I like that Perplexity provides concise answers with citations, making it easy to verify information. It allows me to dive deeper into sources when needed. The setup was very easy; it worked right away in the browser with no installation, and creating an account to access useful features only took a couple of minutes. Perplexity is also very useful and time-saving for research, learning, and everyday questions, often replacing traditional web services.

Some answers can be too short or oversimplified. Complex topics sometimes need extra follow-up questions or manual checking of sources.

I use Perplexity mainly for my financial investment. It does the homework for me by gathering the latest analyst feedback. I appreciate how detailed their answers are compared to other AI, where the answers usually lack sources. In addition to giving the information, Perplexity provides context and arguments behind it. The initial setup was quite straightforward, similar to other tools.

When I want concise answers, this option lacks a bit. The existence of concise answers is missing. Once that's addressed, we can look at improvement.

A user-friendly and up-to-date source of information
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is that Perplexity is always up to date. Whenever you ask a question, it provides up to date data and information. I use it daily because it's important that we always stay informed. I would also advise others to use it so that their knowledge and general awareness increase and it helps them stay up to date. Additionally, its setup is very easy, and it is very user friendly. In my experience, it is understood much quicker compared to any other application, and I would advise others to try it as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
In most cases, this app is fine, but the detailing it requires or the very detailed answers to questions are not fully available yet. Also, if features like creating images or videos are added, it could be even better. I think if all these things are added in the future, then there will be no need for apps like Gemini and Chatgpt. My hope is that this app remains fully updated and soon brings features like image generation, video generation, and audio generation.

Perplexity helps me solve any doubt or query and always provides updated information, which increases my knowledge and keeps me up to date.

I like its tone and approach as it's more matter-of-fact compared to other AI platforms. I also appreciate its use of other AI platforms when relevant. Setting it up was incredibly easy.

At times, the research is limited and lacking in its sufficiency to provide reliable information. I think it could improve by cross-referencing data and holding higher standards for the sources from which it obtains its information.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. User friendly. Does deep research. I am able to learn about global news, finances, analysis - all at one place. Their dashboard is pretty intuitive. I like how I can organize projects on their SPACES.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the responses might include incorrect details or unsupported claims. So one needs to verify them before believing it is true. At times it fails to process complicated prompts (which Chatgpt easily does) and asks for clarification again and again.

As a PR manager, I need to do a ton of market research. It reduces the time I spend on repetitive research, saves me lots of hours for boring, repetitive tasks.
