Perplexity is a huge time saver for me, when researching problems that I come across in the workplace, Perplexity is my go to method.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that there is sometimes hallucinations, this is primarily due to Reddit threads containing mis-information which gets picked up. However, the fact that you get the sources listed for where the information is picked up from means I can manually verify at the source always
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in IT and it helps resolve issues that we come across at a much faster rate, this means that I have more time for focusing on improvements to systems rather than troubleshooting issues.
Consolidates Data Effortlessly, But Pricing Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like Perplexity's ability to search and index multiple pages. It's quite interesting how it consolidates information from various Internet sources into a summary. This means I don't have to visit multiple pages, which a lot of other programs don't offer. They often just provide a list of pages, but Perplexity brings summarized information right back to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think pricing is slightly on the higher side. That's something could be improved.

I like Perplexity for the different models and partners it offers, which provide more quality content. It's helpful for finding good quality and open needed research through the vendors they have, rather than random hallucination. I work deeply in technical stuff and need facts rather than words, so Perplexity helps by giving me actual data and facts. The initial setup was very easy, like zero easy on a scale of 1 to 10.

Fast, Low-Friction Search That Turns Vague Questions into Sourced Overviews
What do you like best about the product?
Search-first mindset. It’s really good at turning a vague question into a clean, sourced overview without making you dig through ten tabs.
Fast sense-making. It summarizes the state of the world on a topic instead of just explaining a concept in the abstract.
Low friction. Ask a question, get an answer with links—no prompt gymnastics required.
Good for verification. When you already have a hunch and want to confirm it, Perplexity shines.

What do you dislike about the product?
Surface-level confidence. Sometimes it gives a very clean, authoritative answer that’s technically sourced… but still a bit shallow or missing nuance. It can feel “correct but incomplete.”
Citation ≠ truth. The presence of sources can create a false sense of certainty. If the sources are mid, outdated, or all echoing the same assumption, the answer inherits that bias.
Weak at synthesis. It’s great at finding info, less great at thinking with it. Complex tradeoffs, original framing, or creative leaps aren’t its strong suit.
Over-summarization. It sometimes smooths things so much that disagreements, uncertainty, or minority views disappear.
Prompt rigidity. Compared to more conversational assistants, it can feel a bit stiff—you ask, it answers, end of story.

Supercharges Research with AI and Deep Web Crawling
What do you like best about the product?
I find Perplexity very fast to use and appreciate its rich data sources, which help me effectively research complex topics. I love that I got into their AI Fellowship Program, enabling me to leverage Perplexity's technology to obtain information quickly, which would take hours manually, particularly with its Deep Research function. This feature is my favorite as it crawls the web in a parallel fashion, uncovering sources I wouldn't have thought to look for and providing a serendipitous exploratory search system. Perplexity makes summarizing complex research papers and news much easier, allowing me to create insights and use them in my workplace. Setting it up was a breeze, which added to the ease of integrating it into my work process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed that on my Norton anti-virus environment, the exported PDF is sometimes flagged as being a Phishing PDF. If that could be solved, it will be good, since many PDFs get quarantined in my environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perplexity provides quick frameworks for complex code like Qiskit, enriching my research capabilities. I summarize complex papers fast, saving research time and boosting productivity with the Deep Research function for exploratory searching, leading to serendipitous discoveries.
Revolutionized Research Routine with Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I use Perplexity for research of features to build, managing daily doubts, and searches. I really like the scheduled triggers, which help me automate most of my daily routine searches and receive the results directly in my email. The user experience for the chat and images stands out, as the UI/UX of Perplexity is much more interesting and intuitive compared to other LLM apps. The initial setup of Perplexity is very easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I'd definitely rate my likelihood of recommending it a 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
The research can be more thorough. If it can generate diagrams, action plans, workflows it would be a lot better. I use it with other chatbots when I want to summarize the answers because Perplexity will search web again if I ask to summarize a result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity to avoid the hassle of opening multiple websites for solutions. Scheduled triggers automate my routine searches and deliver results directly to my email. Its intuitive UI/UX makes it a standout among LLM apps.
Fast, Efficient, and Enhanced with Voice Mode
What do you like best about the product?
I really love the voice mode feature in Perplexity; it's by far my favorite. It's the default way that I talk to Perplexity because it's faster than typing. I also like that you can share your thread queries with people so they can follow along. The setup was super easy and only took five seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is you can't pick up voice mode after you've started a text chat, which I find a bit annoying. I start typing something and then I want to switch to voice mode, but it doesn't allow me to do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity for quick research. It gives me direct answers and quick summaries, cutting down the need to sort through many search results, and its research capabilities are phenomenal.

I like that it provides quick, well-accurate answers to problems from reliable sources. I switched to Perplexity because it mostly gives me the desired solution I want. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be improved sometimes if I give a certain prompt to the AI and it couldn't find the desired answer that I want. Sometimes, it is unable to understand what I want from my question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Perplexity for my studies to get instant knowledge about current affairs and solve concept misunderstandings, with quick, accurate answers from reliable sources.
