What do you like best about the product?
I love how Perplexity serves as an excellent alternative to other search engines, providing direct answers without unnecessary information. It impressively boosts my confidence with quick access to relevant information, crucial for my daily tasks. The user-friendly interface and vast feature set enhance my research efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to have the ability to let users adjust how detailed the response is or choose a different response. This flexibility in response detail could enhance the functionality and utility of the search engine.

I use Perplexity for quick research and project integration, saving time by providing direct answers and multiple informative pages, enhancing topic understanding without spending hours scrolling.

What do you like best about the product?
Perplexity is incredibly easy to use, intelligent, and consistently gives accurate, well-cited answers. Its web access lets me get real-time info, and it's become my daily assistant for everything from research to generating content. Highly reliable!

Sometimes, it struggles with nuanced or highly specialized queries, and there are minor delays when fetching web data. A broader set of integrations and more customization options would make it even better.

Perplexity solves the problem of quickly finding accurate, well-attributed answers from across the web. It saves time by synthesizing trustworthy info in seconds, making daily research and knowledge tasks much easier.

Nothing to like in the tool even tried paid version, Not worth
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot understand prompts well to deliver the result, Generating same results again and again with proper command to dos. Tried both content & image generation with pro version not worth to use, The tool is not ready for sale it's just for training AI models.

Great Features with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Perplexity for approximately two to three years and it has become an indispensable AI tool for initializing my research and generating code efficiently. It provides comprehensive details about the research process and automates tasks, saving me significant time. As a software intern, I appreciate how it helps me organize and prioritize tasks swiftly. I really enjoy the file uploading feature, which offers editing and risk response based on file analysis, a tool not available in many other AI software. Its capability to switch between different AI services on one platform and its seamless pairing with Google Docs enhance my workflow considerably. The pricing for Perplexity, considering the multitude of features it offers, is exceptional. The platform provides diverse AI features and robust document sharing and editing capabilities, making it a valuable asset.
What do you dislike about the product?
I notice that sometimes Perplexity can become overworked and as a result, it starts providing faulty results. This inconsistency in performance can be quite frustrating, especially when I rely on it for accurate and timely outputs. While I understand that similar tools might share these challenges, improving this aspect would significantly enhance its reliability. Additionally, while it is a decent tool overall, I find that having a basic understanding is necessary before using it effectively. This implies a slight learning curve that may not be immediately intuitive for every new user.

What do you like best about the product?
When I need to create a fundraiser for refugees, and I don't know the right words to use to make it effective, heartfelt, persuasive, eye-catching, and successful, all I do is plug in the facts, along with these adjectives, and it comes something almost magical! I use it to help me compose posts related to the fundraiser. The work I do is difficult enough, having to compose new material everyday would be exhausting.
I can ask Perplexity to help me do something I've never done, like an international bank to bank wire transfer, telling me exactly what I need. I've learned so much!

Plus Perplexity remembers what you've asked before, and will use that to add to your experience. For example, I have my elderly father with health problems, and Perplexity will recall previous information, and use that to formulate next steps.

Once in a while it still makes mistakes, so that's why you still must read to check for those. They have been minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most impressive tasks it can do is take transcription from outside sources, even with mistakes, and turn them into organized notes. This was so helpful with regards to my father's doctor's visits, to share with my siblings.
excellent way to fact check things written by ChatGPT
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very good at finding references for pretty much any fact you can throw out it or telling you if there are no references to support such a fact.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not a tool I would use to write content. It’s very much aimed towards answering questions.

chatGPT hallucinates. Perplexity allows me to easily check things that ChatGPT has said or written so I can determine whether it’s hallucinating or whether the information is accurate.

I like perplexity for its foundational commitment to merge comprehensive knowledge with verifiable sources. This is mostly effective as a research partner. Its capacity to search the web from diverse sources is awesome. I also love the user friendly interface of the platform where user can optimize its effectiveness just from a single exposure.

Perplexity is a powerful tool but the drawback also comes from its greatest strength that is its reliance on web sources. Its answers can sometimes lack the profound depth, creative synthesis, or some philosophical reasoning.

It helps me a lot in marketing research as it provides most of my requirement in doing a deep search. It also assist me in providing a good report with better efficiency and effectiveness.

I always have been a fn of perplexity because of Aravind. Plus it was one of the first ones to give sources along with answers. Now I primarily use for deep research or just quick chatting. I like their app, as its pretty neat. They also launched live stock charts & other features recently which i use on a day to day basis

Nothing to dislike yet, just that hallucinations are still present

1. Deep research reporting with sources. highly helpful for thesis work or industry understanding
2. Multiple different models to choose from, hence I get the chance to test out LLMs and check the best one for me
