There is nothing that I do not like. It is a great software.

Vimeo is Perfect for Filmmakers
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is a very aesthetically pleasing video hosting website with high video quality streaming. The interface is easy to use in all aspects. Vimeo links are easy to share as well as to embed into other platforms. Another great tool it that it has wonderful privacy settings, and it makes it very easy to set up passwords to protect your work. Vimeo is extremely reliable and affordable for small film companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike to Vimeo is the storage limit because some big projects take up a lot of space. One other issue is it's sometimes difficult for people to find your videos in the search bar. Other than these two things Vimeo is far ahead of its competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo has an incredible reputation for high quality content compared to other video hosting websites, therefore, my company only uses Vimeo to send out any links.
Vimeo can be better than YouTube for business purposes at times
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is really easy to use. Uploading videos is a breeze, and then there are a number of controls that allow for quality control over your video and how it shows up when it's embedded. I especially love two things: being able to loop videos with an easy button, and being able to choose the cover image from the actual video. That makes it super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not too much I don't like. I guess that the free version gives you a low level of Gigs, but at the same time, for my purposes I don't need much more than the GB it provides. Overall, I've been very happy with Vimeo
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I especially love two things: being able to loop videos with an easy button, and being able to choose the cover image from the actual video. That makes it super easy and quick when managing multiple videos and needing to get them up on my website super quickly without adding unnecessary steps, like screen-shotting the cover image I want and then uploading it, etc. Vimeo makes it super easy and straightforward.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall Vimeo gets the job done. It's not a replacement for YouTube, but I think it works both as a standalone and a complimentary product/service to YouTube. YouTube is still more popular, so you can't disregard it completely. But Vimeo definitely has some great reasons to be happy with what it offers to its customers.
Vimeo gives a Video Production Company everything they need.
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo has a basic business plan that is extremely affordable and allows up to 5GB of uploads every week... which for a startup Film company is plenty with leftovers too. Also, the ability to password protect projects for review is a nice feature to insure that no one sees a customer's film before it is approved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vimeo has a video conversion wait time associated with your plan and also doesn't allow for live streaming on any of the lesser plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having videos password protected solves the problem of customers being able to view the progress of their product without the whole world being able to see their unfinished film.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Vimeo gives you what you pay for, so if your company has a video production need and a budget to pay for it, vimeo can accomplish!

It is easy to use and vimeo has a huge library of videos that you can watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of advertisements and it slows down the videos sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to have instructional videos posted for others in the division to see.

Get rid of most of the advertisements as it slows the process.
Vimeo is great for hosting video content
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Vimeo Pro for our company for a few years and have nothing to complain about. I work for a non-profit and Vimeo is a great place to host video content for our website as well as sharing videos with others to use on their sites or to download.
It is super easy to grab an embed code and change up the features of how it looks when it is embeded. You can even remove the Vimeo branding and add your own logo! It makes it look super clean and never clunky! It also makes it look like our own content and not just some video we found on Vimeo which is a big plus!
The other cool thing is customizable links, especially being a non-profit with multiple sub departments. This makes it easy to share a link over the phone or have one that is easy to remember when sending to others and the privacy settings are fantastic!

The only thing maybe the upload limit each week. This can be a problem if we have a lot of stuff going one week, but generally it is ok. Ultimately, you can upgrade to a higher level for less limits.

We use it to host video content for our website as well as video sharing with others.

You should definitely give it a try. LOTS of good features!

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of uploading our sermons from our Sunday services. It is very quick upload process and works well as cross functioning with other software we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure there is anything that we dislike of the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This gives us a central place to upload all of our messages. We no longer has to have a dedicated hard drive to save all sermons in house.

Decide if you need additional weekly storage space before purchasing the Pro package.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to postpone the Vimeo branding and the different clickable buttons on the webpage while integrating into a webpage. It is also quite simple to apply.

I didn't like that they didn't have a live feature, however, they might currently be launching it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to offer video to participants without having to host it on the website or move through AWS. It's simple, it seems extraordinary and easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use YouTube in the appropriate way; however, I choose Vimeo for everything I would like to be extraordinary for my logo. I study it as a professional way to provide videos to my potential and prospective clients instead of just social media.
