Reveals issues that are hard to discover
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides insight into our cloud environment that we otherwise would not have. The Data Security and External Exposure features have been particularly helpful in tracking down critical risks to our data and infrastructure. The team has been incredibly helpful and ready to jump in whenever needed. Overall, we've had a great experience with Wiz so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides just yet. Setup was a little rough, but that is likely an environmental issue and not specific to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a robust cloud environment that is getting increasingly difficult to monitor. Wiz provides valuable insight into how we can secure our operations and where we need improvement.
A review for Wiz
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a centralized platform catering to all your cybersecurity needs and the support team is always there to help you out and answer any questions you have.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using wiz for quite sometime now but haven't seen anything to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helps us aggregate all vulnerabilities within our cloud environment.
Cloud Swiss army knife
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz's value proposition in the vulnerability proposition space is unmatched. The contextualization mixed with the exploitability reduces our volume and increases our impact. Wiz also showed my team blind spots such as unknown cloud subscriptions that would have never been even linked with our traditional vuln scanner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could rip out a few more tools internally and go all in on Wiz, however I still need to find ad-hoc solutions to cover remaining data centers, offices, and end user devices. Reconciliation of the two processes still burdensome, bright as the future is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management, contextualized vulnerability prioritization, risk management, complaince/framework analysis. But the biggest win is having devops teams working natively through the tool to find systemic problems rather then playing with spreadsheets or tickets full of vulnerabilities.
scratching the surface on cloud security
What do you like best about the product?
WIZ Security visibility has changed the way we manage security events. Using a risk based approach we are able to evaluate the configuration and its association with all resources to prioritize response. The threat center provides a great starting point to understand the most critical events to focus on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz has a lot of opportunity to scale the platform and provide a single pane of glass for all layers of cloud infrastructure. Recent capabilities for Data, identity and recently announced security lake are just the beginning of the possibilities I would like to see in the platform. In the near future I would like to see runtime protection for servers, containers and serverless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIZ provides a single pane of glass to see all of the risk in our environment. Not having to maintain an agent allows us to focus our efforts on security events and should be the model for other security and observability tools to follow. Daily, we use WIZ to manage our vulnerability management program and standardize remediation of CVE across Server and containers.
Fantastic visibility into multi-cloud
What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed by the Graph-based data model. It allows them to grow and keep pace with the changes being released on all fronts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Pro can be a Con, to beginners. Wrapping my brain around Graph was challenging. Once I "got it," then the capacity to find the impossibly unique situations becomes possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz enables a self-service experience for developers, app owners, AND the security team to review architecture, remediate issues, and take a pulse on how we are doing as an organization.
Provides a complete view of the cloud infrastructure with detailed and actionable data
What do you like best about the product?
The interface, the detailed information that is collected and then explained, and the integrations that are available to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the architecture and design of your infrastructure, some false positives could be detected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to meet the compliance and security requirements for my organization
Wiz is beyond impressive -- it is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz totally changed how I feel about security products. After working with so many that were utterly underwhelming, I had given up.
It only took a few minutes looking at Wiz to have a spark of hope brought back and for me to be excited about the product space once again.
Wiz brought so much immediate value to our organization because it captures what is important, contextualizes it in a way that matters, and then brings forth what you _actually_ need to be worried about.
I have been thrilled with Wiz, and it only continues to improve. They are always very on top of the latest vulnerabilities and getting an easy to pull report on if you are effected.
The vulnerability scanning, scanning for sensitive keys on instances and containers, deep understanding of network exposure and iam escalation paths, Wiz provides so much value for cloud security teams of any size.
I am continuing to use their ever-expanding suite of features and get more excited every time I use it. Just getting into the K8s scanning and Wow.

What do you dislike about the product?
The security graph that is used for searching is using graphql, which I think a lot of people are not super familiar with. It took me a little bit to get the querying down, but once you do, it is very powerful and super fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a startup with a lot of infrastructure and a smallish security team having a tool that gets the full scope of our cloud, infra, and even kubernetes environment is fantastic.
The fact that it builds severity out of more than just CVE score helps us prioritize what needs to be fixed and what can wait. Wiz understands that something that may have a high CVE but literally 0 network exposure is not that much of a risk. This greatly reduces noise and lets us focus on what is important.

Essential for our security teams visibility into all things infrastructure and orchestration
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz has enabled our security team to work more independently and with a greater context of our internal infrastructure. Before we implemented Wiz, we were completely dependent on our infrastructure team to follow our standards and best practices. Now, we can validate these practices and get alerts when Wiz detects any deviations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz will take some tuning (as is true with all security tools) with both severity and types of alerts. It inflated many out-of-the-box alerts because the agent reported that our VPC wasn't private because certain ports were open for specific services. This was a bit of a nuisance to correct but a minor thing in the grand scheme of the value it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team can work more efficiently and intelligently with our infrastructure team and has also reduced a lot of dependencies that we once had. It also provides alerting and monitoring that would otherwise not be available to us.
Wiz. The CSPM
What do you like best about the product?
Security Graph view is unmatched for reviewing infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of Wiz. I think the model of resources can really up prices depending on your deployment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving visibility throughout all CSP Accounts
