Good solution for mid to small companies
What do you like best about the product?
The need for expense reports and the accompanying burden to accounting is eliminated. Receipts and approvals are all in one place making it easier for users to comply with internal policy. The text reminders at point of purchase keep receipt collections timely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly we haven't found a downside after two years of implementing Ramp and over 200 cardholders. It is an easy solution to use. My one comment is navigation is a bit awkward and some sections are not intuitive. Once learned, it is straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Ramp, our four person accounting team would have to manage 200 users. We have frequent travel, and the burden would become overwhelming. This has allowed our team to focus on budgeting and reporting rather than processing reimbursements. Serious value add!
Easy way to pay
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes it easy to pay vendors and you can earn cash back without doing anything other than to use the card like a credit card. You can control the limit
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not sync to all ERP system. At the beginning it's a little hard to learn how ramp works but after that it's not so bad

It gives each department a spending limit which helps with budgeting

Ramp makes expenses super easy to submit. I like the way they tell you which receipts they need and there's a variety of different ways to submit them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some receipts that couldn't be parsed but not many.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to upload receipts and code them with the correct department. The email and other integrations with google auto-match receipts!
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing is that Ramp doesn't auto-match from email, doesn't always pick up on it, and you must manually upload them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to not only use a hard card, but also virtual cards with different limits.
Great salescall from the beggining, onboarding was easy and great feedback.
What do you like best about the product?
We love how to ramp we can process many items in one place. It has a robust system and is easy to use for any level of expertise. Competitors can not beat the accessibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
We want a faster processing time to have accessibility to funding. Having faster turnaround on jobs could close the gap between the competitors and us. Have more spending power.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the company purchase materials to get jobs done. Process to manage everhyones expenditures is quick and accounting in the back end as well. Ramp has helped in our books as well.

Ramp is very simple to use and rollout for the entire organization.

Sometimes it takes a long time to hear from their customer support team. Would be nice if they had an in-chat feature.

Helps allow us to empower employees to make purchases as needed and easily allows me to budget on a monthly basis.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy the platform is to use and how simple it is to create/close cards. It has helped with our monthly closes with respect to expense management. I like the daily digests and notifications
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that the categorization of expenses was easier to manage. It appears that the platform does an initial categorization, but I can't rely on it 100% of the time. I do have a general convention that I follow, and would love to be able to move that into the platform with drop down menus that align with our accounting ledger
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has made it easier to track expenses, approve expenses, and provide visibility for management into what is going on with respect to activity. It also helps when we can easily create and cancel cards for specific purposes
The best integrated purchasing card solution
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI that takes most of the hassle out of expense reconcilation. Users appreciate the SMS and App integrations. Integration with accounting software makes administration easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a traditional revolving line of credit where you have 30 days to spend and 15-30 days to make payment. Whatever you spend within the 30 days is automatically debited from your account on day 30.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What used to be completed on manual excel spreadsheets is now self services by users on the Ramp platform. Real-time spending insights and controls helps administrators get ahead of any policy violations.
It makes managing expenses very easy.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to assign cards to individuals with a specific limit that either is a one-time card amount or a recurring amount.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of things I dislike. You still get money back/rewards on transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimizing tracking expenses and tracking down receipts. Everyone is held responsible for their document management and has a specified limit amount for recurring monthly charges. It also allows you to deactivate a card easily when offboarding employees. It's great!
Definitely not ideal unless you have large cash reserves

It is easy to issue virtual cards to employees
What do you dislike about the product?
The way they calculate your credit limit. It is based on your cash balance in your bank account, so if your bank account drops one day, it could mean your credit cards are blocked leaving your team stranded on their trip.

It is helping us obtain receipts for transactions when our sales team are out in the field.
