Compliant infrastructure made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Our experience with Citadel was very good, straightforward to use and get up and running, even when we had little AWS experience.
In addition to supplying compliant infrastructure, the Citadel platform allowed to us to easily set up other features like hosted zones and configure VPN access easily.
Having a contact within Citadel on-hand was an invaluable resource; he was responsive and enabled us to resolve several issues quickly that otherwise would have taken a lot longer.
Citadel definitely helped us get started faster than we would have without them.

What do you dislike about the product?
In some regards, the platform is still developing and lacks maturity, but I have every confidence that the platform will continue to improve and get better with time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Citadel has solved the problem of having security-compliant infrastructure and having to worry about it ourselves. We saved a lot of time and resources having to learn how to do this ourselves.

Customer support has been good. Interface makes monitoring compliance scores easy.

Reporting to stakeholders not as easy as it could be.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to get Citadel setup and running in our AWS environment to get us compliant quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Migrating our app into Citadel took a bit longer, but that is inherint with the problem that it solves, not an issue with the product as such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were working to get AWS FTR (Foundational Technical Review) in place which was going to take us a number of months to achieve ourselves, but by implementing Citadel we could do most of that work out of the box and now we're on our way.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform has a simple-to-navigate user interface. It offers features for security and compliance like SOC 2 ISO 27001 HIPAA, PCI DSS and CDR.
It is effortless to deploy it through the platform.
Overall I recommend this company's platform due to its user interface, comprehensive features and exceptional customer support team are highly knowledgeable and responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. I appreciate the company's efforts to provide a valuable experience. From what I saw, I believe they can overcome any challenges and keep improving their product.

At our company, we rely on Citadel software to migrate our client's infrastructure to the AWS cloud and modernise their application. With Citadel we can effectively manage our resources, improving its overall visibility. Furthermore, it ensures compliance with industry regulations and best practices by implementing controls and policies which for us guarantees a secure transition into the AWS cloud.
Accelerate and de-risk AWS Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Citadel has been super helpful for us at DNX, accelerating our cloud migration/modernisation projects. That brings a high standard to AWS well-architected Security and Compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am waiting for new features for cost management and reporting on current environments, but nothing major in the current product version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Citadel is solving the problem of creating high secure AWS environments for us.
I can focus on what is important
What do you like best about the product?
I don't have to think about infrastructure/AWS environment + the compliance piece that goes along with it. It's all just there. It removes complexity and overhead so we can focus on what is the most important for us - our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found anything that we dislike, overall it's been a positive experience. The UI is well thought out and we can achieve what we want to achieve and be hands off.

Quick and easily deployed, meaning our compliance was accelerated and we could focus on high-value development work.

I can't wait for it to do more as the new features are built out providing even more coverage.

Simplified AWS Foundations
What do you like best about the product?
Citadel makes setting up a compliant and secure landing zone a breeze. It allows you to start with a best-practice AWS well-architected deployment and focus on building or managing your organisation's products or services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any bad experiences with Citadel so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to worry about creating and maintaining infrastructure as code for AWS well-architected landing zones means we can focus on applications and business value. Having a platform that keeps a lookout on compliance drift gives me peace of mind for my customers. The as-built document is a nice feature that makes my life easier.

What do you like best about the product?
We love Citadel, a SaaS solution for managing AWS Cloud Environments. Citadel removes the complexity of configuring secure and compliant AWS accounts so we can get our team to focus on core product development. We highly recommend Citadel to anyone who understands the importance of a robust, secure platform to build digital products.
