I have used NX for over 20 years. Fantastic product

New sketcher is very different than old sketch.

NX is solving part creation from concept through build stages.

Quality CAD tool
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interfaces and NX open provides endless opportunities for automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking functionality in key business areas and other CAD tools execute very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX is our CAD tool and working to make it our enterprise CAD tool.
great user support, focus to improve product for the user.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to manage for basic workflows, and the robust search command makes it easy to surface useful commands. Generally, tooltips are very handy, and i feel like when approaching a new command, I can effectively get usage out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all large pieces of software, there are some minor annoyances on how things should function or non-show-stopping bugs that sometimes don't get addressed in updates. While continues release feels like its helping, the software is easily getting so large and encompassing that its not always possible to release something that is 100%
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX CAD is constantly trying to solve the issue of efficiency and accuracy. While i know that in my work environment, we dont always implement these tools and workflows, I do see the commitment that CAD is taking in making sure that when we are ready to enhance our workflows there will be ways that we can do that with minimal road bumps
NX Pre-Sim CAD
What do you like best about the product?
Having an updated and clean slate user interface makes it easier for our new users to adapt to NX from previous software options. The integration possibilities for NX with our current EDA tools is a major win, can't what to see how much more seemless Xpedition to NX integration will be.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to work with both metric and standard units; the problem we often face is model and assembly unit conversion to go back and forth. Customers require using NX command prompt for every individual part file. I would like to see a drop down tool from within the menu to convert the model dimensions. I'm doing this with a batch file right now, which definitely a downside compare to competitors products.
When using analysis measure the parametric measuring options are not as intuitive for defining specific ways to measure features. For example a center-to-center and center-to-edge we utilize all the time for tolerance analysis but are much hard to measure in NX than in CREO or Catia.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need NX to support our transition to single data source model base engineering platform. Our CAD and analysis used to be completely separate, allowing for gaps in teams' understanding, NX allows us to begin design natively in NX while utilizing Simcenter3D as we have been.

My NX CAD review
What do you like best about the product?
Over all it is a easy-to-use tool with intuitive and flexible design options and automation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The legacy sketching environment wasn't as user friendly as some of the other program features. Also the NXOpen command database needs more documentation and examples for users to get a better understanding of the tool especially on the python side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX CAD allows us to produce MBD designs while also being able to still modify our legacy drawings and models. It allows good control over drawing/PMI elements as well.
Best CAD program on the market but high entry cost.

Advanced Surfacing is best in class for consumer products.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost of entry prohibits small business from implementing NX.

Callaway Golf develops golf products in consumer product category. NX advnaced surfacing and best in class wire-frame-to-solid tools give Callaway an advantage over competitors.,
