Great product that simplifies team expenses!

  • April 12, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The product is great. That ability to assign cards to new employees is easy enough but most importantly Ramp is designed to actually get recipes and info for every transaction. As soon as you use your card, you're pinged to scan your receipt - and it makes it a lot easier to get the expense info we need from our employees. They don't necessarily perfect expenses and management - but they make it a lot easier than anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit is variable. I don't know how businesses can realistically be operated when the available limit can change so dramatically, but most importantly, they do not notify you in any way when your limit changes. This becomes a business risk because your employees can be stuck during travel, etc. We're planning on moving infrastructure costs to a cash-back credit card with our bank to avoid being put in a tight spot on employee expenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distributing company cards to employees to allow them to cover travel and misc expenses is our core use case. We also really like the invoice management feature, something that makes a big difference for a small company!

Ramp Makes Spend Management Seamless

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes it super easy to get a high-level view of how your company is spending money and take action to cut your spending when necessary. Their card management system makes it incredibly simple to segment your expenses and helps keep you on top of your spending.

As a small startup, we want to spend as little time on peripheral tasks like financial management, and Ramp makes that possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Ramp Quickbooks integration has been kind of buggy for us. Also, it would be nice to have the ability to customize your landing page dashboards for metrics you care about, such as monthly and/or weekly spend, spending broken down by team, month-over-month spending increase, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it super easy to view your spending at a high level. Also makes it very easy for employees to submit expenses.

Easy win! Saves money and time!

What do you like best about the product?
the 1.5% cash back is incredible, and the integrations with accounting software save us a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit too much primary navigation. It feels like it could be bucketed better, as I end up spending too much time finding what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to see how much I've spent this much, see trends, and look up individual transactions.

Ramp solves expense tracking and receipt recordkeeping

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is easy to implement. My employees quickly receive a card and must upload all receipts and memos for the purchase within 7 days or their card will lock. Accidental purchases can be reimbursed to the company through the system. Everything streamlines straight to the bookkeepers. It's been a huge success!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love more options for claiming rewards (only account credits now). I'd also love to see requirements for categorizing expenses when employees submit, such as "Office Supplies" or "Off-road Fuel".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp solves all spend control and receipt tracking. No employee can make purchases without providing proper documentation. This has saved our company a ton of time, money, and records.

Ramp is an invaluable tool for us

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use Ramp to keep track of our monthly spend, as well as pay our vendors and reimburse our employees for their out-of-pocket expenses
What do you dislike about the product?
Ramp keeps on telling us about duplicate vendor invoices just because the invoice amounts are the same
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp helps us keep track of our monthly spend as well as pay our vendors and reimburse our employees

Amazing Software, I'm not sure how we survived before.

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We love the virtual cards, card controls, and bill pay. Our vendors love getting paid through Ramp. It offers better systems and controls than our bank!
What do you dislike about the product?
We only get 1.5% cash back through Ramp and we get 2% through Capital One Spark. So on large purchases, 20k+, we still use the Spark card to get that extra 1/2 percent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlines all of our cash flow, payments, and employee spending. It's an amazingly stable system. It just works all the time, and we never have issues. When we do, support has been extra quick to catch the error.

The best platform for non-payroll opex

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Consolidation of spend management, reimbursements and bill pay (including checks when necessary).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the approval process for bill pay can be confusing and I would love to see a summary of outstanding checks/payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating all non-payroll opex spend in one platform. A/P, credit and reimbursements and easy to use integration to QBO.

Ramp will save you time and make your employees happy!

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Ramp makes it much easier for our employees to travel and keep track of receipts, without manual expense reports or chasing receipts. The email in receipt function is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have view only access into our bank accounts so I have to upload statements each month to keep our Ramp account active. Its a small price to pay for the convenience the rest of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expenses were taking to long to reimburse to the employee. Our old system sent reimbursements with payroll. Sometimes that meant an employee waited three weeks for reimbursement. With Ramp, we have that down to a few days.

The ultimate spend management tool

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Saves our organization and me time, money and effort. It is a massive upgrade over competing tools (e.g. AMEX, Concur) I've used at other organizations. It is super simple to set up and use and all our employees love it as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the whole it is a 10/10 product. One very minor complaint I have is that sometimes it has so many tools that it takes time orienting myself to remember where to find each. They have a very helpful "Help" function though, so these issues are solved very easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and matching receipts, tracking corporate spend, issuing credit cards, creating compliance policies around spending
