Control + Compliance + Performance
What do you like best about the product?
MetaRouter helps our clients manage their adtech/martech/data platforms in compliance with an increasingly challenging regulatory environment, by giving them the control they need to conduct proper governance. In addition MetaRouter provides true server-to-server connectivity, which means we can decommission a lot of legacy client-side tags, which improves site performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to debug specific events in real-time. For example, if you're expecting an event to sent to Destination X, but it's not actually being sent, it takes some manual work to figure out why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Giving organizations back the control over which data is collected and where it is sent, so that they can comply with regulations like GDPR.
2. Allowing organizations to decommission legacy client-side tags, which helps improve website performance.
3. Increasing data quality and completeness by offering a data capture setup that is less prone to tracking prevention, ad blockers, etc.

Efficient and highly performant customer data infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
MR team is very quick to take product feature requests and implement those requests
I have seen Metarouter implement so many features and upgrades in the last 3.5 years with respect to ease of access, platform upgrades to making sure we dont have any downsides, features to implement any source and destinations

Nothing that i dislike about Metarouter. I hope they can acquire more customers and they deserve it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metarouter is working on solving event data schema enforcement that will make sure all downstream pipelines have visibility on the data attributes
MetaRouter has key differentiators in the CDI space
What do you like best about the product?
The team at MetaRouter has been a pleasure to engage with. Professional and well-informed about the space and use cases possible. The platform has some exciting differentiators. The service-side aspect is compelling and attractive to those responsible for site performance. And the anonymous to known id key-chain capability is compelling too. First time I've seen this in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CDI space is crowded. MetaRouter must continue leveraging its differentiators to grow and invest in the platform. MetaRouter will need to continue innovating to stand out among the competition with broader name recognition.

MetaRouter complements our abilities by streaming in the appropriate event data for profile enrichment. The customization for specific attributes helps tailor the data collection and avoid noise in the pipeline.
Remove the friction from CDI implementation with Metarouter

Ease of use: MetaRouter's user interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. The documentation is also comprehensive and provides detailed instructions on how to use all of the features.

Once you've set this up you have so much freedom
What do you like best about the product?
MetaRouter is a real usable tool for eCommerce teams. This has made our lives much easier as an organization looking to continually optimize and add to our eCommerce platform. Once you've got it set up (not an easy task, but so valuable!) you unleash a bunch of freedom and flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few if any downsides. The set up is complicated, we luckily have a strong developer/ SI who did the heavy lifting, and now we just wish we had a bigger team to do more with our site. We have only so much time to run different scenarios like A/B testing, session recording and analytics reviews using the data layers we mapped with MetaRouter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to add tools to our site that use data layers. MetaRouter's model is to map them once, then add apps as you need them. We love this solution and can't think of how we would do it without.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a simple solution to data flows and integrating apps to your site, do it once with MetaRouter

What do you like best about the product?
Affordable pricing. Lots of supported destinations.

Would like to see a SaaS middle tier between Cloud and Enterprise that enables a bit more control of data in the pipeline.

Capturing clickstream events from multiple sources.

Reach out to their product team and let them hear your use case. They are very helpful and will provide helpful ideas.
Makes it easy to check your analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and makes your life easier because you can see all your events triggered in real-time. It allows you to quickly debug all the analytics calls and make sure they are triggered properly and have all the properties that you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some areas the UI is just too simple. Real-time logs view can get messy quickly, so you need to either pause or filter. Also properties from the events could be displayed in a better, more friendly way - now it's basically plain text instead of a parsed object.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using multiple analytics management tools is now possible which is great. Also debugging analytics calls is invaluable, because you can see it all in real-time.
A welcomed alternative to Segment.com
What do you like best about the product?
Pricing, Onboarding and overall experience with the tool has been wonderful. Which I super appreciate because Segment.com became extremely more costly and we needed a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not nearly as many integrations as Segment.com, but they honestly had everything that we needed at a fraction of the cost!

Marketing attribution, analytics, general marketing influence.
