Effortless Meeting Management, Some Minor Missteps
What do you like best about the product?
I like Perplexity for its ability to handle tasks like meeting notes and emails without requiring me to take action. It does these exceptionally well and without any faults. The initial setup was also very easy; just download and install on the computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Perplexity doesn't get names as accurate as they should be, so I need to rewrite or go through certain things. In meeting notes, sometimes action items are not allocated to the right people as discussed during the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity for writing emails, taking meeting notes, and doing research. It helps with action notes and scheduling by automating these tasks, which saves time and reduces the effort of doing them manually.
Transformative Tool with Seamless Integration and Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I use Perplexity for daily assistance tasks like research, code assistance, and automation testing. I love its simplest UI and the variety of LLM models it provides. The integration with multiple tools makes it stand out among other AI tools. It's super clean and elegant. The pre-automation templates are amazing because, with very small changes, they help complete end-to-end work that used to be a nightmare to perform manually. I also value features like Focus mode and the real-time multi-search engine. The Focus mode helps me brainstorm clearer ideas, utilizing the power of AI with real-time smartness. The multi-search engine provides accurate answers tailored to specific niches. Setting up Perplexity is as easy as plug-and-play, and I frequently use it with Notion for my personal knowledge base, knowing there's huge potential for integration with other tools to reduce manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel Perplexity gives responses slowly compared to other LLMs available in the market. It's not always the case, but it seems like it does too much search which, if reduced, could make the response faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity for daily assistance, optimizing code, finding better code options, and automating tasks. It summarizes blogs, gets review comments, sends email responses, and automates manual work with templates.
Transforms Research with Ease and Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
I use Perplexity every day and I’m extremely happy with it. For me, it’s not just a chatbot, but a real “research co‑pilot” that helps with work, learning, and decision‑making. I love how it shows sources, so I can trust the information and verify it easily. The answers are concise, structured, and focused, without unnecessary fluff. It works great both for quick questions and for more serious research and planning. Overall, Perplexity saves me time, gives me better ideas, and helps me make more informed decisions every day. The initial setup of Perplexity was very easy and practically frictionless. There was no complex onboarding or configuration required, which made it simple to start using it right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s too concise and skips details that would be useful for deeper technical or business work, so follow-up questions are needed to unpack the answer. It can occasionally sound too confident about something that later turns out to be incomplete or slightly off, which means the sources always need a quick double-check. For very niche or local topics, the web coverage is not always great, so answers can feel generic and require additional manual research. More control over answer depth and style (e.g., "give me a super detailed expert-level answer" vs "give me a quick bullet summary") with one click or preset. Better handling of longer multi-step tasks or projects, so context is kept more reliably over extended conversations. Tighter integration with external tools and apps (docs, task managers, dev tools), so insights can be turned into actions and workflows more directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity to research topics quickly, support projects, and draft content. It saves me time, gives better ideas, and aids decision-making. Sometimes it's too concise, requires double-checking sources, and offers generic answers for niche topics, but it's a key tool despite these.
Fast Processing, But Needs Instruction Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Perplexity has the potential to be a really great app for developing. It seems to handle the front end piece well, and even allows you to feed HTML into another app, AI app, or an actual developer. It probably does a good job with that but requires a lot of coaching. I appreciate that it processes a lot quicker than other AI apps, which expedites the process of getting things done. This is really helpful for me since I have a full-time job and still need to manage my time efficiently. It allows me to get the front end completed in a shorter amount of time, maximizing the time I have for other aspects of developing the app. Setting up Perplexity was pretty easy, and I got a free twelve-month pro upgrade, which was a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perplexity doesn't do well with instructions. I actually spend a lot of time creating an overview of what I need, but it sometimes omits important information without asking for permission. This omission is quite problematic because it's crucial to the development of my app. I asked Perplexity about this, but it initially said it didn't omit anything when it actually did. This happened repeatedly, making me not trust it fully. Additionally, it can't develop the front end shell, which is something I expected it to handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity for designing applications, though it doesn't fully solve my front-end issues. It processes tasks faster than other AI apps, allowing me to complete the front-end quicker, freeing up time for other app development tasks.

Essential Dev Companion with Reliable, Source-Backed Answers
What do you like best about the product?
The answers provided are genuinely helpful and always include sources I can verify. I rely on it every day for my development work, whether I need to quickly look up APIs, get assistance with debugging, or explore new tools. It saves me a lot of time compared to sifting through Google search results or scrolling through Stack Overflow discussions. When I need more in-depth information on a subject, the Pro search feature is very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when the citations provided don't fully support the claims being made, so I find myself needing to double-check the information. The restrictions on the free tier can also be a bit frustrating, especially when I'm in the middle of a task. Additionally, it sometimes generates technical details that seem accurate at first glance but turn out to be incorrect, so it's important to remain vigilant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool saves me hours of research time each week. Rather than opening multiple tabs and sifting through countless articles, I receive concise summaries with links to explore further if I want. For my development work, it's incredibly helpful for quickly grasping new frameworks or resolving unusual errors. It also comes in handy when I'm assessing tools for my startup, allowing me to compare options efficiently without having to read through endless comparison blogs.
