videos, to payments, etc.

Vimeo OTT is the unifying full service that exceeds expectations

I have yet to have a time where I have a problem or question where someone from Vimeo isn't able to quickly and succinctly get to the solution for me
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times the delay in feature requests for apps etc can take a long time to trickle down the line to engineers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to create an app or a family of apps across platforms would require multiple full time staff, Vimeo OTT looks after us as a Non-Profit while maintaining budgetary requirements

Automatically uploads my videos from zoom and helps me keep them organized. Easy to share video links.

There isn't much I have found that I dislike about vimeo. It does what I need and does it well!

Vimeo keeps all my video recordings for my business organized and accessible.
