What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Perplexity is how quickly it gets to the point clear, sourced, and genuinely useful. It saves a lot of time when I’m researching or validating information, especially when accuracy matters. The experience feels less like “searching” and more like having a smart research assistant who understands context. Simple, fast, and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, I find myself wishing for a bit more depth or customization in how results are presented, especially when I’m looking into very niche or complex topics. Still, that same simplicity is also what makes Perplexity feel so fast and easy to use, so I see it more as an opportunity for the product to evolve than as a real limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perplexity solves the problem of information overload by cutting through noise and giving direct, well-sourced answers. Instead of opening multiple tabs and cross-checking information, I get clarity in one place. This helps me save time, make quicker decisions, and trust the information I’m using especially when I’m researching new topics or validating insights.

I like the simplicity and speed of Perplexity. It's very easy to pick up and very simple to use. I find it very quick to get responses, and it can go deeper if needed, with the flexibility to choose which model to use in response. It's great for quickly, accurately, and simply sense-checking business ideas, validating assumptions, and checking results. The initial setup was instant and amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all LLMs, there is a real need to check the bias and sycophancy in responses.

That it's like a conversational Google, it's more accurate than platforms like ChatGPT, it's easy to use and it's easy to find references.

I tend to go to Google to load websites, it seems easier in Chrome.

I like using Perplexity for asking questions about clinical research and general topics instead of Google. I appreciate its quick and relevant answers without having to scroll through pages of information. The simple user interface is a plus, and I can access it via the web or the app.

I think Perplexity could be improved with more detailed, academic search capabilities. I'd like to have the opportunity to filter for the most recent research papers, which would be really good. Also, I would like to see improvement in the lab function, which was very promising but did not develop as much as I hoped.

I really like how easy Perplexity is to use. I find it incredibly valuable that I can use any language model within it, and I appreciate its advanced features and strong connectivity to data sources, which allow me to connect it to various data sources. It's one of my most used tools for information searches and fact-checking, and it helps me figure things out with tutorials, walking me through complicated tasks. I find it absolutely amazing. It's particularly helpful for research and analysis on companies and business development. Plus, it keeps me up to date with news, thanks to its brilliant automated tasks and alerts. Setting up the API was very easy, with no issues at all. I use Perplexity as part of my automations and connect it via the API with other platforms. Overall, it's a tool I recommend 10 out of 10 and talk about it to people every day.

I like that I can easily review sources of the answers I am getting and that I can categorize my prompts and chats into spaces.

I dislike when trying to do some math calculations the math is sometimes a tad off. Sometimes it's due to rounding but other times it is just slightly off.

Perplexity is helping me personally and with my professional clients to better serve that and serve them quicker.
