I used it for OS lab by asking it to create C++ codes, like for CPU scheduling and other laws. I created code to find SJF and FCFS with its help. The initial setup was simple on the web, and everything works well for me with Perplexity.

I use Perplexity for almost all my queries to help with daily tasks, task planning, mail formatting, and script generation for Instagram reels and YouTube videos. It saves me a ton of time compared to browsing multiple websites with Google. I love how quickly Perplexity provides the right and detailed answers, especially for creative tasks like Instagram reel ideas, which come with scripts and shooting procedures that are easy to follow. The quick and unique answers feel like I'm interacting with a human assistant, and it's not repetitive or plagiarized. The voice assistant on my phone is super helpful for daily tasks, always offering the best feasible answer. The chat functionality keeps everything in one app, saving time and effort while keeping me away from fake and harmful websites. Switching to Perplexity from ChatGPT was mainly because Perplexity gave better and more reliable answers, whereas ChatGPT felt saturated with repeated answers. Plus, the initial setup was a breeze, just visiting the website and signing in with my email.

The voice assistant could be improved since it feels a bit slow and sometimes takes a bit long to respond. It could be better if it was integrated into the system more efficiently. Also, there are some limitations when it comes to image generation or document generation.

I don't dislike much about Perplexity, but sometimes it asks me to pay for extra stuff when I want more big answers. It's like a game that says "buy coins" after a few free plays.
Small Things That Bug Me
The free part works great for school, but I wish unlimited questions didn't cost money. Also, it can't see my pictures yet, so I can't show it my drawings.

The way perplexity crawl from all over internet and give deep research with well explained graph and charts and also guide me in coding on basis of updated documentation.

One of most dislike thing is it can't generate ppt, pdf directly in this file format rather than giving it in url format. And it would be great if it will maintain code consistency through thread like code should be written using same type of functions and type throughout thread.

I don't have to crawl internet for finding anything I get all of these content suggestions and idea from perplexity. It also helps me a lot in vibe coding and making my software by more speed.

I use Perplexity because it's more convenient than Google's search. I find it great for deep research and I really appreciate its in-built, authentic mode. I also like how, when I need basic results, I just put in my website and everything is done for me. It's very easy to use.

I find it valuable to use the strongest LLMs for coding purposes and appreciate that I can switch to another to gain a consensus when I encounter problems. Also, the initial setup was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it'd be perfect if we can use Perplexity with an API as if I use it in the browser. I use it to copy the code from VSCode to the browser, get the answer, paste it back, and test, which is time-consuming. I tried the API of Perplexity but I didn't get the desired performance.
