I use Perplexity for creative ideas, mailing, and much more in my daily routine. I find it particularly helpful for rephrasing in emails. The initial setup was very easy and nothing much was difficult about it.

User-Friendly Platform with Enhanced Research Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I use Perplexity for research, reverse image searching, and image generation. I like how Perplexity cites sources when answering questions, which is really helpful. It has a more friendly and intuitive interface and interactions compared to ChatGPT, making it a much more pleasant experience overall. The initial setup of Perplexity was very easy and intuitive, making the process straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
When generating images, Perplexity has a hard time understanding when I want to refine an image it just made for me. I always have to download and reshare the image to have Perplexity understand that I want to make minor changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perplexity helps me identify artworks and generate creative ideas with ease. It cites sources for my research, which is really helpful.
The Best AI Search Engine with Affordable Pricing
What do you like best about the product?
Perplexity is the best AI search engine out there. The search results and recommendations provided by the platform are up to the mark and the paid plan comes at quite affordable pricing. Perplexity seems like the next big thing in the AI search and Browser Space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perplexity is good in AI search space but still lags behind in AI chatbot space. It needs to improve on its LLM models to catchup with ChatGPT and Gemini but overall perplexity is a wonderful playform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perplexity provides valid answers to my questions about any topic from science to business and tech. The search recommendations are quite accurate and it helps me in my day to day tasks.
All-in-One Platform for Global AI Models and Seamless Content Creation
What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers multiple models within a single workflow, allowing you to access the best options from around the world all at once. In addition, it introduces an agentic approach through the Comet browser, which has Perplexity integrated. I find it especially impressive for content creation, and unlike many other models, it does not hallucinate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that I dislike it, but I do see an area for improvement. If the current system could provide multiple responses from different models at once, it would give us the chance to validate some of the options ourselves, rather than relying solely on the Best option selection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the main issue this tool addresses is content creation, and I consider it the best model available for that purpose. When I use the right prompts, the results I achieve are truly impressive.
Radical Transparency and Real-Time Answers Set Perplexity Apart
What do you like best about the product?
Perplexity is excellent because it functions as a transparent answer engine rather than just a chatbot.
The three things I like best are:
Radical Transparency: Every answer includes inline citations, making it easy to verify facts and give credit to original sources.
Real-Time "Freshness": It is built to browse the live web, making it more reliable than static models for breaking news or updated data.
User Choice: It allows power users to toggle between different "brains" (like Claude or GPT) to get the best reasoning style for a specific task.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perplexity's biggest weaknesses are its creative limitations and legal controversies.
Weak Creativity: It is a "search engine first," meaning it’s great at summarizing facts but often feels clinical or "choppy" when you need deep brainstorming, nuanced writing, or complex problem-solving.
Legal & Ethical Issues: As of late 2025, it is embroiled in high-profile lawsuits from publishers like The New York Times and Reddit. They accuse Perplexity of "data laundering"—using stealthy crawlers to scrape content while bypassing the standard rules that protect creators' work.
Reliability Gaps: Because it relies on the live web, its accuracy is only as good as its sources. It can sometimes treat low-quality forum posts (like old Reddit threads) as established facts or misattribute quotes to the wrong citations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems It Solves:
The Hallucination Gap: Traditional AI often makes up facts confidently. Perplexity solves this by providing direct citations, turning the AI into a verifiable research tool.
Knowledge Cutoffs: It solves the "stale data" problem by browsing the live web in real-time to answer questions about breaking news or current events.
Search Fatigue: Instead of making you click ten blue links to find an answer, it synthesizes those pages into a single report, saving you significant time.
How It Benefits Me
Healthy Competition: Perplexity’s success in "search-centric AI" pushes me to improve my own citation accuracy and real-time browsing capabilities.
Ecosystem Specialization: Because Perplexity handles the "librarian" role so well, it clarifies my own unique value as your creative and multimodal partner.

Essential Tool for Research, Needs Improvement in Images
What do you like best about the product?
I love the research option of Perplexity because it is the most comprehensive, providing me with the greatest number of answers that are extremely accurate and always up-to-date. Additionally, its initial setup is extremely simple and user-friendly. The truth is, it is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The image generation does not generate images for me. I think integration with my browser would be great. I would like to be able to integrate it directly into my browser as a sidebar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perplexity helps me when I need specific information about a topic, find suppliers or alternatives for things I use, and it is my main guide for all kinds of research.
Centralizes Information for Homework Help, but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Perplexity provides information from different sources all in one place. It's helpful because instead of searching on other platforms, I get the information I need in the same place. The initial setup was easy, which was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing should be lower. It hangs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity to solve problems and create assignments for my child's homework. It consolidates information from different sources in one place, so I don’t have to search multiple platforms.
Fast, Ad-Free Search with Room for Deeper Research
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can choose between multiple models, and that it works fast. I also appreciate that there are no ads interrupting my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Research is not as deep as ChatGPT has, I wish they added longer research option and match the quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Perplexity provides a good alternative to subpar search engines, saving time with automated searches.
Streamlined Research, Needs Better Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
I use Perplexity for deep research on specific topics and love that it provides detailed explanations in one place without having to go through multiple citations. The user experience is crisp and breaks down queries, answering promptly. The best part is the feature of follow-up questioning, allowing me to ask more questions related to the output and receive detailed answers. The initial setup was extremely easy; it was a seamless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Perplexity hallucinates. The answers are a little off, so maybe Perplexity needs to work on its context window and response quality. Probably have a confidence level that the model can show next to every output - 95% confidence or 70%. This will let the user know if they need to dig deeper for any citation. This would be helpful for Perplexity as they will be transparent on how authentic the output is which they are displaying to the users.

I use Perplexity for deep research. It provides detailed explanations in one place, so I don't have to go through multiple citations. The user experience is great as it breaks down queries and answers promptly.
