Submittable for Events
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating my own format and my own control over the formatting and editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price - Submittable used to be monthly per users, but the rate is a flat rate now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Submittable for a business pitch competition - the application and review segments.
Great customer support.
What do you like best about the product?
If Cynthia Underhill were the one representative I worked with, I would rate WizeHive Zengine 10/10. She was a fantastic assistant!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the other employees lacked any sort of response when we would ask questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have implemented this solution for all of our flight training and post-secondary scholarships. The specific program I use the platform for a new program that required vetting of local chapters, and then vetting of their nominated scholar. We also require multiple progress checks along the way. We are currently creating an API between WizeHive and our CRM Aptify. This tie will greatly improve the efficiency of our programs and tracking. This track will eventually lead to more in-depth studies of the flight training process.

I liked that he was patient and gave us homework to work hands on with

At the beginning I thought I was not going ton get it but after Ed started uploading our training videos then it became really easy to follow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a more practical and easier way to go through hundreds of application. I think it is going to make my life easier and with less stress
Is way better than what we were using previously!

the ability to easily see applications as they come in and edit them as needed

there are certain limitations that hinder our ability to be as effective as we would like and some processes are somewhat complicated to complete

Streamlined, Straightforward and Clean
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for our grant applicants, reviewers, and grant winners and fast and reliable assistance from the WizeHive support team and help tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I add a new field to an existing form, having to take an additional step to make the field viewable/editable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a simpler user interface that identifies for our applicants, reviewers, grant winners, and admins what they've completed, what's due, and when. WizeHive Zengine has done that for us. Affording our Program Management team more time to focus on the communities we serve and understanding the impact of our work.
WizeHive...flexible...great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
WizeHive is great because it is super flexible and allows you to customize for various types of programs
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have better UI/UX. There are a few places where they use language to describe what to do next but better UI/UX design would eliminate the need to explain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run multiple programs and WizeHive helps us track the applicants, their demographic data, and allows us to pull this data via their API into other sources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend some time getting to know the features while you have your implementer...and watch the videos they provide.
IFT Wizehive review
What do you like best about the product?
I like how wizehive has helped us streamline our nomination and applications across our company. It is easy to collect information more easily for staff, as well as the review process for members and staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could sometimes re arrange the workspace to the way I flow things after it is created. I also wish I could see if duplicate applications are complete easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were collecting information on excel sheets and copying and pasting a lot back and forth. Now, we can export the process once completed. Easy to track application submissions, draft applications. Uploading and jury assignments are easier.
WizeHive is an exceptional solution
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface - exceptional customer support -- easy to manage a huge amount of application data. Customer support does a great job both of teaching users/managers/administrators how to fully engage and use the product, but is also very willing to manage those items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some elements we would like to customize aren't there yet, but doesn't limit functionality...these are "nice to have but not vital" items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a stable, user-friendly platform to handle a high volume of applicants (~200,00). In the first year of using WizeHive, our call and email support volume dropped precipitously (likely more than 90%), as users could resolve their own password resets or find the technical support directly from WizeHive, which we did not have from the previous vendor. Customer support is a dream -- quick to respond, available when we need them.
The best system for both front end user and back end staff satisfaction. Best decision we made!
What do you like best about the product?
- It has made the application, which is almost identical to the application questions previously displayed by our old service, seem less daunting and more user friendly to grant applicants.
- The grant review team has exclaimed that the side-by-side review option is the best feature ever invented and has saved them loads of paper.
- Internally, I appreciate the ease of use of the back end system. Being able to easily assign grants to reviews both in and outside the organization, easily create queries for the stats I need, and the ability to move application through the steps of the system seamlessly make this my top choice since I'm the only staff member dedicated to the Foundation which leaves me with lots on my plate to balance.

I haven't found anything yet. At this point, I'm thrilled with each of the features and the ease of use of the system.

The ability to only pay for the features we needed for a system that is easy to use by all is considered a perfect ROI for selected WizeHive Zengine.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! You won't regret it. From the implementation team to the support team, everyone is extremely helpful. Our grant review team is comprised of volunteers who rave about the switch we made in going to WizeHive. Despite not being strong on technical skills, they were trained and confident in a matter of hours and hit the ground running right after.
Great Platform. New Pricing and Plan Restructure Screwed Our Organization
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is flexible! Create your own forms and review forms on the back-end. Really nice for abstract management. The export feature is helpful. Easy to sign up and very few complaint about how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing restructure screwed our organization. We pay for a few months/year. Now in order to have custom forms we need to sign a pro-rated annual contract. Please allow custom forms in the regular tier-pricing. Now we are essentially held hostage. We can't have blind reviews without signing a contract. The annual contract is now forcing us to buy service we don't need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is solid for abstract submission.
