A glance @ Vimeo Pro
What do you like best about the product?
- In one word: "Elegant"!!!
- I like very much the customization features for the video player.
- Generated links are easy to use/view/resend
- Good handling of galleries and albums

What do you dislike about the product?
- Price should be half of the actual monthly/annual cost, i.e. 10US$
- I think there should exists a wide base of "Direct to Vimeo" plugins for Video Editing applications
- Personally haven't used it for "moneytizing", but heard from and employee that he had an issue with her deposit, can't confirm it though.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Just like "youtube", I have not suffered from downtimes. I really like that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Putting aside the "elevated" monthly price (20US$) is a really good choice for publishing.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, we can make our videos private to just our organization. Easy to share across all of our platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only 20gb/week of storage. That limits the quality of videos we can upload. I understand that we could upgrade to a program with more storage, but for our organization, the pro plan is the best price for what we need to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting all of our videos on a private platform. Youtube just doesn't work for what we want to do. We've been able to publish to all of our platforms from Vimeo.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Vimeo Pro allows you to add time-coded notes during the video! This is great because it allows clients to collaborate on the video and contribute their own edits. They can click on these time-coded notes to elaborate on what parts they like or what parts they want to be cut out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there are STILL banner ads, despite this being a paid service. At a bare minimum, Vimeo Pro should remove ads. Another aspect I dislike is the upload size. You are only able to upload 500MB per week, which I feel is pretty low for a "pro" account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo Pro allows me to securely share my videos with collaborators which helps so much with the editing process. Not only is the quality of video immensely better, the advanced stats Vimeo Pro offers helps me track engagement.

Vimeo PRO is the best (and most affordable) way for creative professionals to share their videos

Cost-effective, ample storage space, team collaboration, professional statistics, professional player customization, review tools, customizable portfolio sizes, private mode, video on demand, ability to upload with ads.

You need editing software to integrate ads before uploading.

The problem of having my brand completely marketed by the viewer.

What do you like best about the product?
Back end admin is super straightforward. Easy to embed videos.

Wish their was Marketo integration. The default titling on embedded videos is a bit dated looking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distribution platform of webinar content and customer profile stories has been the main focus on my end. Upside has been broader engagement through various channels with video.
Vimeo is best for Mobile & Easy Uploads
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo does best on mobile compared to any other premium video hosting service. No ads and easy uploads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, the linking for particular minutes and seconds gets stripped out of some social posts, like Facebook, but that isn't Vimeo's problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to share insurance conferences for the past 4 years with Vimeo. It beats the ad-heavy alternatives out there, like YouTube, that take away from the experience of brandless, and adless, embedding.
