It doesn't get more simple!
What do you like best about the product?
Submitting receipts is incredibly easy. I like that I can simply text a receipt and fill in the necessary fields, which makes handling expenses much more efficient. The reminders Ramp sends to help with coding expenses are also very helpful—they keep me from falling behind. Instead of having to gather multiple expenses into one report, I can address each expense individually, which makes the whole process feel much less overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't imagine it being any simpler! With Ramp, handling expenses feels as easy as sending a text message, rather than facing the dreaded 'expense report' at the end of a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Field Service Technician who is constantly on the road and dealing with daily expenses, having a platform that streamlines the process of coding multiple expenses each day really eases my mental workload.
Streamlined Expense Management, Needs Better Account Management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Ramp has significantly enhanced efficiency by reducing the time spent on administrative tasks, making things run smoother for us. The integration capabilities are another standout feature as Ramp seamlessly connects with NetSuite and Rippling, allowing for a cohesive workflow that ties everything back to project expenses. I love the simplicity of Ramp's setup process; it wasn't challenging to implement as it was more about how we wanted to set up processes rather than migrating existing systems. The user interface is another aspect I highly value, as it’s very intuitive and simplifies the end user experience. Users can handle expenses on the spot with features like immediate expense justification, receipt attachment, and project assignment, which I find incredibly time-saving. Receiving real-time notifications and being able to complete expense reports using the mobile app, desktop, or even via text, enhances user convenience and efficiency. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about the potential for Ramp to improve travel management, which I expect will further streamline operations and enhance user experiences within our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that account management could be improved. I haven't heard from our account manager in a very long time. Although I don't really need them due to the platform's ease of use, regular check-ins and monthly updates are always appreciated. I reached out to them today just to confirm if they are still our account manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp enhances efficiency by reducing time on administrative tasks, improves organization in expense management, and offers seamless integration with ERP systems, benefiting our team significantly.
Smooth Setup, Time-Saving, and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Ramp has significantly streamlined our processes, saving us time and money on accounts payable. The setup was smooth, including integration with Sage Intacct, which was supported by Ramp effectively. The AI features are excellent for speeding up invoice processing. The ability to scan invoices and process payments via check or ACH is extremely useful, as is handling credit card transactions and reimbursements for employee travel. The ease of use and setup stands out, along with the time saved, making it a compelling choice for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would make certain features in the purchase order system easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Ramp saves us time and money in accounts payable processing, thanks to its smooth integration and AI features speeding up invoice loading.
Took me from office to simpler remote
What do you like best about the product?
We're a small landscaping business; we used to rely on signing out paper checks for field purchases, and printed/mailed checks for A/P. Ramp lets us use spending cards instead of paper checks, eliminating paperwork for me as the bookkeeper, and it took my A/P completely into the cloud, and me completely into a remote office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything. I've had nothing but positive interactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have paper checks to deal with--saves time and frees up a physical office in our building, since I no longer need to interact with paper daily.
Excellent T&E management that does so much more.
What do you like best about the product?
Receipt uploads via SMS texts and user email accounts have been game-changing. Staff struggle with keeping track of their receipts, and that eliminates a big pain point. It's also highly configurable, allowing the Finance team to create custom coding rules, further simplifying the expense management workflow. While we initially only wanted Ramp for its credit card features, we now utilize all of their modules: Treasury, Procurement, Bill Pay, Reimbursements, and even some Travel bookings. Setting up categories and coding rules can take some time, depending on the complexity of your chart of accounts; however, it is well worth the effort. I end up on the Ramp site almost as much as I do on our accounting platform due to its usefulness and our reliance on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Treasury syncing to Sage Intacct hasn't always been smooth, specifically the Investment account dividend entries. I end up booking those manually at the moment, but we're working with Ramp to fix the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't stress enough how much time and stress the credit card expense reporting features have saved the Finance team at month-close. What used to take several days for staff to submit is now ready for syncing within a day or two after the end of each month. Additionally, interest-bearing bank and investment accounts have enabled us to earn meaningful yields on money that was previously generating little to nothing in our historical bank accounts. As I understand it, the procurement feature is scheduled to start syncing with Sage Intacct, further streamlining our existing workflows.
Very good AP Automation
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Ramp is that they now offer a three-way match feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs a bit more than some alternatives, but you can always discuss pricing with the sales team to find a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to pay expenses through Ramp instead of having to send out paper checks has been fantastic.
Ramp is an excellent software for expense management!
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy and intuitive Ramp is to use. The credit cards offer cash back, which is a great benefit, and the customer service has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about Ramp. I only wish I had discovered it earlier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has been fantastic for managing expenses. Often, it automatically finds and includes the receipt, so I don't have to attach it myself. I find it convenient and easy to use.
The Ramp card makes spending hassle-free
What do you like best about the product?
It really helps you spend hassle-free, as the Ramp card is accepted worldwide and supports various payment options. I also love the feature where you can easily track your spending, assign specific limits, or even set merchant types for each virtual card.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really give any examples at the moment, as I haven't had any bad experiences with my Ramp account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps us track spending, speed up transactions between teammates, and gives our finance department the ability to easily monitor, finalize allocations, and manage any company-related financial reports or incentives.
Ramp is Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitive nature of Ramp. Things work like I expect and the team tends to be easy to get in touch with. Constantly shipping new features!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems like the company is still catching up on a few features. I'm sure it'll get sorted out and have trust in the team to BUILD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is great with organizing our expenses and AP, so that I can spend my time doing other more value added items.
Smarter Spend Management
What do you like best about the product?
Automatic receipt capture (via email or SMS) and matching to transactions reduces manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to traditional credit cards, it feel that the rewards, signup bonuses, or travel-related perks are not as strong
