Powerful tool that is being improved
What do you like best about the product?
Large model management and initgration with teamcenter
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always user friendly and takes to many clicks to do simple commands and find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing models, drawings and and FEA. Making managing large models easier.

Siemens support is not the best. However our 3rd party vendor is good

Solid modelling of our forging tooling and designs
One of the best cad software.

I use nx since my first job(6+yr experience).
Na cad Capability to Handle large assembly is impressive.
Easy to customize shortcuts and ui.
A-Surface editing options is also very easy and helpful.

Need to update tutorials for their new features.

Use to create prototypes model and production models.
It's cam intigration also helpful to manufacture parts and model data loss is avoided.

What do you like best about the product?
NX Cad is extremely powerful for designing many different products. The tools and applications it offers make the process very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheer amount of options it has can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our NX is integrated with Teamcenter. Being able to create a new model and seemlesly store the data is amazing.

Shorten design time and improve design quality through design using templates

It's not intuitive and it's getting more complicated and slow.

It provides a lot of help in the design by providing various functions.

It's challenging to compare its featureset with other software like Autodesk inventor that's easier to use

NX is intuitive piece of software which works nicely when you're used to it
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the predictive functionality which has been added when selecting certain lines, faces or features. The sensitivity slider also really helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new sketcher, we (as an engineering department) tried it but we couldn't get the hang of it. The way of creating sketches seemed non-intuitive. Therefor we chose to use de old sketcher where everything needs to be defined and can't move after this has been done.

I have used many CADD softwares in 30 years. NX is the most flexible and power CADD software available.

The menus can be buried a bit. Learn the search button.
