Simplified Costing Process

  • April 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of connecting job costs with the appropriate job. We are able to more closely track costs for our jobs without waiting for a post job recap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the credit limits were higher, they are based on our bank accounts, which I understand but this is limiting our ability to fully utilize Ramp for everything we do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping better track of our job costs to ensure we are making decisions while those decisions can still affect our profitability.

Very Easy to Use and Excellent Real Time Reminders to Attach Memo and Receipts on Each Transaction

  • April 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The reminders that you just used your card and need to attach memo and receipt.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike that there was no App but that has been resolved with the advent of an App.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior we were having numerous requests for missing invoices from dozens of purchases done each month with companies for one off purchases for which we used credit cards.

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has a great product for bill pay and credit cards. We appreciate the easy to use interface and the customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! We are enjoying the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having a hard time tracking down the credit card receipts for our bookkeeping clients. And it also helps with multiple approvers.

User friendly

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to forward my receipts directly in addition to taking a picture and uploading. I also love the texting feature. A newer feature, allowing me to add a memo and coworker is super helpful as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, no complaints here. Even when I couldn't find an answer regarding amount used and my limit, I was able to call customer service and resolve it promptly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is allowing transparency in spending, expense reporting and has multiple ways of capturing how we can get those confirmed digitally. I love how user friendly it is.

Quick onboarding & built for all-around efficiency

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- I was able to get up and running very quickly. I moved from a different card provider to Ramp and was able to switch over in a matter of minutes
- The virtual card is super helpful. I've actually never had to order a physical card because I can use the virtual card online and have even added it to my Apple wallet.
- Receipt upload reminders are super helpful and take less than 30 seconds. Everything stays in order
What do you dislike about the product?
- I don't see any big downsides.
- I wish I could create a one-time card number to share with someone on my team who needs to use a card but not put us at risk of a leak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Easy spend / resource management for a distributed, entirely virtual team
* Reimbursement services for team members regarding work-related payments and expenses

1000% improvement for our team

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has enabled our team to reconcile our charges literally up to the day with ease. The team doesn't need prompting to enter their charges because it is so easy. The best part is definitely that the receipts auto-pull from our gmail and amazon business accounts so we do not have to find receipts or pester people to upload. Compared to Amex and managing that with spreadsheets, Ramp has totally changed how we manage our expenses! The reimbursement feature is nice too, and the ease to issue cards to the team and manage their spend has given us a lot of peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, I have no complaints! Only little things. Would love for the cash back to automatically apply. Would love more searchability on the statements. But the reporting is strong so that more than makes up for it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to issue cards to temporary staff quickly and control their spend. We are able to realize project costs close to immediately, instead of weeks later.

Smooth and easy

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The entire system is logical and intuitive. Whether I'm paying bills, tracking expenses, providing employee cards, or reviewing activities, it's all right at my fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything with the core product to dislike. I wish Ramp provided business checking accounts. Their technology is way more effective than any bank I've worked with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously it honorous to track and manage expenses, to make sure spending was in line with the business needs, and to physically write out checks for payments to vendors.

Co-pilot feature rocks!

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Makes keeping track of billing/expenditures easy. My fav feature of Ramp has to be the co-pilot mode. It allows me to easily assist my manager in having all his receipts and invoices uploaded without having to log into his account with his login credentials. Another thing I like is the virtual credit card feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe recently they updated the layout of their page and I'm not sure if I like this new layout. I think the layout makes it harder to digest what is on the screen in my opinion, but might just be a preference thing or maybe it just takes time getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has to occasionally do test purchasing so having the virtual credit card for this purpose is very convenient. And again, the co-pilot mode is a feature I really appreciate.

Ramp has been a great asset to help streamline our credit card spending

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to add receipts when using the credit card. You get a text reminder and the app also pings you. I've hated doing expense reports for years but this makes it so easy that nobody has an excuse for not taking a quick picture of a receipt as soon as they use their card.

There's lots of automation on the admin-side! It automatically finds receipts when we order items on Amazon and it's linked to Google Workspace to do the same thing. When syncing expenses to Quickbooks, it will suggest to create a rule for recurring expenses to cut down on repetitive tasks.

Virtual cards are very flexible and super handy if you have to quickly get a card to an employee to make a purchase.

Excellent and responsive customer service!
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue we have with Ramp is that they are incredibly sensitive about adjusting your spending limit without notifying you. For instance, we moved some money from checking to savings, and instead of having a temporary grace period or notification that our spending would be suddenly, and massively, lowered, it just happened and payments were getting rejected. I understand that they are trying to automate this and I get why it has to be linked to your bank account, I just wish there was a little more flexibility as we've had to move a bunch of expenses to a different platform as a result.

Bill pay is a great feature but the process is clunky. When you're missing a required field, it doesn't highlight the field in red so you are left guessing.

I wish our spending limit was the first thing I would see every time I log in
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To easily allow our small company to have a flexible spending account that automatically syncs back to Quickbooks. This has allowed us to increase productivity as it's super easy to use!

Ramp changed our business

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Before using Ramp, we were manually entering expense reports into our CRM. It was tedious, and difficult to enforce compliance. Ramp automates so much of our expense management processes that we were able to free up nearly 10 hours a week of our Finance team's time. We now have greater visibility and control over our expenses. We put controls into place, like creating ad-hoc virtual cards for every vendor then locking them down to a specific dollar amount per month/year. This allows us to prevent vendors from raising prices without informing or getting our consent. We can also enable our employees to spend within limits using their approvals and card requesting workflows. I seriously cannot imagine ever going back to a time without Ramp. It's changed our business permanently. We've also made over $10,000 last year in cash back, which is just icing on the cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ramp is still innovating and improving the interface and features. They're adding new integrations. Sure, I've got a wish list of things I wish it could also do, but there's so much it already does that's like wishing for an extra doughnut when you've already got a box with a dozen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have an efficient and scalable process for managing company spend and expenses. We've saved over 10 hours a week in administrative time, captured thousands in savings due to increased oversight of expenses (with so much micro-transactions and subscriptions nowadays), and the $10K+ a year in cashback is a huge bonus.
