there are a number of customization for your specific needs, and it's very expensive in terms of costs and it's not easy for some organizations to afford it

It solves the problem of data management and organize all the funds and proposals very easy and getting back to them is also very easy
Fluxx has revolutionized our grant management process
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule reports and payments and no longer using excel to track when reports or payments are due. Being able to use workflows to manage requests/grants as they move through the due diligence and then the grant-making cycle. Having the ability to generate grant agreements and other word documents, pulling in data from Fluxx. Having the ability to trigger alert emails, especially for external reviewers. Building filters and ad hoc reports make data accessible as well as the connected data tab is very useful- and the amendment feature is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it takes for Fluxx to respond to support tickets. Fluxx performance can be slow. Having to submit tickets for custom Ruby code is tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are scaling our grantmaking and rather than adding more and more grant officers, we implemented Fluxx to automate manual excel and word-based processes. We also benefit from the fact that now that all grants are in a central location, reporting across various entities' grant-making is possible - previously it was difficult to consolidate the grant-making across entities. Fluxx also acts as a central repository for all grant-related documents. Having multi-currency allows us to cater to local currencies as well as a base currency for reporting - which makes use of the nightly FX rate integration. Decrease in the time it takes to conduct due diligence, increase in the transparency of the grantmaking, reporting and payment processing and pulling ad hoc reports for operational and management information purposes are major benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We looked at a range of systems and initially thought Fluxx would be too expensive, but after implementing a minimal viable product for just one program, the rest of the grant-making entities in the Group wanted to leverage off the initial implementation and we needed to cater for multiple entities, multiple programs, multiple currencies, multiple funding sources - had we chosen a different product we would not have been able to scale the implementation when the scope changed to significantly. Multiple currencies are a key consideration if you make grants in different currencies. Building out the back-end requires a higher degree of technical proficiency, than a typical system admin, it goes beyond adding new users and unlocking users, who've locked themselves out, so unless you are comfortable with the cost and key reliance on Fluxx resources or Fluxx consultants, you need a team member that can learn to build forms, understands the data structure (models), knows or can learn basic HTML and CSS as well as Liquid code syntax. Without such a key resource you run the risk of not utilizing the features Fluxx has to offer and you will be paying for a premium product, but only using its basic features.
User and Admin Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's very user friendly and admin friendly. It understands many different situations. You can also customize it too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any downside of this system.

Managing grants and making sure everybody is in the same page.
Great Grantmaking Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Fluxx Grantmaker is an easy way to access, manage and approve grant applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fluxx Grantmaker is limited in the number of actual persons on the grantee side that receive access to the grant application and associated account. For larger organizations, this can sometimes be restrictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fluxx Grantmaker allows colleagues at my organization as well as consultants to the organization to review grant applications, make comments and leave feedback. This allows the individual team members to work on their own time and at their own pace to leave feedback but for the team to work collaboratively through the grantmaking process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fluxx Grantmaker will help your team work collaboratively and be more efficient through the grantmaking process to ultimately achieve your mission and goals through grantmaking.
Managing Grant with Fluxx Grantmaker
What do you like best about the product?
The ticket system for support is very easy to use also they respond back to you within days. The power of adaptability of fluxx and converting data easily into an excel is very good. The training program of Flux to become admin from grant seeker is very easy. Our organisation is really enjoying Fluxx community and got benefit from the community.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally dislike this thing that I am a bit not satisfied with the reporting feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Fluxx our organisation members can work from anywhere also they are able to see pending information in real time. With this Fluxx really changed our working style.

You can use this software to make you daily tasks easier
Fluxx for Non Profit
What do you like best about the product?
FLUXX is our main database for all of our grant tracking. I've become very familiar with the software and am able to monitor grants at all stages.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasion bugs and the admin panel is not that user friendly to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great tool to have all our your grant information/documents in one place. Really easy to use.
Organized Grants Within Hours
What do you like best about the product?
I easily transitioned from a spreadsheet to Fluxx. It only took a few hours of data entry and I could see my goals and which grants I need to be awarded to reach the goals. I also love the Add Task feature, which improves team communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a calendar type screen to show me a snapshot of the month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was losing track of grant info and deadlines with a spreadsheet. Fluxx allows me to keep the Executive Director up to date in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a FREE software. Every startup non-profit should start using Fluxx.
Fluxx Software for Grantmakers
What do you like best about the product?
This software is easy to use and update! It's fantastic for navigating multiple grants and I'm impressed with the smoothness of the interface as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an occasional lag in updating but it could definitely be due to my slow internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many different grants that are managed through Fluxx Software for Grantmakers and the benefits are definitely in the ease of navigation and multi-grant management. It makes it easy to take care of all of the steps that are necessary to manage our grants.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd say that this is a fantastic program, especially to manage multiple grants. We've been impressed every step of the way. TN Arts Commission changed to this platform last year and definitely was for the best.
