Finally, a vendor agnostic SOAR platform that's flexible and minimal in the best way.
What do you like best about the product?
Tines isn't locked in to any particular vendor. It has support for dozens of different apps and platforms. The new formulas have made writing automations extremely quick and easy. I've found native support for every automation I've built so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the interface can be a little clunky, specifically when trying to edit strings or create new pills. There's a fair learning curve involved when you first get started, but eventually it all just clicks and building automations becomes quick and painless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, Tines helps us automate some of our operational work, especially as it relates to alerting and detection. We leverage it to automatically enrich our detections with additional context from third-party sources.
Automation and Logging Combined!
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the automation that's built into the events system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating to learn the event system initially. Documentation around what is / isn't an object in liquid can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is solving a no-infra logging and incident response system.
Great Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Tines makes using REST APIs incredibly easy. The autocomplete functionality, ability to insert dynamic variables into JSON elements, and powerful liquid syntax language makes sending and recieving data from multiple sources a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tines is missing some advanced scheduling functionality. Currently, you can only schedule recurring events to occur in set intervals (e.g. every hour, every week) but not with custom schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines can take really complex tasks that use webservices and automate them in a really simple and easy to understand format. The same implementations in tines done with code would quickly become too complex.

Works great! I haven't used any other competitors, but I recommend tines.

Easy to code, this tool helps you build solutions without having much experience in programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has so many updates coming through, sometimes the updates need you to adjust your existing flow of actions to new set of actions based on config updates

What do you like best about the product?
Tines is by far the best low/no-code automation platform I've used. Compared to other solutions, its versatility and power are unmatched. While there’s a learning curve due to the vast number of features, the excellent documentation makes it easy to discover new functionalities.
Tines’ pre-built templates and story library are incredibly helpful for getting started. Once you're familiar with how it works, creating custom workflows becomes straightforward. The ability to track time saved through automation is a great way to demonstrate ROI, and it’s a huge advantage to be able to collaborate with other team members on automation without needing coding skills. The range of options available in the platform allows you to automate even the most complex workflows with ease.
Overall, Tines is a game changer for SOAR automation. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, easy to use solution and amazing support team.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes about Tines overall, one area for enhancement would be the Change Control process. If multiple people are working on changes within a story, it would be really useful to have the ability to approve changes on a per user basis and have a easier view of the changes.

Tines is solving all problems related to automation and collaboration. It simplifies complex workflows with its low/no-code platform. The flexibility of the tool allows for customized solutions, while pre-built templates help you get started quickly.
Excellent SOAR Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of building automation and very responsive tech support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation and examples are still limited. There are learning curves for those are new to the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration and automation between different security tools. Users may not need to be good at coding to achieve the automation goals.
Excellent Product with Tons of Potential
What do you like best about the product?
GUI is easy to understand, making automating workflows simple even if little to no coding experience. Templates are great for finding common actions. Most common operations and actions are possible with the platform, so it can handle a wide range of your automation needs. New features I didn't know I needed are always being implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The self-hosted version usually gets updated after the cloud version, so moving actions/stories between the two gets tricky sometimes. Seeing them updated simultaneously or enabled partial backwards-compatibility would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team doesn't have many people with great programming experience, so Tines makes it easy to automate and build integrations without code. It also keeps development and hosting on the same platform, which is great.

No code Automation, very east to automate any process in very less time , drag and drop

Unable to run any python scripts, other than that everything is awesome

Making all our investigation very easy, removes all FPs, off boarding, remediation and many more exciting stuffs

The finer details of tweaking modules requires at least a little bit of coding knowledge and understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to really cut out having to log into 3 different apps with what can essentially just be a Yes/No button click in something like Slack. It didn't take long to get some proof of concepts going.
Excellent tool with Capable Security Automation Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Tines has a feature loaded application that uses modern components workflows to easily solve a lot of problems that security teams are facing. Tines provides built in solution with its well documented story libraries that we can use to understand what we can do with our existing set of data. This inclued adding new functionality, new webhooks, integrating with Slack. The enormous number of AWS integration helps us to solve a lot of issues within a very less period of time. The have a very clean user interface for everyone to understand the product. Monitoring is as important for security teams and they provide logging and monitoring out of the box which is a great thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues until now. The products works good.Ideally recommend to include custom sign on platform integration that would help corporate identity platforms to be integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We usually prefer to use python for automating a lot of our problems. With times we always have a better approach in terms of how easy we can get things done, auditing our solution, having logs and permissions, workflow editor to quickly change and add the features and deploy it within seconds. With tines our teams started building productive solutions within sprints and were able to progress with the Yearly schedules as faster as ever. The no code platfor allows non technical team in our people and managers who has lesser experience and expore to code to bring their ideas quickly and fast to production.
