Ramp is a champ
What do you like best about the product?
The extensive flexibility of virtual and physical card options is powerful. Invoice and receipt uploading and QB coding is easy. The best part is it's free!
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little tricky. It would help to have a concise high-level user guide for employees. Understand review/submission requirements before issuing cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No/low credit - I don't have to pay off the card every week. Delegation of spend management. Increased functionality to employees. Reduced time on bookkeeping.
Great business card for a young startup based on our merit, not on our length of time in business.
What do you like best about the product?
Great reporting, easy to use, good look metal cards, easy to pay. Employees feel great about this card.
What do you dislike about the product?
It won't attach to my bank account - I don't work with a large corporate bank, but rather a small regional - and they aren't plaid friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the business owner, we used 4-5 personal credit cards across the company and pay them daily. Much easier process with larger limits. Easier record keeping.
Great way for a small company to get purchasing credit cards
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create multiple virtual cards that can be assigned to different departments for different purposes - each with their own limits and approvals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface for the account management page can take a little getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to provide a worldwide team with company credit cards in a controlled and trackable manner. This reduces the management overhead for purchasing goods and services we need.
Great for companies that need to pay multiple vendor
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create cards, one for each vendor. Companies that pay multiple vendors can greatly benefit from Ramp's functionality of creating cards with distinct limits and usage rules. That helps avoid issues with cards cancelled because of fraud, for example. Also, the ability to create cards for employees and departments is very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I have submitted bank statements showing balance in our business savings account, Ramp is giving us a hard time increasing limits. They insist that we should link all our accounts to their system. That isn't something we want to do. Linking the checking account and providing statements of other accounts should be enough. A low limit is troublesome and we had some transactions refused because of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp solves the problem is having a single card linked to multiple vendors. If that card is cancelled for fraud, for example, we need to put a new card number on every vendor. With Ramp, a card is issued for each vendor, therefore any attempted fraud is contained.
Best Business Credit Card Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The administration of card and user management paired with the integration to QBO makes this the most efficient card platform I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not run into anything yet (8 months in use) that has caused me to doubt my decision to switch to Ramp. I love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To rapidly deploy and manage credit cards for our team with the ability to efficiently account for all spend.
System is easy to use and requirements easy to control for our users
What do you like best about the product?
Daily info available to us in an email fashion. Easy to use cash back directly to pay our bill. Text notifications to our users to submit the required receipts and other information. Pretty simple approach to card use and a great back end system to allow management the info they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides. Somewhat confusing for new users to get set up in the beginning but once they understand we have worked through that. Email is required to have a card so that has been an issue for some of our people who don't have one. Our credit limit is limiting and not because our credit worthiness just their underwriting questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actual rewards/rebates on transactions we weren't capturing this on before. Easy to use receipt documentation for job costing that allows my AP staff to process things easier.
Easy compliance with expense submission rules
What do you like best about the product?
Before Ramp, getting employees to submit receipts and memos for their credit card spend was like pulling teeth. With Ramp, we're at near full compliance with almost no effort. Employees like being able to submit documents through the app. Quickbooks interface is seamless once you get the hang of it. The AI is much better than native Quickbooks AI, so expense recognition automation also saves me time.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need to itemize products on your vendor bills (e.g. if you use bills to receive inventory in Quickbooks), you can't do this in Ramp. You'll either have to import the expense and itemize it separately once it arrives in Quickbooks, or enter and pay the bill via Quickbooks directly. Itemized bill pay would be a useful addition to a future Ramp update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As above, Ramp is primarily solving our expense submission compliance problem. We no longer have issues with getting employees to submit receipts and memos in a timely manner.
It’s by far the simplest and easiest to use credit card our church has ever used. We love it!
What do you like best about the product?
Quickly being able to categorize my expenses is the best feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be confusing whether or not we need to up the spending limit across the organization. But otherwise, no issues at all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking the tediousness out of doing expense reports is super helpful.
I love the experience.
What do you like best about the product?
No subscription fees, 1.5% cash back, quickbooks integration, ability to control spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to remind employees to submit their receipts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a dynamic tool that is cost saving and eliminating inefficieny in our processes. Love the cash back as well.
Ramp provides a powerful dashboard that's easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate dashboard and detail around reporting and rules for reimbursements. Makes it easy to keep track of multiple team members without having to do a lot of heavy lifting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have used more fun/sleeker-looking products so there could be room for improvement there. Also some of the nomenclature say around negative amounts was unclear to me at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is helping me be more organized around understanding our company's spend and easily hand out permissions and do tracking in a way that doesn't require a lot of oversight.
